You can’t catch it. The “It slumbers peacefully” message is displayed normally after it’s mission is completed when inspected at the shrine of resurrection, and it can’t be picked up and used again. I think this duplicate is an unused item, it’s documented on TCRF, likely some weird testing.
@@TheWither129 I think arrows can still do some damage just not as much as the other is know to be, for example when firing from bow against stone talus they take some damage from it piercing/chipping away bits and pieces especially from links efficient usage behind it, though gorons would be able to tank them more for longer but over the other but link could still hurt and wear one down imo
As someone who has put way too many hrs into this game, it’s incredible how much we still don’t know. The different swim animations and the trident falling out the sky blew me away.
@@Cbrunning849 Man I REALLY love rdr2 but that’s just nonsense lol The game has detail but the lack of so many mechanics (when compared to botw) by extent limits the details it has. It is a very detailed game though, but botw easily takes the cake in this aspect

Something I just noticed today: in the Gerudo Desert, if it gets too hot, standing in the shadow of something will temporarily prevent you from losing health. You can really notice it if you go to the skeleton and weave in and out of the shadows cast by the ribs.
I've played through this game four full times. Twice on the WiiU, one regular mode and one master mode before I got the Switch; then reg and master on Switch and I only knew of maybe half of these. Thank you!
I really thought I know everything from this game, and I’ve been proven wrong time and time again. Especially this one, where the REALLY obscure stuff comes in. You work is always excellent, Rin! and wtf! The champion’s unique dialogue was definitely something I’ve never heard of!
In the masterworks book the developers said in the interviews at the end that they enjoy a lot the videos people post doing a lot of crazy stuff, but also they said that there are many secrets they know people have not discovered yet... I wonder how many of those are still there waiting to be found, this game is GOLD.
About the single red bokoblin in Master Mode, there's also a single red Moblin. His location is in one of the hot springs in the Hebra mountains. He just chills there alone, with no other enemies nearby.
There's also a green Lizalfos in a pond just southwest of Ruto Mountain, a Fire Wizzrobe in Akkala Wilds, an Ice Wizzrobe on the roof of the Forgotten Temple, and an Electric Wizzrobe in Nautelle Wetlands. They put one of each so that players could still get the pics for the compendium.
I wouldn't be surprised if the team just finished the script earlier than expected so the devs went "well, y'all can do what you want with the characters" and that's where the lines came from
@@asmithii84 How what? Same reason everyone is still learning new things about this game, cus there is a lot to learn! 100%ing it has nothing to do w that.
I don't know what's harder for me to believe - that there are this many secrets in BOTW, or that IT HAS REALLY BEEN 4 YEARS since BOTW came out!! As I didn't already feel old enough.
For the last one, you can also push any movable object with a magnesised weapon if you are also pushing it with link, this also works with just a metal boomerang without link
Honestly, I didn't expect to learn anything new. But surprisingly I didn't know at least a quarter of these. The one with the one hit obliterator caught me off guard.
I was sceptical if it was real, but it is. There's no way a developer made the One-Hit Obliterator spawn in the sky without a reason. It strangely doesn't have any collision too, it just falls through the ground.
I went and I tried to get it but I couldn’t find it? Does it fall silently even if you don’t see it or does it have to be in Link’s eyeline when he looks up?
@@megmackay6772 If you look up when teleporting there and wait for a minute or so, you should start to see it falling down. Also, I think it only works if you've finished the champions ballad.
@@megmackay6772 It doesn't make any impact either, it just falls straight through the ground. You have to press some button at the exact moment to get the dialog.
You can actually hit that cupid cherub in the maze, just not damage it. Hitting it with a normal weapon just causes it to fly away but hit it with a leaf gust, and it spins around and drops its bow before flying off.
@@listentothinlizzy1685 I know exactly what you mean, I wouldn't be mad, if they still announced that they still need time. I want a perfect game, so I'm willing to wait. Haha we don't want Cyperpunk 2077 2.0. I have a question, what do you mean with final game?
The tips of the One Hit Obliterator are the heads of the divine beasts, I’m sure this is already known by a lot but I just thought it was a small but really cool detail
You can sort of control guardians, they're programed to back away from Link. So if you get on their head stand next to the edge opposite of where you want to go, and the guardian will start walking.
@GameSpot my personal favorite is cheesing the Eventide Island quest. Your inventory gets emptied, but if you go into the menu right as you reach the island (before the event actually begins) you can drop any weapons, items, and equipment you want. Then once the quest starts, pick them up and abuse the local enemies with ancient gear. You just have to make sure to drop the stuff again before completing the quest, or it'll disappear when the rest of your inventory gets restored.
I remember learning this because I wasn't good at the game yet, so I kept failing it, and I ended up getting so frustrated that I was like "you know what? screw this" and just started dumping all my gear into the sea. still felt bad tho
Having 1000 hours in the game, some of these come naturally through playing long enough, you start to notice the advantages or hidden mechanics I.e. ducking hinox or using the castle walls as defenses, although I didn’t know about the spin attack in Edin. This is amazing!
I knew some of them, but it amazes me that 5 years after the release, people are still finding things that were unknown to the majority of players. Insane.
@@LilCheesyBean I swear when Monster Hunter Rise came out, people were playing that for like 100 hours a week. By that logic, it would only take them 90 weeks or about a year and a half to get 9000 hours
Fun fact: if you stasis the guardian on Jia Highlands without attacking or anything, most of the time it'll just fall through the floor. From my experience you have to be on the hill on the opposite side of the guardian from angel peak, but idk if it'll work elsewhere. Update: it works on most (If not all) guardian stalkers that stay still untill you get close. Not sure why, but it's useful if you can't be bothered to fight
I've watched so many of these types of videos and have at least 12 days played in the game and there was still so much I didn't know. It's crazy how in depth this game is
@@kirin1230 my game clock says 325 hours. I’ve no shame in admitting to using a guide for the korok seeds. Probably would’ve taken me a lot longer had I not, lol.
I was literally.... JUST wondering on my previous video if the "DON'T YOU DARE READ IT" was actually part of the game. I thought it was an edit. I can't believe it. I love Nintendo
This just goes to show you how much detail the devs really put into this gem. I especially like the Korok Rock location hint. That saves me time in yellow vision looking for the things
She actually apologizes after shouting but I'm not sure why didn't she want for Link to read it. Also it was too late because dorephan told me that I could read it so I did.
Fun Fact about master mode, since every every enemy is advanced by one level, there aren't the easy red moblin, bokoblins, or green lizalfos. However, there's one of each of these easy enemies somewhere in the map. As displayed by the red bokoblin. I recall seeing a green lizalfos in a pond in the Zora region.
It’s so that you can still fill the album with all the enemies in the game! There is the lowest level of each enemy in master mode, but only one of each.
I found a glitch where the water isn’t patched up in Rassla Lake and you can stand and run underwater, it’s pretty fun :0 Also with most of the korok puzzles where rocks are missing, you can use stasis to easily find a rock nearby if it’s hard to see where they are
I thought I was a total BOTW nerd and knew everything about it, but I only knew 13 out of 48 things in this video! Now I'm gonna show everything new I learned to all my friends.
I knew about 70% of these but the ones I didn’t know were pretty interesting. I didn’t know about the second weak spot of the guardians, but that doesn’t surprise me because they scare me and i shoot them from afar.

You can’t catch it. The “It slumbers peacefully” message is displayed normally after it’s mission is completed when inspected at the shrine of resurrection, and it can’t be picked up and used again. I think this duplicate is an unused item, it’s documented on TCRF, likely some weird testing.
Something I noticed about the bomb thing is that most Gorons will put up a fighting stance to arrows but quiver in fear from bombs.
Because you use bombs to blow up ores!
arrows will bounce right off them but bombs break rocks real quick
Volcano flashbacks
Nooooo!!! 😱😭😭😭 That's news to me and it sounds so.... nooooooooo!!!! D:
@@TheWither129 I think arrows can still do some damage just not as much as the other is know to be, for example when firing from bow against stone talus they take some damage from it piercing/chipping away bits and pieces especially from links efficient usage behind it, though gorons would be able to tank them more for longer but over the other but link could still hurt and wear one down imo
As someone who has put way too many hrs into this game, it’s incredible how much we still don’t know. The different swim animations and the trident falling out the sky blew me away.
This Game Has The Most Attention To Detail, I’ve Ever Seen

@@Cbrunning849 Man I REALLY love rdr2 but that’s just nonsense lol
The game has detail but the lack of so many mechanics (when compared to botw) by extent limits the details it has.

It also prevents ice from melting, such as during the sidequest that has you fetch a block of ice from the storehouse in the desert.
4 years, 1 month, 27 days ago and this game keeps giving
Nintendo truly did make another Masterpiece.
This game is relevant eternally
I've played through this game four full times. Twice on the WiiU, one regular mode and one master mode before I got the Switch; then reg and master on Switch and I only knew of maybe half of these. Thank you!

The legend
I really thought I know everything from this game, and I’ve been proven wrong time and time again. Especially this one, where the REALLY obscure stuff comes in. You work is always excellent, Rin!
and wtf! The champion’s unique dialogue was definitely something I’ve never heard of!
I said it then and I'll say it now:
"Holy sh*t I didn't know I could do that"
THE GAME
In the masterworks book the developers said in the interviews at the end that they enjoy a lot the videos people post doing a lot of crazy stuff, but also they said that there are many secrets they know people have not discovered yet... I wonder how many of those are still there waiting to be found, this game is GOLD.
7:53 Woah, Mipha, I did not know you were capable of yelling.
3:49 I pulled out my switch, tried this, and was very surprised to see that it did in fact happen
About the single red bokoblin in Master Mode, there's also a single red Moblin. His location is in one of the hot springs in the Hebra mountains. He just chills there alone, with no other enemies nearby.
They probably did that to allow players to get a photo of every mob without having to buy anything
I found a Lizalfos below Vah Ruta's laser charging spot
There's also a green Lizalfos in a pond just southwest of Ruto Mountain, a Fire Wizzrobe in Akkala Wilds, an Ice Wizzrobe on the roof of the Forgotten Temple, and an Electric Wizzrobe in Nautelle Wetlands. They put one of each so that players could still get the pics for the compendium.
Imagine that you voice acting a champion and then when the game is released nobody finds out about the secret dialogues...
I wouldn't be surprised if the team just finished the script earlier than expected so the devs went "well, y'all can do what you want with the characters" and that's where the lines came from

You can actually hit that cupid cherub in the maze, just not damage it. Hitting it with a normal weapon just causes it to fly away but hit it with a leaf gust, and it spins around and drops its bow before flying off.

Insane.
I can not imagine how people found out some of these

Fun fact: if you stasis the guardian on Jia Highlands without attacking or anything, most of the time it'll just fall through the floor. From my experience you have to be on the hill on the opposite side of the guardian from angel peak, but idk if it'll work elsewhere.
Update: it works on most (If not all) guardian stalkers that stay still untill you get close. Not sure why, but it's useful if you can't be bothered to fight
