Actually, both the Champion's Leathers and the Champion's Tunic let you fire sword beams without full health, even without being upgraded. The only thing upgrading them does is increase their defence.
There's a blue slate written by Prince Sidon in Zora's Domain where he repeatedly compares Yona to his sister. Apparently Yona is quite a bit older and ended up saving his life when he was small. He even goes as far as to write "As a child, I had two big sisters" referring to Mipha and Yona. And it ends with him saying these thoughts are "may too dear and private to commit to history" when he finds out Yona is destined to be his wife. SUS
1. There are many caves in totk, but some of them have actually hidden rooms. For example, next to one of hot springs in Hebra, you can find a cave, that has a randomly standing rock. If you move it, you'll see a tunnel that leads to room full of shrooms and other useful stuff. In fact, there are multiple caves that contain such prizes for careful players. 2. Totk, just like other Zelda games has an amazing structure of NPC's reactions. Developers has put so much detail in those conversations, that even when Link helps Hoz fight at the Hyrule Field with monsters, and uses ONLY earthquake mannual, Hoz will comment on Link's strange way of fighting.
Link can also lure out a Molduga by throwing anything on the ground near their vicinity (like an apple, a spicy pepper, or single light bulb seed). It's a great way to use an item that you may have hundreds of.
Riju's lightning also has the advantage of being able to be more precisely aimed than Yonubu or bombs. And it hits *exactly* where the arrow hits. So if you've carved out a section in bombable rocks, you can use Riju's lightning to blast deeper into the pile than you might otherwise could, and the blast seems to be bigger than bomb explosions (it also doesn't hurt you, and can be used in superheated areas)

8:08 you can also use them to increase the damage that your lasers do. Attach a laser to a tracking head and then let loose some bees. It goes crazy and does an insane amount of damage
It’s doesn’t even feel like this game came out this year. This year has been packed with so many great games. I remember how addicted I was when this came out.
I actually didn't know construct horns could be used as currency. 11:50 Beware of the people named "Traveler". Zonai vehicles kind of make horses obsolete. 14:46 What is in those chests?
I noticed that certain animals are important in totk. Frogs are notable, because of bubbulfrogs & the froggy set. But so are owls, as the glide set is based off them. Mineru has an owl mask & it's 1 of the symbols for the zonai. It appears on the zonaite belt buckle. Finally dragons are quite symbolic. I feel that's much more apparent so I won't get into examples here
Well said! I also noted that the voices that spoke at the three Lomei labyrinths referred to themselves as the ruler of dragons, boars, and owls. I thought that was an interesting touch. I was wondering if it was a reference to the Triforce -- owls are often portrayed as wise and Ganon often takes the form of a boar when he goes Dark Beast mode, but I don't know how dragons would fit that motif. So I may be reading into it wrong there.
@@c.k.mcknight8921it ties into the zonai interpretations of the triforce. Even back in botw before we knew anything at all about the zonai, if you looked around where zonai architecture exists, there are statues of owls and dragons
The Yiga's bait bananas can be claimed unscorched if you shoot them with an arrow, which allows you to claim them even if your meal slots are full. Also, if your meal slots are full, some meal rewards will be replaced by a red rupee. Addison and some of the citizens in conflict behave this way.
So I’ve had totk for a while and i did not know until today that you are supposed to use charges in the zonai dispensers, I’ve been using horns the whole time ;-;
Actually I believe the clip at 7:19 demonstrates that. His armor goes down upon equipping it, and since it has the highest defense of any armor piece when fully upgraded, it could not have been maxed there.
Pretty irrelavent but I found this one out while running from a bunch of gloom hands: When you aggravate them (that is to say, when they spot you) and the world turns red, certain NPCs will have a special dialogue on the change of the sky and go hysterical with fear. Happened with me a few times now , the first time was by accident because I kept button mashing while running
It’s not the same thing. With a spear or boomerang you can re-fuse the same hover stone to the weapon and use it repeatedly. Shooting a hover stone with an arrow is a 1-time use and will always pull a hover stone from your inventory. The spear method is great for Addison signs and you just need a single one.
Arrow + Hoverstone is great for taking pictures of the dragons. Jumping off a dragon, gliding ahead, and dropping a platform means I can take much better Compendium pictures of the game's dragons than the ones I get from the ground or sky islands.
The Wizzrobes summoning monsters was also in BOTW. They can summon Chuchus, Keese, and I think also Lizalfos. I wouldn't call it a secret because it already was an ability in the previous game before the sequel came out.
@@TheCommenterrr Of course because it's not a common used attack. Confronting them and then waiting for a while and they will eventually summon a monster. I just had it happen to me yesterday.
the Champion's Tunic and the Leathers one is incorrect. You don't need to upgrade the armor to make the beams work even at not full health. It works as soon as you get either shirt. Now if you meant without using durability then I have no idea about that
I’m sure most people have noticed this but On the Great Plateau, where the old man/king was first seen in BotW, there’s a Yiga disguised as Zelda. Also, the fabric for the image of the parasail from BotW is found in the steeple of the Temple of Time which is where the old man gives you the parasail in Breath.
9:33 moldugas can be killed easily if you have a five shot Lynel bow equipped. While in bullet time just pepper it with bombs and it will be defeated before hitting the ground 👍🏻
@@Davidvibez that’s correct. I on the other hand found a way to get more or less eternal bomb flowers. Kill a battle talus after has thrown off his guards, kill it. Then save, and reload that save.
