An Stuc, Lawers

This walk takes in the four munros surrounding Lochan nan Cat in the Ben Lawers Group. A super circular walk with contrasting hills with Ben Lawers being the final summit. The travers down its east ridge was enjoyable and avoided the crowds approaching from Beinn Ghlas.
An improving weather day once the sun got up but the wind was a bit challenging in a few areas. Great stuff.... this group of hills give many options from a single up to seven munros.

Brilliant Charlie. I remember coming to the aid of a sheep on the first Munro Meall Grey. It was lying on its back and couldn't get up, strange scenario. I came down after An Stuc. Beautiful Lochain Cat. Great capture again Charlie. Its a pleasure to watch your vids. The wind would cut you in two at the weekend. Cheers

Scott, Oddly enough I've had a similar experiences with sheep getting stuck on there back while on the hill.... you wouldn't think it was possible. That north wind was a reminder that winter is marching towards us and we'll soon have all the clothing on rather than carrying it in the pack :) Take care, Charlie.

Interesting route Charlie, keep that in mind for the next time. Weather looked a bit changeable....nothing like I got last week. Managed a trip to the cairnwell today and it was glorious sun and not a breath of wind. Thanks for sharing 😀

around where you are at 4.25 on An Stuc I recall a group I was in years back heading up here. The last person up put there hand on a rock to pull themselves up and it suddenly came away as a big boulder that rumbled and bounced its way down the route we had all just come up! made you think, as they say

Brillaint video Charlie , great guided route too .are the folks at Ben lawyers hotel ok I take it with parking there , ? A few to tick off for the lawyers range may give this a try , thanks

Hello Munro BaggingS, £5 parking charge at the hotel. The farmer also has the same charge in an area just next to the hotel. Not too bad considering there isn't off the road parking anywhere along that stretch. Many thanks for watching. Cheers, Charlie.
