I have been a fan of WRTP since I was about 14 years old and I’m almost 24 💀 I was devastated when Tyler left and then Chris- Tyson and Spencer tried so hard to keep the channel alive but I just missed the four of them together. Seeing this video gives me hope that eventually down the line they’ll all be together again :) cannot wait to see Chris & Tyler on my screen again w all the shenanigans that await them 😭🫶🏻 and hopefully getting a return someday from Tyson & Spence would be sweet too :) I HOPE YOU ARE ALL WELL I LOVE YOU GUYS

Man it’s crazy to think it’s been so many years since the four of you did let’s plays. I just want to say thank you to you all. You’ve done so much for us, you’ve made my childhood and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. I remember leaving school and instantly going on UA-cam to see if you guys made another video on a Mario series. I am so grateful for that feeling. You guys have made such an impact in my life and I really do thank you guys. The memories we’ve all made will continue to live on as well as the legacy of this channel. Hello there Chris and Tyler. 😃 I was there when W(R)LTP first started with Super Mario Bros Wii. And you two along with Tyson, Jansen and later Spencer, made it must-watch gameplay from when I was in junior college to the second-to-last semester in senior college. And I have said on my channel in a video where I talked about you lads, how much of an impact all of you had on me back then (during the prime years of the channel and its growth 📈) and the same is true of how much of an impact you have had on me since then. 😃 Quite simply, W(R)LTP made muti-player games fun and that has continued to influence my channel to a certain degree. And I too have moved away from the Let's Play format (the last was completed in 2021). All I will say is that (Chris, Tyler, Tyson, Jansen and Spencer) I wish you each and your families all the best wishes and God bless you all. Chris and Tyler? My heart can’t take this! Get ready for some sentimental stuff. I remember finding this channel and saying meh I’ll watch a couple videos because nobody else is playing these games. A couple years later I’m watching the same channel laughing like crazy subscribed and waiting for the next episodes everyday. There couldn’t have been a better ending and better beginning. Some of my favorite moments are the super Mario 3d world episodes they were so fun and hilarious. I’ve grown up watching this channel and it’s great knowing that two of the people that made my childhood and sparked my interest in gaming will continue and do the same for the kids of the future. the shorts are working! I LOVED watching this channel everyday when I was in middle-high school and I watched up until my fav member left. I was so happy when I saw a WLTP short pop up, WLTP holds so many happy memories for me. even to this day I have things like “mayhaps” and “I didn’t mean to” in my vocabulary, I still have one of those limited time tshirts too! The shorts are honestly a great idea to reach new viewers as well as old viewers. i once struggled with suicidal thoughts and you guys helped me a lot with coping. seeing that its possible to have fun and just enjoy life. its been so many years since that sad point in my life and things have gotten a-lot better and i have you guys to thank for giving me a reason to keep going. i appreciate everything this channel was and everything you guys have done for me and everyone else. thankyou from the bottom of my heart
I haven't been a consistent viewer through the years, but I first found you guys as a kid near the beginning when you did your playthrough of NSMBWii with just a camera pointed at the screen. You were pretty much the first UA-cam channel I ever followed, and I'd like to thank you for all the fun and chaos you shared with the world
I can't believe three of you guys have kids already. So much time has passed. I found your NSMBU let's play when I was 10, and now I'm in college. This past summer I was rewatching some of those episodes, and even 9 years later they still make me laugh. It's great to see you're all doing well, and if you do start making content again, I hope you'll take things easy (not worrying about the algorithm or shorts or that stuff).

I clicked so fast to watch this. I used to watch this channel as a young kid to escape my real world demons. It really saddened me when Tyler and Chris left but I understood they had a life outside of UA-cam. It makes me happy you guys are coming back but I hope one day, Jansen, Spencer and Tyson can reunite with all of us, even if it’s online. In middle school, I started to experience really bad social anxiety and self-isolated from all my friends (we were all fellow loners, but they started smoking weed and doing acid and shit and it weirded me out being so young) and stayed inside on a nocturnal sleep schedule an entire summer, and I found your smbx series and NintendoCaprisun's megaman playthroughs. It made that period of my life that much less lonely and gave me so many laughs in a really rough period of my adolescence. I started getting into melee competitively about the same time as Tyler started doing more falco tech on your smashing sunday videos, and it was kind of cool to get better and better at the game as Tyler got better and better too. I remember thinking "I wanna do that too!". People always talk about how parasocial relationships are this horrible thing, but for me, growing up with you guys has been such a positive experience, and you 4 absolutely influenced my humor with my own friends. I still call people "nerd" and "freak" and say "srry bout it", all the time LOL. Watching you and a bunch of other youtubers was such a formative experience. It was so cool growing up with you guys.

I watched your vids of Wii Party, Wii Sports Resort, Mario 3D World, Nintendo Land, etc. so much back in the day. No one on UA-cam nailed the vibe of 4 friends hanging out and casually playing games on the couch like you guys did. Hearing that both Chris and Tyson have a kid is wild. Good to know you're all doing well and I'm interested to see what kind of stuff the two of you are gonna post. And I'm also glad you're just doing it for fun and not solely as a job. What's important is that you guys enjoy yourselves, and when you do that'll extend to the viewers as well. As for shorts, Tyler failing at fast food and the og Champion's Road were both pretty iconic and could probably work well.
You guys helped me out with so many games over the years! And I loved just watching you play them. You got me through some tough times when I just needed something fun and stress free to get my mind off things. Thanks so much for that! Was just thinking of what happened to your channel the other day, and lo and behold you guys still upload stuff to this day! I remember finding this channel from New Super Mario Bros Wii and Wii U videos back when I still didn't have an account, and I thought you guys were so damn funny. It really was a trip down memory lane looking at the recent shorts, and it made me realize that a lot of the jokes you guys said back in the day went over my head since I was just a dumb kid back then haha. Eventually I stopped watching as I grew older and branched out to other non-Nintendo games, but I'll always fondly look back at how memorable your videos were to me back when I was only allowed to play Nintendo stuff. While I do miss the charm of lets play videos from old UA-cam, it's nice to see you guys moved on. Sorry if this was kinda rambly, but I just wanted to throw my two cents into the comments. I remember first watching this channel back when they did the let's play for mario and sonic London 2012 Olympic games when i was in 3rd grade and I just rewatched the whole let's play recently, the nostalgia from those videos was insane, I'm really happy u guys are back in ur own way and on ur own volition. U guys have had a tremendous impact on me and plenty of other ppl growing in that generation, the memories will never fade ❤️💯
I can certainly tell you that what you are doing now seems to be working as I just found your channel recently and I love watching all of your older content as a new viewer. One of the first channels I ever saw was this one back in 2013/14. I loved Wii Party, Mario Bros U, Wii Party U, Smashing Sundays, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 10, Sims 4, Tennis Ultra Smash and Tennis Thursdays (from 64) in particular. Your content has definitely influenced my content as well (I might have been deluded into thinking mine would go so well). I ended up buying Sims 4 having watched your series and I have bought almost all those games and made my own content and enjoyment from then thanks, mainly, to you guys. I also ended up getting Twitter not more than a day or 2 after Tyson and Cassie got engaged so I guess in a way you influenced that too... sort of. I figured then that I wanted to see how other gamers and other people I was a fan of were doing. WLTP was the first UA-cam channel I believe I ever properly watched as it happened, as I had just made my first account at the age of 8, way back in the distant year of 2012. Watching the New Super Mario Bros U playthrough and learning about the Wii U from there, and generally having my horizons greatly expanded by it, was amazing, and the entire LP was just a joy to watch, and I finished the series on New Year's Eve, just thinking to myself "Wow, isn't life grand?" And now here I am, 10 years later (turning 19 in February), exhausted, sad, and worried about the future, having just moved continents to escape an abusive cycle, and attempt to start again. I come across the NSMBU Let's Play once more... and for just a brief moment, that feeling of life being grand returns for just a fleeting moment, enough to put me at peace. Watching the whole thing again just reminded me that fun and hope remains, and that it's still attainable in some way or another, for everyone. Oh, and on that note, my idea for a "Shorts" addition's gotta be from Episode 26, specifically the "Run for It!" level. So more screaming, panic, and joyful rage... and nostalgia most of all. That being said that LP has legendary moments sprinkled throughout as well. I also recall enjoying Super Mario 3D World and Mario Party 9 very thoroughly. That's all from me. 10 years on.

I have UA-camrs that I know helped me realize the type of UA-camr that I wanted to be (CoryKenshin, berleezy, jacksepticeye, AfroSenju etc) but this channel will always be where that passion was first ignited. You guys were the first ever UA-camrs I've ever consistently watched as a kid during the channel's peek around 2011-2014 and I still have vivid memories of me always toning down the volume whenever you guys swore or made adult jokes as to not get caught by my mom lol Like many others, my favorite Let's Plays was Wii Party U,Nintendo Land and basically ALL of the Mario games that kept me hooked onto Nintendo to this day I was still young as hell when Chris and Tyler left and around the 4th-5th grade so it broke my heart as a kid because even though I've moved on to multiple new channels WRTP has always held a special place in my heart Now I'm 15 and in the 9th Grade, yeah I was definitely a tad bit too young when I started watching you guys 10 years ago when I was 5 years old but I'm forever grateful that the first ever youtube channel I watched was just friends having genuine and unscripted fun recording themselves playing games Still kept in touch with Chris's Twitch and checked on Siber and Spence a couple of times in the channel but it was obvious it wasn't the same anymore, the sudden end of the channel wasn't really a surprise to me This update video really gave closure to such an important part of my childhood, and knowing all 4 of you guys are doing well right now after all these years is good enough for me Never unsubbed from this channel so it's gonna be pleasant to see it show up in my feed from time to time, hope you guys are gonna have fun with whatever you're planning for this channel in the future! - A Weirdo since he was 5 years old
I honestly don't remember how old I was when I started watching you guys, I found you from watching your Super Mario 3D World playthrough, I absolutely loved it and you guys made me laugh so much! I'm now 18 and seeing this video just set my spirits so high in hopes all of you get back together and play again! I absolutely still love you guys! Hello WLTP and welcome back. I know you are receiving a lot of love so I’ll keep this brief cause I have a short video idea for you. I’m glad everyone is happy and I can’t wait to see the new content! First of all, you could probably make so many shorts on the super Mario 3d world finale. I’m unsure if you want to keep swears in the shorts cause there is a lot in that video but still hilarious. There is also the one super smash bros u video with you guys running around a board with your mii and collecting characters for a final fight. Spencer died really early but snuck enough kills to tie for a death battle with one of the other three which confused everyone and Spencer quickly one hit for the win. hands down favorite moment ever is Super Mario Bros X, episode 7 ~5:30 when you get the secret exit by glitching through the floor. I remember I first stumbled into this channel watching the Wii U party feed me and it has been my favorite video of the channel and then I went on to watch more videos including the Nintendo land videos and more Wii U party and Mario party all those memories will never go away and I hope you all stay well.

When I first watched you, I was so little I had to hide it from my parents due to curse words! You were my favorite let’s players as a kid. I loved the Mario party games on the 3ds videos, and the original Mario 3D world play through, the bowser party stuff, and Wii play U! But my favorite videos were always the Nintendoland playthroughs. So so glad to hear that everyone is doing well :D

I have been a fan of WRTP since I was about 14 years old and I’m almost 24 💀 I was devastated when Tyler left and then Chris- Tyson and Spencer tried so hard to keep the channel alive but I just missed the four of them together. I was there when W(R)LTP first started with Super Mario Bros Wii. And you two along with Tyson, Jansen and later Spencer, made it must-watch gameplay from when I was in junior college to the second-to-last semester in senior college.
And I have said on my channel in a video where I talked about you lads, how much of an impact all of you had on me back then (during the prime years of the channel and its growth 📈) and the same is true of how much of an impact you have had on me since then. 😃
Quite simply, W(R)LTP made muti-player games fun and that has continued to influence my channel to a certain degree. And I too have moved away from the Let's Play format (the last was completed in 2021).
All I will say is that (Chris, Tyler, Tyson, Jansen and Spencer) I wish you each and your families all the best wishes and God bless you all.

Chris and Tyler? My heart can’t take this! Get ready for some sentimental stuff. I remember finding this channel and saying meh I’ll watch a couple videos because nobody else is playing these games. A couple years later I’m watching the same channel laughing like crazy subscribed and waiting for the next episodes everyday. There couldn’t have been a better ending and better beginning. the shorts are working! I LOVED watching this channel everyday when I was in middle-high school and I watched up until my fav member left. I was so happy when I saw a WLTP short pop up, WLTP holds so many happy memories for me. even to this day I have things like “mayhaps” and “I didn’t mean to” in my vocabulary, I still have one of those limited time tshirts too! The shorts are honestly a great idea to reach new viewers as well as old viewers. Chris and Tyler don’t have any plans to get rid of any old videos.
In middle school, I started to experience really bad social anxiety and self-isolated from all my friends (we were all fellow loners, but they started smoking weed and doing acid and shit and it weirded me out being so young) and stayed inside on a nocturnal sleep schedule an entire summer, and I found your smbx series and NintendoCaprisun's megaman playthroughs. It made that period of my life that much less lonely and gave me so many laughs in a really rough period of my adolescence. I started getting into melee competitively about the same time as Tyler started doing more falco tech on your smashing sunday videos, and it was kind of cool to get better and better at the game as Tyler got better and better too. I remember thinking "I wanna do that too!".
People always talk about how parasocial relationships are this horrible thing, but for me, growing up with you guys has been such a positive experience, and you 4 absolutely influenced my humor with my own friends. I still call people "nerd" and "freak" and say "srry bout it", all the time LOL.
Watching you and a bunch of other youtubers was such a formative experience. It was so cool growing up with you guys.

I watched your vids of Wii Party, Wii Sports Resort, Mario 3D World, Nintendo Land, etc. so much back in the day. No one on UA-cam nailed the vibe of 4 friends hanging out and casually playing games on the couch like you guys did. Hearing that both Chris and Tyson have a kid is wild. Good to know you're all doing well and I'm interested to see what kind of stuff the two of you are gonna post. And I'm also glad you're just doing it for fun and not solely as a job. What's important is that you guys enjoy yourselves, and when you do that'll extend to the viewers as well.
As for shorts, Tyler failing at fast food and the og Champion's Road were both pretty iconic and could probably work well.

Was just thinking of what happened to your channel the other day, and lo and behold you guys still upload stuff to this day! I remember finding this channel from New Super Mario Bros Wii and Wii U videos back when I still didn't have an account, and I thought you guys were so damn funny. It really was a trip down memory lane looking at the recent shorts, and it made me realize that a lot of the jokes you guys said back in the day went over my head since I was just a dumb kid back then haha. One of the first channels I ever saw was this one back in 2013/14. I loved Wii Party, Mario Bros U, Wii Party U, Smashing Sundays, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 10, Sims 4, Tennis Ultra Smash and Tennis Thursdays (from 64) in particular. Your content has definitely influenced my content as well (I might have been deluded into thinking mine would go so well). I ended up buying Sims 4 having watched your series and I have bought almost all those games and made my own content and enjoyment from then thanks, mainly, to you guys.
I also ended up getting Twitter not more than a day or 2 after Tyson and Cassie got engaged so I guess in a way you influenced that too... sort of. I figured then that I wanted to see how other gamers and other people I was a fan of were doing.

WLTP was the first UA-cam channel I believe I ever properly watched as it happened, as I had just made my first account at the age of 8, way back in the distant year of 2012. Watching the New Super Mario Bros U playthrough and learning about the Wii U from there, and generally having my horizons greatly expanded by it, was amazing, and the entire LP was just a joy to watch, and I finished the series on New Year's Eve, just thinking to myself "Wow, isn't life grand?"
And now here I am, 10 years later (turning 19 in February), exhausted, sad, and worried about the future, having just moved continents to escape an abusive cycle, and attempt to start again. I come across the NSMBU Let's Play once more... and for just a brief moment, that feeling of life being grand returns for just a fleeting moment, enough to put me at peace. Watching the whole thing again just reminded me that fun and hope remains, and that it's still attainable in some way or another, for everyone.
Oh, and on that note, my idea for a "Shorts" addition's gotta be from Episode 26, specifically the "Run for It!" level. So more screaming, panic, and joyful rage... and nostalgia most of all. That being said that LP has legendary moments sprinkled throughout as well. I also recall enjoying Super Mario 3D World and Mario Party 9 very thoroughly.

I started watching in the summer of 2015, so I was a late fan back then. You guys made my teenage years. I am 25 years old now, about to graduate from college, and I have the fondest of memories of you all having fun and being, well, dumb. I was basically a parasocial Andy, having zero to no friends, and pretty much no one to play games with. WRTP let me enjoy the social aspect of gaming, having fun with friends, etc. All to say, WRTP will live on forever in my heart. Still waiting for the Cuphead playthrough on 2Bros1Up lul, longest weekend ever!

I remember back in the day I watched WLTP and The Creatures and thought both groups were amazing. Hearing that a partial revival is coming of WLTP brings nostalgic joy of better times. I have UA-camrs that I know helped me realize the type of UA-camr that I wanted to be (CoryKenshin, berleezy, jacksepticeye, AfroSenju etc) but this channel will always be where that passion was first ignited. After seeing this video after not watching the channel for a good decade, its nice to hear how everyone's moved on really. You were really inspirational to what i watched on yt back in the day, I'll always remember your rayman origins and return return dreamland playthroughs (I particularly you talking during the kirby credits), and especially the smashin Sundays, which introduced me to smash.

Legends don’t last forever you guys were my childhood
You guys were the first ever UA-camrs I've ever consistently watched as a kid during the channel's peek around 2011-2014 and I still have vivid memories of me always toning down the volume whenever you guys swore or made adult jokes as to not get caught by my mom lol
Like many others, my favorite Let's Plays was Wii Party U,Nintendo Land and basically ALL of the Mario games that kept me hooked onto Nintendo to this day
I was still young as hell when Chris and Tyler left and around the 4th-5th grade so it broke my heart as a kid because even though I've moved on to multiple new channels WRTP has always held a special place in my heart
Now I'm 15 and in the 9th Grade, yeah I was definitely a tad bit too young when I started watching you guys 10 years ago when I was 5 years old but I'm forever grateful that the first ever youtube channel I watched was just friends having genuine and unscripted fun recording themselves playing games
Still kept in touch with Chris's Twitch and checked on Siber and Spence a couple of times in the channel but it was obvious it wasn't the same anymore, the sudden end of the channel wasn't really a surprise to me
This update video really gave closure to such an important part of my childhood, and knowing all 4 of you guys are doing well right now after all these years is good enough for me
Never unsubbed from this channel so it's gonna be pleasant to see it show up in my feed from time to time, hope you guys are gonna have fun with whatever you're planning for this channel in the future!

First of all, you could probably make so many shorts on the super Mario 3d world finale. I’m unsure if you want to keep swears in the shorts cause there is a lot in that video but still hilarious.
There is also the one super smash bros u video with you guys running around a board with your mii and collecting characters for a final fight. Spencer died really early but snuck enough kills to tie for a death battle with one of the other three which confused everyone and Spencer quickly one hit for the win. hands down favorite moment ever is Super Mario Bros X, episode 7 ~5:30 when you get the secret exit by glitching through the floor.

When I first watched you, I was so little I had to hide it from my parents due to curse words! You were my favorite let’s players as a kid. I loved the Mario party games on the 3ds videos, and the original Mario 3D world play through, the bowser party stuff, and Wii play U! But my favorite videos were always the Nintendoland playthroughs. So so glad to hear that everyone is doing well :D
