Love the suspension on the truck ! Haye that the videos are so short now, miss all of the building and manufacturing , that's what made the "testing" at the end so enjoyable . Now we see 10 mins of build and 5 mins of driving and don't even get to see the end result before it's beat on . Still love the content though !
@@leftyo9589 This is? I think it's only a few months old. If you watch Vice Grip Garage, Dave did the rear end on his 35 Ford. Derek mentions that Dave had to leave to work on the muscle truck. Or something similar, it's been a while since I've seen the video. I do think this is somewhat recent though.
i so love the sound of that truck, watched it for years. it also shows me never give up as my Renault megane mk2 needs paint work but she is solid, needs clutch but cant give up on her same as you havent given up on the truck
That truck is outstanding. It has the stoutest engine, it doesn't matter how much Frieburger beats on it, it just keeps bellowing and destroying rear (and front) tyres. It deserves a good paint job and cool wheels and tyres. What a great job on the rear end guys. Great fun.
I can’t imagine ever not having this badass show to watch! You guys rock! I will never be able to do this myself and watching this is the best thing! Thank you guys 👍🏻
Oh man I was afraid they're gonna install some Mercedes-style multi-link suspension. Glad they did not! This 4-link is pure beef, very good adjustibility too. And Dave is an awesome fabricator! Only thing missing is the opportunity to watch it in full length!!
Roadkill historic truck Best tri 4link setup for street use The only thing missing on the truck Hoon stick 2 masters, forward massive burnouts, pullback to drive sideways to the liquor store
What an awesome muscle truck! I wish I could afford to have Dave and Dave fabricate a similar 4-link coil over rear suspension for my 2007 regular cab short bed 5.7L Toyota Tundra, that would be sweet!
The Muscle Truck is without a doubt my favourite in the Roadkill fleet. So much so that I've tried to replicate it in around 1/13 from Lego. Once I figure out the structural weaknesses, I'm planning on building a trailer with the white boat from episode 36.
You guys need more sound recorded from outside the Muscle Truck. It’s one of the best sounding vehicles I’ve ever heard, but the inside mics just don’t do it justice!
I still remember the day you and fin brought the ole girl to the dunes and put the big tires on er, me & my ole man were dying laughing, Such a good memory
I have a 77 C10 we slapped a 396 in, 25 years ago while in school. That thing screamed and sounded a lot like the muscle truck. One of these days I'll pull it out from behind the shop and resurrect the beast. "No wonder why muscle cars are fun".
That c10 can eat some corners now but it doesn’t make a smoke show like it used to. That thing is a drag truck now with how it can launch with just street tires
I can see why the original upper shock mount bent--no bracing. This 4 link is a nice idea, GM A body style, and there was a long arm factory setup on GM full sized trucks--HotRodsToHell used to have an all-purpose kit replicating the classic NASCAR setup.
Dave there is a company called esslinger engineering they make profromance parts for the 2.3 ford I got one in my sand car you can get 400hp out them pretty easy
The OG muscle truck is still King I love dulcich's dodge cuz I'm a mopar Guy but I also haven't seen it with the hemi swap yet but til I do the OG is king
What do you guys think about the new suspension on the Muscle Truck!
@@MotorTrendWatch Awesome upgrade 👍👍
Why wasn't the frame boxed in? Need box the frame for strength
it would make the ride much more rougher and stiffer that’s one reason why I believe

SUGGESTION: MORE DAVE AND DAVE IN THE FUTURE!!! I LOVE IT!!!
mt doesnt care, this is many years old at this point.

@@leftyo9589He built the Mustang II last winter/spring.
I forget what it is, but he has his own youtube channel now.
This might be the best Motortrend upload of the year. I was grinning from ear to ear. Great to see Dave being allowed back on set!
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@MotorTrendWatchwhy are there no new episodes on Discovery+
@@MrBoardstupid360 Now you know :(
The muscle truck never disappoints
It never does
Probably the best driving I've seen him do on roadkill.
That first drift around that corner was mint
Dave is the master fabricator💪🏻. And muscle truck is one the best and coolest roadkill cars. I love it❤
i so love the sound of that truck, watched it for years. it also shows me never give up as my Renault megane mk2 needs paint work but she is solid, needs clutch but cant give up on her same as you havent given up on the truck
Dave C is so humble and funny at the same time!
Looks like a bunch of fun after the rear end re build
Dave Chappelle has officially become the Oprah of 4-link installs.
😂😂😂
I just love to see the muscle truck, such an epic ride!
Great to see Dirthead Dave too!

Glad to see the muscle truck getting some love. It's been one of my favorites on roadkill for many years.
It's definitely a classic so of course we had to give it some love!
DC is a 4 link artist!!!!
'Absurd beef' is an apt name for those Heim joints. 😂
Dave and Dave are a fantastic team. Can't go wrong with the Muscle Truck, the most consistently badass vehicle in the Freiburger fleet. Great episode!
The muscle truck is unreal !!! , I love the exhaust. Great work you guys . Cheers 🇨🇦
Thanks for watching!
Dave Chapelle seems like a humble man for whom excitement is genuine 👍 Top man.
I love watching you guys work together, I can't wait to see the finished product! Chapelle is the best!

The Muscle Truck has such a wicked sound to it.
I think the four link is the best way to go. You guys did great. Enjoyed watching this. Take care and be safe.
Dave is Roadkill. Mike and Steve help, but Dave is what makes the show.
Revive Dirt Everyday but make it Freiburger and DH Dave.
That truck is amazing and Dave gets after it driving that thing!
I ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING NEW!!!
I really enjoyed this episode, thank you guys !
When I was dirt track racing, always put the left hand heims on the left as you face it.
I watched the original build on this when it came out. I've been waiting for so long.
Just caught this episode today, Badsssest man hammer down
The Daves are an excellent combo
Muscle Truck, still my favorite build to date.
Fun times right there, good choice on the 4 link!
Dave and Dave for the win!

I’m a huge foxbody fanatic but that Mustang II is hella-cool.
Such a great add of Dave.
great work! the muscle truck is amazing
Ohhh I've missed the Muscle Truck. Been a hot minute since I've heard it sing!
This truck is so cool! I want it!
Oh man I was afraid they're gonna install some Mercedes-style multi-link suspension. Glad they did not! This 4-link is pure beef, very good adjustibility too. And Dave is an awesome fabricator! Only thing missing is the opportunity to watch it in full length!!
I need a friend like Dave 😂
Yessssss, we need more muscle truck videos
Such an iconic truck
Omg my favorite one out of your fleet the Muscle truck rotsun is still my second favorite
Dave Chappell is a mad scientist. Dude got the skills to pay the bills that’s for sure
Best sounding truck always
You can't beat a classic!
I like this Dave guy. You should get him on the MT channel!
Everyone needs a Dulcich and dirt head Dave in their life...

Thanks for the inspiration, again.
What an awesome muscle truck!
I wish I could afford to have Dave and Dave fabricate a similar 4-link coil over rear suspension for my 2007 regular cab short bed 5.7L Toyota Tundra, that would be sweet!

Next level muscle truck!

My favorite part is where the brakes are smoking... "why don't you give it a shot."
Sick collab!
Never disappoints!!!!!!
I’d rather have this truck than any 2024 truck no doubt
You guys need more sound recorded from outside the Muscle Truck. It’s one of the best sounding vehicles I’ve ever heard, but the inside mics just don’t do it justice!
Hmmm noted!
I swear I just saw Dulcich in the B-52'S video "Love Shack" playing the keyboard when he was a younger man.
I still remember the day you and fin brought the ole girl to the dunes and put the big tires on er, me & my ole man were dying laughing, Such a good memory
SUGGESTION: DIRT EVERY DAY: RETRO RETURN!!!!
Yes! They need to make this happen!
Dirthead Shed is cool, but it'd be nice if he had a bigger budget.
I 2nd that
Always good with Dirthead Dave on the show
Dave is a freakin wizard
If only I had a Dave or two in my life who could make cool cars...
Sometimes you gotta go for it and become a Dave
We need more videos of the muscle 💪 truck 🙏
Dirthead Shed in da house!!! 👊🔥
Hoonigan style shredding for the win
Wicked job on the suspension, now Muscle truck deserves a decent paint job...🤘
The MUSCLE TRUCK ROCKS

Freiburger: it feels weird on corners on the freeway.
ALSO Freiburger: the frame isnt square.
ME: no wonder it doesnt feel right on corners then!
A MUST WATCH!!!! NO JOKE!!!
Dave is the fabdaddy!
Another great video 👍👍
That c10 can eat some corners now but it doesn’t make a smoke show like it used to. That thing is a drag truck now with how it can launch with just street tires
Shock went "in the bin"
Dang it boy, you were in my neighborhood, keep the Truck Rolling. :)

Now you gotta get Dave back out there to put a roll cage in it!
At this point you just need to call him 4-link Dave
PLEASE LET US WATCH THE FULL EPISODES AFTER SEASON 5 IN THE UK!!!!
THIS TRUCK!
I love that truck
THANK YOU BARNES 4WD!!!! ALL ARE HIGH QUALITY PARTS FOR ROCK CRAWLERS!!! GREAT FOR DAILY DRIVERS!!!
Por fin más episodios en español por favor
Dave should be renamed mr. 4 link. Guy is insane with fabricating suspension.
Dave there is a company called esslinger engineering they make profromance parts for the 2.3 ford I got one in my sand car you can get 400hp out them pretty easy
Great video so how do you determine link separation on the axle
A real tire burner!!!!!
