these kinds of battles are so my jam! Normandy, Bocages, medium scale, relatively slow paced, nothing too fancy like crazy bunker complexes and forts, not Tiger Tanks and huge artillery stuff, just a realistic depiction of an infantry engagement in the countryside
While this battle wasn't featured in Band of Brothers, it was featured in the game Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30, which ironically circles back around cause Band of Brothers loosely took inspiration from Brothers in Arms.
Good vid mate. Camera was smooth and the angles were great. Also the setup you've done in the editor is top notch. Love that you set the troops up to actually have spacing between them, rather than some other videos I've seen where blokes all converge on one point. Shows you've put a lot of time into the setup of your waypoints. Keep it up 🤙
Battle of Caen…it’s open fields with lots of infantry, vehicles, tanks, artillery..city fighting, counter attacks..get all that in one package fight man!💯 keep up the good work #legend
Great Video as always. The only minor inconsistency were the german defenders. They were actually German Paratroopers,Fallschirmjagers from the 6th FJR under the command of Freiherr von der Heydte, but other than that perfect!!
There should be like a battlefield like multiplayer arena with a max player of 100, 50vs50 in call to arms. You can only control 1 unit and gain points thru objectives and kills, then you can spawn in a tank or whatnot. Would be wicked.
Hey diplex, huge fan of your videos. I'm not sure what's going on, but it seems to me that you keep getting quieter and quieter in your latest videos. I find myself having to turn my headset almost all the way up to hear you, and then the volume of the game is too loud (especially with the audio quality of your videos). I may be the only one feeling this way, but I thought I'd let you know my experience.
Awesome, thanks!

Brothers and Arms road to hill 30
Rip Rivas and Desola
@@Crusader_LiteI was so shocked to see Rivas bleed out at the beginning
Glider infantry 💪
This video made me replay the game. I guess that explains all the dead bodies in "Purple Heart Lane"
@@crimson_axi5892 Also never forget about Desola's corpse...

Yeah remember playing this mission back in the day, knew this looked familiar.
Both legendary titles.
I think you mean BIA took inspiration from Band of Brothers? No way did BoB take inspiration from a game that came out 3-4 years after it was made XD
Other way around buddy
@@Savannah_Media Fair enough XD

I remember this map in Brother in Arms: Road to Hill 30. Great times.
I can’t wait to play!!
Almost thought it was PS when I saw the thumbnail.
Great Video as always.

Some hidden stuff was added in CU5, like opel blitz camp skin and a supply wagon for germany
Have you thought about putting your free scenarios on the workshop so that we can benefit from them?
its like watching HLL from a bird eye view
I was in the 1-502 from 2010-2013.
Great video
very cool video.
HLL has a Purple Heart Lane map, crossing those big open flooded fields sucks 😂
It would be nice to see some mortar fire, but outside of that i absolutely love this video/game scenario/ vad man nu säger
Will you be doing a video showcasing all the new units? Would like to see one
It would be awesome if down the line devs make a pacific and african front
And later maybe a cold war game 🤔
Muito legal

I know Caen is with Canadians and Brit’s.. if you’re wanting to show off the Americans guess you could do battle of Cherborg or St. vith
I LOVE YOU
Any added planes with this dlc?
Im pretty sure that we are going to see the c47, Mustang and all that good stuff, probably on editor tho
Yes one I noticed is the Yak1 for Rus.
Which game is this one?
