- Hello, friends! This video is an update on my trip home to see my Mom and sister. I stopped at The Village Sampler in St Albans, WV and Cross My Heart in Columbus, Ohio. I have all kinds of goodies to share with you! I hope you enjoy!

Your Rosewood Manor project is GORGEOUS. You must have the patience of a saint to do all that backstitch but I can see it will be totally worth it. I’ve got Emerald Mermaid on the way to my house…along with a few other Miras…my weakness.

You must have been on 315 in Columbus driving past the OSU campus. That huge hospital building has been in progress for years it seems and is lit up like a Xmas tree at night - seems like they will never stop adding floors!

Heidi, I love that project bag you and your mom came up with! First of all, the fabric is just precious, and the size is perfect. But the genius part is the way y’all did the big extra pocket, with the smaller pockets inside. ❤ I don’t use bobbins, so that’s super practical. Thank you for the wonderful comment, Meline! The extra pocket does help keep you from digging around in the bottom for your floss. So far, so good!! As for Felix, if you follow me on IG, you'll see more of him. He's a great lap warmer, but not always happy about being held. So maybe he'll make an appearance someday. I have 2 other cats that aren't so shamelessly needy and could care less that I'm randomly talking to my phone while they nap. 😄 Thank you for watching! I hope to hear from you again sometime!
I just got my Let Freedom Ring chart and am waiting for the fabric! It's a huge piece, but you are definitely making me excited to start. I always order a 3 inch border on my fabric!

I really enjoy your flosstubes. I've been switching my dmc from being wound on the bobbins to floss drops. I find the floss much easier to work with on the drops. 😊I love the beach so just a little jealous of your trip😊 Hope you have a great time. I like the hearts pattern.

I am often in Columbus for Doc visits or driving thru Columbus and I haven't hit Cross My Heart yet, must make it a priority!
It is well worth the visit! I could have spent another hour or so in there. They were very kind and helpful with my linen shopping, especially!
