I appreciate the casual bowls and materials you use for pots. It breaks away from some of pushed marketing that gardeners need specific sizes of pots for success.

It depends heavily on the sort of chili you are planting. Some have fewer bigger fruit, some a lot of small ones.
Also the green grow is completely different based on which type you have.
I will try to get one that grows that big too next year, and thanks a lot for your help and information. :)

i just started gardening literally the 1st day of Spring 2021 and i’m enjoying it. i find your videos informative & pleasantly relaxing. i’m limited to a nice rectangular south facing patio. i bought some peppers(bell, sweet banana, jalapeño) strawberries, & 🥕 spinach from seeds. i’ve been using either fox farms ocean forrest, which i like, or kellog organic soil from Home Depot which in my less than novice knowledge/background, is not appealing. hopefully the vital tea i got for top dressing /compost tea can make the kellog soil better. 🤷🏻‍♂️ anyway i could go on and on, but i have more videos to watch & forums to read. so thank you for making quality demonstrated videos. you’ve definitely motivated me to try your soil mix. 🙏🏼 you should put you knowledge in a book, if you have already whats the link. thanks to everyone who read this far.

Use plastic foil when germinating in order to create a moist and warm environment. After that, a greenhouse would be ideal.

What works for me is to put the seeds in some kitchen paper, wet the paper and put it in a zip lock bag. Put the bag in a warm (not hot) spot like next to the water heater. I put mine on top of an electric hot water heater. I almost get 100% germination and they are ready to plant out after a couple of weeks.

Hi, same climate in the Netherlands. Adam Jacob, I presume you transfer them from bag to little pots once they have sprouted? I have done same and seedlings are now on windowsill hopefully about to get their true leaves so I can plant them in bigger pots.

It works with little pods and bringing them into bigger ones once they've sprouted. I get about upto 10 chili per plant :D
I also succeded in bringing them through the winter and they began to bloom again. Now I've got plenty of Chili but not ripe yet.
Thank you for your ideas about building little greenhouses

    I bought beginner soil.
It’s been about 2 weeks & my little seedlings have sprouted :)) I put about 5 seeds in little plastic cups. One outside, one inside. Made sure to keep soil moist.
Im so exited, my journey has just begun!

Great video! We are currently 14 days away from the end of winter and beginning of spring here in Australia. I am wondering if i can start the seedlings now? It is cold still but we are still receiving sunlight during the days.
