Meal shirts can freak people out. 29 years ago when I was in 8th grade myclass had a 5 day trip to one of the german north sea isles. I as a metalhead was wearing my metal shirts. One day the girls in my class were bored and decided to do bottle spinning. They got so involved in it that they thought the "ghost of the bottle" told them to go into the north sea where it has undercurrents and is even dangerous for experienced swimmers. I was out to a restaurant eating with my mother ( she was one of the supervising persons) and knew nothing of what had occurred. As if anyone could understand what was being said from the music itself lol. Cannibal Corpse could be saying "hug your mother, and be good to your dog" and we'd never know the difference. Kaiya getting a taste of what being a metal head is like. Now think about all of us that grew up in the 80s and 90s especially during the satanic panic. It used to be far worse, and at this point for me this shit is getting so old lmao.
It's funny because there was a time when metal was seen as dangerous, and the intrinsic value of the gore and satanic imagery was to be deliberately provocative to "normies". The fact that no one is offended anymore is kind of strange to me. If people outside metal hear about cannibal corpse again I'm all for it, go Lotta Shitzkova!
In addition to Kaiya's points on topic (which I agree with) I'd add that I don't see how mocking church has to be evil or satanic. As I don't see how people going to church are kind and meek with no exceptions. It's just dumb and wrong argument to begin with.
It's those very people who are religious fanatics/lunatics that claim anyone or anything that is opposed to religion or the church is inherently evil or satanic. In this case, it's lunatic Christians. It's not evil, but those religious fanatics will call anything evil that isn't in agreeance with their religion.

How is Cannibal Corpse mocking Christianity? At the very least come up with a band that actually uses Satanic themes in their music, like Deicide or something (I'm talking about the normies that think Cannibal Corpse are Satanic).
Death metal to me is in the same vein as enjoying b horror movies. For the most part they aren't being serious, it's all in good fun. People who are like "scared" by music are just low IQ. I'm not religious but I mean Tom Araya of Slayer is a catholic. Dave Mustaine is christian too. Obviously there are some outliers like Dissection where Jon was like dead serious in his satanic stuff, but if you have a brain you can separate that. I'm right wing but the modern "conservative" is stupid af. A lot of them are similar to the groups in the early 90s that were like putting Judas Priest on trial.
To be fair in the early days cannibal corpse would have considered it an honor to be used as a symbol of bad. But these days it doesn't really work anymore because most people simply consider it a genre of music they don't like listening to and nothing more.

Yeah I guess for me, it was the first time I ever saw Cannibal Corpse in real time get shamed for being who they are. I just finished watching the Metal Evolution Extreme Metal documentary and that really opened my eyes to the history of CC and other bands pushing the boundaries and being as shocking as they could be. I find it so interesting how closed minded some people can be to Metal.
@@imaKaiya You should check out CC's Documentary. I was wearing my Bad Religion band t-shirt (which, if you don't know, figures a Christian cross inside a forbidden sign) on the street here in Norway, and an older American female tourist walks up to me and tells me off and says I have to accept Jesus.
Isaiah 45:7 in the King James Version reads, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, AND CREATE EVIL: I the LORD do all these things." GOD CREATED EVIL. Not Satan. Believers, stop unloading your garbage at the wrong address.
@@ozzmundo5095 Yes, religions are created by people. That does not mean they´re not bad. Just like fascism was created by people and it´s bad. And if your answer to that is religion has also many good things, then i tell you that fascists say the same thing about fascism. But my belief is that there is not a single good thing that we have with religion that we can´t also have without religion.
@Dragon Ball fans can't read "The Red in the Sky is Ours" and "With Fear I kiss the Burning Darkness" are their best albums in my opinion. Those albums were more creative and experimental thanks to Alf Svensson and his unusual way of composing music. Recording himself just jamming on the guitar and then playing it backwards and making riffs based on any parts he thought sounded cool.
You should look into the Black Metal scene. Namely Mayhem and these names: Euronymous (Øystein Aarseth), Dead (Per Yngve Ohlin) and Varg Vikernes. There is some truth to metalheads being fucked up.
Yes! I'm definitely going to. Ive started diving more into the Headbangers Journey documentaries here on youtube and have learned so much. I think in one interview he talked to the bass player of Mayhem and he was quite intense lol. I find the history of metal so fascinating. Thanks for watching!
"There is some truth to metalheads being fucked up." lol What a silly statement. You could also say that men are fucked up, because they are all men. Or you could say scandinavians are fucked up, because they are all scandinavians. Or you could say young people are fucked up, because they were all young when that happened. Or you could say people with long hair are fucked up, because they all had/have long hair... I could go on making statements as silly as the one you made...
You named 3 people out of literally thousands of metal bands that have existed. That tiny little black metal scene that existed in a tiny little town in the 90s has been beat to death. Yeah sure, Varg is a piece of shit. So is Kanye. I guess all pop music is satanic? Shitty people exist every where. Whether they make music or not is irrelevant.
@@imaKaiya There's a great doco series called Metal Evolution. They were never given funding to do an extreme music episode so they made it after the series released, so the extreme music episode can be found here on UA-cam. @@imaKaiya Sounds a little like some sort of underground band that sings about Guerrilla warfare lol
Society's already decayed bruh, it's too late if ya asked me. 2023 will be really scary trust me
And you can also have satanic rituals where they sing beautiful sounding hymns as if they were at church lol!
Thank you for exposing things like this that is absolutely disgusting behavior
Thank you this is a terrible example for our children
Normies are cringe
I was wearing my Bad Religion band t-shirt (which, if you don't know, figures a Christian cross inside a forbidden sign) on the street here in Norway, and an older American female tourist walks up to me and tells me off and says I have to accept Jesus.
@ijustwannatalkaboutgames Sorry, it actually happened.
Isaiah 45:7 in the King James Version reads, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, AND CREATE EVIL: I the LORD do all these things." GOD CREATED EVIL. Not Satan.
Believers, stop unloading your garbage at the wrong address.
without sounding anti religion, religion often looks outside to blame what goe on inside its self, i guess lotta volkova doing the same
"without sounding anti religion"
Why not? lol
@@mindtraveller100there good n bad in all walks of life
@@ozzmundo5095 I am anti religion. But i am not anti religious people, because i think they´re the first victims of religion.
@@mindtraveller100 i think its people who create victims as its people who create the religion but some push positive and some use for other reasons
Grand Belial key is when you found out your not normie
@Dragon Ball fans can't read based
@Dragon Ball fans can't read "The Red in the Sky is Ours" and "With Fear I kiss the Burning Darkness" are their best albums in my opinion. Those albums were more creative and experimental thanks to Alf Svensson and his unusual way of composing music. Recording himself just jamming on the guitar and then playing it backwards and making riffs based on any parts he thought sounded cool.
I do feel a little bad in a sense btw
Ok if that's the case arrest Chris Barnes right now lol bull s
Leave it to conservatives to throw a fit over metal music, they’re complete snowflakes….
"There is some truth to metalheads being fucked up."
lol What a silly statement.
The entire series is extremely well done, as the title says, it follows the evolution of metal and each episode is broken up into different genres and filled with interviews from all the big influential bands. A very informative intro to all things metal. \m/
