    Namaste Carrie - your videos are very helpful in advancing my yoga practice to the next level. I have met you once at NYC BKS Iyengar studio 7 years ago, where I came to one of your evening classes. Continue to enjoy reading Guruji's light on life book which you helped me pick. And now I am using your videos to deepen my practice. Thank you.

    You are godsent. I had been looking for a video which explained the toe movement in chaturanga but had almost no hope I would find it. That movement is so challenging and even though surya namaskar is done so commonly very few people realise how hard it gets by entering this tiny movement and skip it altogether. But I have a question how can you incorporate the same toe movement in the easy version of chaturanga where you bring your knees down first? And question two would be how to move from chaturanga into upward dog in the correct way? Thank you ! You are the best teacher I have ever seen.

      Lisbeth Salander - usually from the Chaturanga1 we first push the hands to lift the shoulders and then swing forward in order to roll the toes, bring the pelvis closer to the hands and curve the spine more

      Not at all, do your investigation to find all the differences. As with pushups, correct technique is important, cause this one of the main postures used dynamically and repetitively in yoga (30 or so every session sums up to a lot in life), probably also could be one of most damaging postures (for shoulders).

  • @vickychau7138

    the pose is wrong.... the elbow should be 90 degree, should drop after the body going more forward

  • @Rosalye

    Why you r oftenly laughing when u r making understand the postures..just like u r making fun of the posture.....i highly object...teacher should be serious when making understand the postures....sorry to say that..

    • @reddog6256
      @reddog6256 2 роки тому

      What's wrong with laughing? Nobody wants to learn from a serious person.
