A7x has really grown on me thanks to you two. I always disregarded them as a basic Hot Topic band. All aesthetics, barely any talent/wasted talent. I never really thought they were bad though, just not what I wanted to listen to. I've come around on a lot of groups like that.

Hell yeah!!! The Stage is a very progressive album, I think you guys would really dig "Higher" off of this same album. Or I'd recommend "Exist" if you want to go on a 15 minute journey of awesomeness, pick any A7X song and you're guaranteed to strike gold! 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Brooks is the only one that doesn't have a stage name also.

He really broke down the Rev's parts and has done a great job, I truly believe he is the last drummer they will use unless Brooks decides to depart from them. I hope he stays with A7x. My husband is from STL, and his first ever concert was WTTF at the Zoo Amp in 2011 and it scared the hell out of him (well actually Bullet For My Valentine scared him) 🤣, so he doesn't like being at concerts and I can't go by myself due to anxiety. Having someone I trust helps me relax and fall into the music.

I also worked for a few venues in the area from 1996 to 2004 and was able to see a lot of shows that way as well. I hope you can get out to more shows soon. My significant other is the same as your Husband, she really does not like the hard rock scene at all. Although her first Rock show was KISS and she ended up seeing them 4 times with me, she loved the show aspect of KISS. I took her to see A7X and Volbeat a while back and she literally hated it. She said never again, LOL. Once again live music sets the soul free if not just for a few hours it does a person good. Hopefully you can get someone to enjoy a show with you at some point.

Probably technically better. The Rev was just more creative crazy experimental, but Brooks can play anything and everything. Brooks is better in my opinion, but the Rev's songwriting and creativity was in another level.

Fuck yes, flat out one of their best songs ever and likely their best music video ever. The stage is a damn good prog metal record and adding brooks wackerman on drums was a ginormous W for A7X. this was like 7 years after the revs death, their first album with brooks wackerman on the drums and it’s glorious, brooks is an absolutely brilliant drummer and the band members have been fans of his since before they even became famous so it’s really cool he eventually became their drummer

This is one of those songs where your totally lost on the meaning until you watch the video, or for me it was. I tried interpreting them myself and was way the hell off. I thought it was about the stages of a human beings life and how we feel were always being watched and judged by society and how ee always want someone to tell us what we want to hear instead of the truth. This is one of those songs where your totally lost on the meaning until you watch the video, or for me it was. I tried interpreting them myself and was way the hell off.
I thought it was about the stages of a human beings life and how we feel were always being watched and judged by society and how ee always want someone to tell us what we want to hear instead of the truth. I personally always tell people what i feel they need to hear, wife calls it a personality flaw from me supposedly lacking empathy for peoples feelings but im just a honest person.
