Joe, I really like the use of the hairy machines (distortion) on small amounts here and there, It made me feel I’m not alone in this universe of sound we lone wolfs live in! I also love that you use little compression. Now a days I feel compression works against me more than helping… maybe I’m just getting old. Love the video, show me more about Overheads compression please! Have another coffee and two more chocolates, you deserve it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ OUTSTANDING VIDEO! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a whole new direction that Joe has been on over the past month. Previously, his videos seemed to focus more on product showcasing, and “wow, look at what this wonderful new plug-in can do!” Followed by a quick demonstration. But this is something entirely different, and in my opinion, extremely more useful. In this video Joe is demonstrating the specific and exact use of all of the functions on these various modeled products and the types of effects each function will have upon the signal you send into them. I really like the way he has chosen unusual sounds to work with, thus avoiding the problem of many viewers simply copying his settings, hoping to get some great results, but without really understanding what it is, they are doing. Meaning they’re not really in control of the plug-in they’re using” This is going to result in huge leaps of understanding for the typical viewer. Huge leaps. Bravo!! I have never been SO proud of Joe Carroll, of Brainworx, and of the other product developers shown in this video! Again, I think it should be pinned to the top of their educational video sections on all of their sites. *just when I was beginning to question the real usefulness of educational videos about audio software, Joe Carroll comes along with these. Spectacular work Joe! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another fantastic video. Thanks Joe! As hard hitting rock as you make it would be amazing. Very curious to see if you approach that with the same level of delicacy.
@@spiritsoundzlab7636 the KIT a5 has a great API preamp overdrive section. I think it’s the same algorithm as this 212. Any preamp overdrive could do the job though. Most serious plug-in manufacturers have something like that. Thank you for watching!

Any ideas on how to mix two drum kits in a single song?
I've looked everywhere for any hints but no one seems to have any thoughts…
Any alternative to the D212 plugin please?
