I have a 2006 Kia Carnival 2,9 and we are having problems with the starter fuse the larger grey one and that you mentioned that it needed to be wiggled which we did and it starts but this is intermittant and we have purchased a new fuse but are still having the same problem. My other question is that you mention the fuel fuse which is missing from our panel which seems wierd and I would like to know it this is essential to the working of the starter. Hey boss I've got a 2009 Kia Sedona and I'm having issues getting it to start. When I turn the key it's almost like a dead battery issue but the battery is new and the terminals have been replaced professionally but I'm still having issues starting it. IDK if it's the starter or alternator but the alternator is new. Battery and alternator have tested as good. It does start right up when I hit the gas a few times. I've read it may be an air intake issue so I'm going to replace that next but any advice would be appreciated.
09 Rhondo. I can't hear my fuel pump cycle intermittently which gives crank no start symptom. Are Rondos known for bad fuel pump relays or fuel pumps or both?
I have a 2008 Kia Sedona. We can't get it to start. I have switched the big black relay box that you showed under the hood. Once I switched that which I believe is the relay ignition the vehicle ran again for another three months and then it stopped working again so we switched that black box again and it worked for about a week and a half to two weeks and now it won't start again. Under the hood you did not discuss the two gray smaller looking relay boxes that are right across from each other but we ended up switching those two by putting them in the other ones respect your place and then the vehicle started to run again and now it won't start again. I am a single mother and I know nothing about vehicles I am just watching UA-cam videos trying to figure this out but it has now cost me a good-paying job because I didn't have transportation to get back and forth to work. Is it my ignition relay that needs to be replaced? The alternator past when I had O'Reilly hook it up to their machine and they said that the starter didn't do anything it didn't pass or didn't fail when they checked it. I'm wondering if I need to replace one of those smaller ignition relays that you didn't discuss under the hood in this video? HELP! We are living in a hotel right now and I need to be able to get a job so that I can pay for the rent here so we don't end up sleeping in this a van that we cannot get running.
Hello. I am having trouble getting my sadona to start. It is not getting any power to the fuel pump. It cranks, but won't turn over. I have been watching videos trying to fix it myself. Could you possibly help me?
My Kia started with not being able to start. So I use the wire to Arc the relay spot and now I get nothing at all just power no turn no nothing. I just replaced today the starter relay and also the alternator. What am I missing?

Hello I have a 2006 Kia Sedona I changed the start relay. I've been having problems with it not starting sometimes it will start sometimes it won't. I even changed the fuse inside of underneath my steering wheel the two little pink boxes that are 30 one is got to do with the anti-lock theft. I need some help if possible if you can give me any advice please and thank you.
I hoping anyone can help me with my issue. Mine doesnt start. Lights, fan, and radio turns on but not the van. I changed rhe starter AND the entire ignition switch. However thw ignition switch (30) keeos blowing out regardless. The inly thing i can think of is maybe theres a wire that us grounding but i have no idea.

Not the battery starter Alternator etc... replay ordered from O'Reilly Auto Parts don't match up car won't start then few days go bye then it starts again, runs for a month then won't start again... then a few days it's starts right up anyone else with this issue or have advice 2008 Kia Sedona v6
Intermittent start is a known issue with the Sedonas. The interlock relay, which is part of the anti-theft system, and integrated into the board ($1200+ to replace) behind the interior fuse panel sticks and prevents ignition. It resets after about 30 minutes. I also found that not using the key fob to lock/unlock minimizes occurrences. Also cycling the key in the door lock multiple times helps to force the relay open. Others report that tapping the pink fuses on the internal fuse panel can help the relay to disengage. I’ve had no luck with that workaround. I’ve also pulled and cleaned all of the fuse connections on the interior fuse panel to increase current to the components. This helped a bit, but using the key in the door lock, instead of the fob, has been the most effective workaround on my 2008 Sedona.

Both low beams went out. Where's the fuse or is there one. We're stumped. Yes we checked the bulbs. Thanks

I would suspect a bad connection at the battery or possibly a failing ignition switch
Would you know where my in line 30 amp fuse would connect?
