This is really intresting. I've never been to any yoga lesson, but she seems like superb teacher! EVERY action, every sensation is explained, and with humor. 👍 What I wanted to say, is I did this excercise for fitness. Much faster and without thought. This seems more natural. Less about brute "feel the core burning", more about "feel your body moving". Somehow I think you can do it this way until you are of age without burning you up or stressing your body. Top notch!!
This teaching is so sane. I've taught this in gymnastics, where the body position at 30 degrees with stability is prep for the kip. This slow and precise teaching is so wonderful for teaching nuance, and it's safe. Thank you to the students, too, who are working with such great concentration.

I'm not able to straighten my legs. I feel my lower back and my groins/psoas crunching. And also when I lower the legs - though a bit bend- I feel my tight psoas. Do you have any tips for me?
Then don't straighten your legs, in fact, do nothing that gives pain or irritation. Do what you can, but always listen to your body. Also, there are other exercises you could do first to strengthen your back and such.
