Thank-you for the music and your kindness and love for your fans. I could still listen to him sing the phonebook. Another fabulous show Thursday 9/16/21 in Indiana!
One of the nicest singers I know...Powerhouse singer and legend in his own right...Very fan friendly... Love all his songs....Thank you for the music Gary...
I'm 69 now and recently came upon these oldies....can't stop listening to u. Love you These were so singable. What's with the accent? I guess at 78 you can't sing like 25, love u anyway
He doesnt have an accent😊 but the way he articulates and forms his words when he sings sometimes on certain words does sound like an accent. If you listen to the same songs from 1969 and look for his appearances on Ralph Emory's show with Jim Glaser, the singer who wrote Woman Woman. I believe that is Nashville Now 1985-1995? Gary has the same sound. I love that voice and attention to singing...you always know what he is singing. It is never sloppy. He was blessed with an incredible beautiful passionate voice that seems to stand the test of time. Check out UA-cam and songs he sang that were not "his" He can sing anything...gospel, blues, pop...we are blessed to have that voice in our lifetime. Just my opinion.
@@kln58cub I agree. He's a class act too. He can sing anyone's songs and sounds almost better than many. His Timepieces album is 90s songs. Foreigner, Journey, Michael Bolton, Air Supply...and more. And he sings so well it's hard to know of it's him or the original artist
@@kln58cub You must be taken by his good looks, because he has no voice left here in 2005 and it is even worse in 2022. He cannot sustain a note too long without warbbling out of control. He was indeed one of the best in his prime. Sometimes you just need to know when to hang it up. Perhaps he needs the money??
DESDE CHILE TENIA UNOS 13AÑOS Y ESCUCHABA A GARY EN LA RADIO Y HOY TENGO LA GRANDIOSA OPORTUNIDAD DE VERLO Y ESCUCHARLO QUE VOZ MAS BELLA CARISMATICO ROMÁNTICO Y DULCE GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR SU MUSICA EN ESTE PAIS TAN LEJANO
Gary always had a superb vibrato, but it’s a little exaggerated here, almost Burt Lahr-ish ala “King of the Forest”! His intonation is still very good. The guy can still sing.
@@duanek6051 if you look at a video done by a guy who breaks down the mechanics of singing...you will see he has always had what sounds like an accent at times. Wings of Pegasus is where the guy is from. Think his name is Fil something. He makes understanding the sounds and mechanics of singing much more interesting than what I endured in school. Maybe we didn't get to listen to the right songs in college! Lol He discusses the song Woman Woman from Gary's performance on Nashville Now I believe. He sang some wonderful other songs on that show too. That "accent sound" comes out sometimes when forming tones, vowel sounds in music so the listener can understand what is sung. Did you ever sing in a choir and the director had you sing an a or I a certain way? It is so the correct vowel sound is heard and doesnt assault the ear. It is really interesting and it made total sense why it sounds like a bit of accent. Gary was an example used in school because he wasn't a sloppy singer. He is more than a singer but a vocalist. He has sung very clearly with proper vocal pronunciation from the beginning.. It is HARD for those of us who just sang in the chorus. We had to learn. People of the mid-west also have a distinct accent. I never knew that until I moved to Utah. People from Minnesota have an accent a little different from Indiana as well. Sorry if I bored you. I took voice lessons decades ago just to sing in the choir and i think the human voice is a remarkable instrument.
What a voice!!!! A true legend!!!
Gary you're always young and healthy,Thankyou for all the wonder songs. You're the best. Please come to Canada❤️
Thank you very much for uploading the video of Gary live. It's a pleasure to listen to Gary in 2023. Greetings from Mexico City.
His voice is marvelous after all these years......such richness!
Sounds better than younger days...no questions!!!
I have 13 years old And I discover this by myself, love this music ❤
You have good choice for music my friend
The most wonderful song ever written.
Thank-you for the music and your kindness and love for your fans. I could still listen to him sing the phonebook. Another fabulous show Thursday 9/16/21 in Indiana!
What a voice!!
Wish I’d known in Indiana.
one thing i regret is never seeing him in concert what a voice got better and better x

gemeyes2 You're right, I spent time with him in the early 90's when I worked on a cruise ship. He is, indeed, an extremely nice person.
I talked to him and his wife after a concert a few years ago, wonderful couple. VERY FAN FRIENDLY 👍❤🤗👏🤝❤

Such a remarkably beautiful voice. God bless and more power to you, Gary!
Still very powerful and this was in 2005 am I right? Rock on Gary Puckett

You're always good Gary!❤️
Saw Gary at Mansfield University (PA) in 1968. I saw him again about 10 years ago. It's apparent he loves what he does.

Luv this great group!😍😍
Gary..the best! Over You🥰
Amo esta canción ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for this!
Absolutely my fav, painful though it is.
Great singing
Gary would turn 63 in 2005, but looking & sounding 33 here. Not too shabby, huh? ❤
The drummer, when the were popular in the late 60s, is my uncle.
Alexa is my daughter, would be her great uncle. My name is Keith Wheatbread.
That is very cool😊
paul reveres buddy....great talent....golden voice
Great voice and a tight band.
May God bless
❤❤❤❤❤
within the prison walls of my mind --- theres still a part of you left behind
Best lyrics of his best song. So damn deep and heartfelt for sure.
He's so pretty.
That's not Union Gap it's only Gary
Appears he works out, runs or both.
No offense intended and I've always loved Gary Pucket but he sure doesn't sound like he did back in the day.
At his age , he sounds phenomenal . Be glad we still have this . In 10 years we will have nothing .
Ya that falcetto sucks
That does not sound like Gary Puckett.
I thought the same thing. Like theres an accent or something. I realize peoples voice can change with age but wow.

@@kln58cub I watched that video too that you are talking about it was awesome and explained his voice so well
It sounds like him 100% but he has changed his vibrato since his early days .
The theatrics we can do away with, and he lost his voice. Too bad.
There comes a time when we have to say, "Goodbye."
They will be saying that about you someday.
Hasn't maintained his voice like some like Johnny Mathis who can sell.out venues at 84 years old.
Oh no, please sing it properly.:(
Too much vibrato. I like it better without it
