Therein lies the beauty of Breath of the wild. You can do whatever you like! The objective is right there! You can simply go there, or explore the vast world of Hyrule and help everyone.
I feel that these quests really help bring variety and life into Hyrule. Hopefully, we'll get lots of new and interesting side quests in Tears of the Kingdom like these.
I'm sure we will. I mean it's shown we can fight by the common folk's side against the rising tide of darkness and with the ability to even fuse vehicles together that NPCs will get inside of I'm sure there will be a lot of creative quests.
The Stolen Herloom side quest is also where you can get a Wind Cleaver Blade early on in the game. During the battle with the Yiga Blademaster, just make sure the final hit is one where you throw your current weapon at him. This will ensure that the Blademaster drops his weapon, however...you have roughly 1 or 2 seconds to run and pick up the Wind Cleaver before the Blademaster can disappear along with it! Since possessing a Wind Cleaver is part of another side quest in Heteno Village, this allows you to get one BEFORE defeating Yiga Master Koga.
I would definitely have to say that "Misko, the Great Bandit" was my favorite side quest. I loved having to figure out the riddle and it was so exciting to find the cave at the source of the little river. Not to mention the great number of gemstones, hearty truffles, and of course the Flameblade. I think this is just so awesome because at this point in the game, you should be heading toward Kakariko Village to talk with Impa, which is very early, and the fact that you have access to a one-handed 24 attack power weapon is just awesome to me.
@@kedz9752 yep. Though it does lead to one of the the more fun boss fights, that "stealth" grind through the Yiga base is irritating and possibly the only mission in botw that I would never want to play again (and yet you do sorta have to if you want to complete the champions ballad DLC quest)
Personally: I have a few different picks: Akkad’s ancient tech lab, the sand/snow boot quests, the labyrinths, Naydra, thunder helm. Kakariko heirloom, from the ground up, gerudo seceret club, xenoblade 2 gear, Zora armor side quests. They provide the best rewards of any side quest in the game by far.
I feel like the side quests in this game were not that good compared to Majoras Mask. Most side quests gave you bad rewards. Tarrey Town is my favourite though
Fun Fact : All Horses in BOTW are tamed by the amount of times you soothed it, not a stamina bar. I'm pretty sure its possible to tame a Giant Horse with the base stamina wheel, if it isn't I know at least just upgrading the stamina bar once would allow it to be guaranteed possible.
A data transfer from your save file on BOTW to TOK would be genius. They should have alluded to this early on to make people go back and finish up stuff in BOTW probably would also increase DLC sales of that game. Even simple things like NPC interactions would be fun
It's heavily implied the Zonai built them, but their names are Lomei Labyrinth Island, South Lomei Labyrinth, and North Lomei Labyrinth. I have no idea why though haha. Zonai seems like the better/more obvious choice.

Yeah so I didn't come across hardly any of these; I just wanted to beat the game & be done with it - I can't even remember how you expand Link's health

Tears of the Kingdom coming next month.
Honestly it feels like these “side quests” were my main quest, and the “main quest” turned into a side quest lol sorry Zelda!
Haha true that
I was thinking the same thing!
Yo i watch ur stuff! How was Tarrey Town?
cringe
@@metalpianomusic5635 it was good my dude 👍🏻
10:03 Even Link cant help but clap at how beautiful the wedding & the town are. I think that's a nice touch
They are the prefect couple

The wedding will always bring a smile and a tear to my eye. Even with all of the evil in Hyrule, we can still have happy moments like this
The tarrey town wedding felt like a fitting celebration before riding off to face Ganon

IMO . Saving Naydra is more epic than fighting Calamity Ganon . 😁✌🏻😊
Because it is fighting calamity ganon
okay the fact that i haven't done a single one of these except the labryinths. This is so exciting.

Kass' quests + Recital at Warbler's Nest were easily my favorite
The main game was like a huge side quest
Can you still explore the world and do quest after finishing the main story?
@@09SkyFrost I'm currently doing that now.
I really enjoyed those side quests where to have to take a photo to of the Lord of the Mountain and a Bluepee.
Flower blight is the hardest side quest in the game.
If I could recommend any quest as something to start as early as possible, it would be "From the ground up".
Everything is great except on that stealth mission on those banana lover enemies 😂
Makes it worse that it was actually a main quest and not an optional one
@@aneeshhgkar ohh yeah for the freaking helmet right 😂

You can murder them all though. If is very satisfying

you forgot luminous stone gathering it gives two diamonds for 10 luminous stones it is so good
My favorite quest was definitely to build Link's own house and i littary had directly all materials to end the quest while first seeing it
You guys think I should start another play thru before next month?
do it
8:34, correction any key item will not be tooken away. This includes the champion powers!
A successors side quest will be perfect for Tears of the Kingdom!
3:20 buy snow boots? He just gave me another quest to get them....
The spring of wisdom is my #1
Aside from the intro portion and Hyrule castle, you could argue everything is a side quest.
2:40 I got a couple buddies who do the “eighth of Heroin” Side quest
The eighth *heroin*
THE.
WHAT.
1:32 it’s possible to take the giant horse with 1 and 1/5th stamina wheels
0:05 I felt this moment
The Thunderhelm was my favorite side quest.
Tears of the Kingdom coming next month.
I'm replaying this masterpiece before the Tears of the Kingdom
I feel like the side quests in this game were not that good compared to Majoras Mask. Most side quests gave you bad rewards. Tarrey Town is my favourite though
Agree on both points
Breath of the wild desperately needed more side quests.
And less fetch quests
75-90 SideQuests is a lot. Did you not enjoy them?
@@ericthericeman1990 they were awful.
@@ericthericeman1990 most them were generic fetch quests and the vast majority rewarded you with useless consumables
2:40 and that is the quest which must of doujins uses as main plot
I named my giant horse Burtha
Witcher 3 next
Flowers in the top 10. Are you high Watchmojo 😆 It's among the worst, not the best...
It’s not too bad, as long as you have wood and something to light it to create an updraft and cheese it. Take that, Flowerblight.
Me who has done all the side quests(other than the trial of the sword): 😮
The leviathan was in the totk trailer
If Tarrey Time isn’t on this list…

The WORST thing about the game was not being able to redo the side quests
Is it just me or did anyone else get annoyed by the background song, specially the lady going uuuaaa uaaaa uuuaa uuuaa uuaaaa
I ponder if having this quest done in BOTW affects TOTK in someway
A data transfer from your save file on BOTW to TOK would be genius. They should have alluded to this early on to make people go back and finish up stuff in BOTW probably would also increase DLC sales of that game. Even simple things like NPC interactions would be fun
I'm so glad I didn't play this game because I need one that holds my hand.
Botw holds your hand plenty
I always thought it was zonai labyrinths
It's heavily implied the Zonai built them, but their names are Lomei Labyrinth Island, South Lomei Labyrinth, and North Lomei Labyrinth. I have no idea why though haha. Zonai seems like the better/more obvious choice.
What’s wolf link
I feel like the main story was a side quest tbh
I like Zelda.
What about the side quest, Hylean home owner? You literally get your own house, and you can display your weapons, shelds, and bows.
should be side quests not shrine quests
:)

more like the only good side quests...finding 10 crickets was the reason I stopped playing this garbage

as someone who put in 200 hours before ganon...yep
