Kim, I have a mini dachshund who absolutely loves watching your videos with me. She is my girl and I love her so much! She just turned seven yesterday and we celebrated with a pup cup. She loves going in the car and always gets so excited. I can’t even say the word go without her freaking out. I hope you find an insulin that will works for your sweet boy. 🤗

Magnum reminds me so much of my Max. I think you are very smart to try one pen, and see how it works. Definitely not worth a $450 gamble. Glad the bunnies are still alive.

I remember the ride HOME from the vet with our Rocky was always very quiet with him resting easily knowing the "trauma" of the vet visit was over. I suspect the stress on the way there always tired him out too and contributed to the quiet ride home.

I have a miniature schnauzer that loves watching the miniature schnauzers of yours she's very mouthy..hop in front of TV or just sits to look at u tubetumy schnoodle will look now and then.❤

Kim, thanks for sharing the update about the bunnies. You can go left up the grass to see if they are still in the hole. That's what I would do. I just had a mama robin had her nest on my electrical meter box for her 4 babies and I was checking them everyday to make sure thru the whole process and the last one was born and flew away last Monday from the nest. I have no more babies. Yes, that does sound expensive for the shots but if the vet has someone else to try. I would try it out and see what happens.

We have a mini schnauzer almost 11 yrs old. Couple months ago she got sick. Diabetes. Her glucose was 634 for test. Put on fresh pet raw diet. 2 insulin shots a day. Started out 2 then 4 then 8 for dose. Last test her glucose is 100. Hurrah. We are thrilled. Were thinking the worst. We are using the Novolin N 100 units and working. Thrilled. She hears alarm and waits for food. Hears alarm and sits and waits for shot. Dog treat in my lips. Point at her. She lies down and gets shot. Sits up and wants her treat. Ecstatic. She is back to her old puppy self running around with our 2 yr old mini Rat Terrier. Hope you find the right meds. ❤
Ps....Coco hates the vet. Needs muzzle. 😂 lloves riding in car. Loves camping and the boat. No more in boat. She can't take the heat. Our insulin was only 12$ for insulin. With syringes it is 38$.

Loved Magnum's reaction in the beginning My youngest came running in looking for Magnum to play with. hopefully you can get Mozzie's readings better it is crazy that there is no way to get a singe pen for him with how expensive they say they are. Years ago my dog use humulin n I don't even know if they use that now would have been about 20 years ago but it was only $20 dollars for a vial and she got 6 cc twice a day I think. I use N &R myself. I have tried all the new pens. I was allergic to all of them.
Ask the vet or Pharmacy for coupons from the manufacturer.. Or call them yourxelf...Especially, Mozzie being a new patient.

My vets practice are not very nice,well the vets are but the many other staff members are not. We found this out when my staffi passed away and we phoned them to inform them that she had passed away and wouldnt need the appointment no more. The receptionist just said " Ok thanx for letting us know " and hung up. No sorry or anything. I need a caring vet practice but that was not caring at all. I will go there if it is urgent but at the moment im trying to get them in anotger practice that i know are caring, xx
We have to take Rico for an ultrasound tommorrow.The vet suspects tumors on his pancreas.Losing wieght and drinking tons of water.His diabetes is steadily worsening.I;m expecting the worse as he's not the same happy little dog anymore.I just hope I can hold it together for him.

I doubt you will find another insulin at the Novolin price. It was my understanding that insulin was designed to support humans who were unable to afford their insulin not giving themselves the prescribed dose. They could get the Novolin at Walmart without a prescription.
