    Just about one year ago, I saw this exact video to grow my chilli plants, and it stayed for an entire year! Unfortunately, they recently died when they were not watered for an entire week when in vacation. I found the video again to regrow them! Thank you so much for making this video!

    I liked the way you used orange rind to plant the seed...it can be directly Potted as it's decomposible

    Wow! What is leveling sand- does that have nutrients? Also what is the reason for using orange peel instead of just a plastic container?

    • @GardenYard
      @GardenYard  Рік тому +3

      Hello. I use leveling sand because it is porous and moist so the seeds are easy to germinate. I also use orange peel as a seed tray so that when planting, I don't have to change the peel because the orange peel can rot on its own in the soil.

    Great video. Can I ask why there was grass in the pots? did you allow it to grow or are they weeds?

    • @GardenYard
      @GardenYard  Рік тому

      It is a weed that grows on its own but I don't want to pull it out because I want to keep the soil moist

      Lemon peels both moisten and cool the soil. When planting, you can leave the seedlings intact without separating them from the peel, so the roots will not be affected.
