The Best of Frank Costanza
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 лис 2024
- The ultimate collection of Frank Costanza's greatest hits....as played by Jerry Stiller, from the classic TV show Seinfeld.
This montage contains clips from the entire series and shows George Costanza's father Frank at his very best. From Festivus, to Serenity Now! and everything in between.
Jerry Stiller is one of the most underrated actors. Him in Seinfeld & King of Queens is nothing short of comedy gold.
B. D. Agreed
i agree! these show would not been the same without him.
What would the show be without him? I just love him.
It's gold, Jerry. Gold!
His son is kinda filling the void of his dad being underrated, then son:Ben Stiller
I love how George seems like this impossibly neurotic character at first, like, you think to yourself that there's no way a person could be this anxious in real life... And then you're introduced to his parents and George's character makes perfect sense.
If I had those parents, I would have been George Costanza.
It’s weird how George looks normal and sane next to his parents but makes perfect sense 😂😂
My father-in-law is exactly like Frank.
As well as several co-workers...
@@neurocidesakiwi Jealous 😂
"As I rained blows upon him" is one of the best lines in TV history.
THe casual violence at Xmas time
breaks my ribs from laughing
or "Somethings missing alright...." ROFL
Yes! It's almost dizzying the lack of transition between "but so did another man" and "as I rained blows upon him" followed by the thoughtful reflection that "there had to be another way".
"Like a Phoenix rising out of Arizona" is another great one lol.
I love how Frank has a day set aside in which he let's everybody know how they've dissappointed him, as though he doesn't already do that every day.
🤣 hilarious observation!!
He just wants to make absolutely sure everybody knows how disappointed he is in them, so once a year he invites them over to let them have it.
Those are just notes and rough drafts. Festivus is the day for planned and prepared attacks/remarks!
Festivus, for the rest of us
Frank's screaming is absolutely hilarious.
Serenity now!!! lol
You want a piece of me? YOU GOT IT!!!!
your bed is too small?! Im gone 2 weeks and ya turn our house into... INTO BOURBON STREET?!!!!!!!!!!!
SO LET HIM HAVE BANANAS ON THE SIDE!!!!
HOOCHIE MAMA! HOOCHIE MAMA!
“this guy………. this is not my kinda guy” is so perfectly delivered. frank will always be my favorite character
Asian dialects are notoriously hard to translate
They missed my favorite frank line "Jerry, it's frank costanza, George is dead! Call me back, bye."
What the hell did you trade Jay Buner for?
Yes, it's mine too. My goodness, just thinking of that line makes me laugh out loud.
😂😂
chloenkitty
Oh shit. That was a good one
Oh yeah, that's a good one, I remember 😉👍.💯
"SO LET HIM HAVE BANANAS ON THE SIDE!!!" that line still cracks me up
THE best line
This was my first time seeing that clip and im in tears laughing!
haha! Me too!
This is one of my favorite lines besides the backstory of Festivus.
i was gasping for air and in tears on the floor when i first heard it 😃
Estelle Harris played his wife...these two were the PITCH PERFECT actors to play George's parents!!!!
Absolutely
Stephen Albertson so so true!!!
Shakespeare couldn’t have put it any better.
It explains a lot of why George is like he is.
yes
I don't think I've ever seen such flawless casting elsewhere. Jerry Stiller and Estelle Harris were borh PERFECT as George's parents. They pulled off the old bitter married couple so well! Hard to believe that they had other partners in real life. The fact that they both physically resembled George was just the icing on the cake.
100% yes.
Agreed, but I wouldn’t say that they were bitter; they were familiar and comfortable 💯😎
Casting!
I love that George is theoretically dead and all Frank cares about is the way Steinbrenner is running the Yankees.
LOL, that really was the beauty of that scene. The fact that Buhner was traded away was a LOT higher on Frank's list of concerns that day :)
Lawrence Dockery
Even in the finale when Steinbrenner was on the stand. "You have Hideki Irabu $12 million dollars!!!"
Best Frank scene ever. And he looks so dejected and mournful before talking to Steinbrenner too.😂😂😂😂. Classic.
And the voicemail he left on Jerry's machine: "Jerry it's Frank Costanza, Mr. Steinbrenner's here, George is dead, call me back."
"So you're moving there out of spite?"
"Absolutely!"
No one tells Frank Costanza what to do!
i love how everything to do with frank is an escalation hes so funny
Mike Holland I don’t get how the actors who shared scenes with Jerry Stiller could possibly hold it together when he was acting!
LOL!! i wish I could have made that "escalation" comment. perfection
I loved that he would start off normal, but THEN, as the conversation PROGRESSED, he would get LOUDER AND LOUDER AND BY THE END OF IT HE WOULD JUST SCREAM EVERYTHING
@@luislima3476 it worked perfectly
The actress that played Frank Costanza‘s wife, Estelle Harris, passed away yesterday April 2, 2022 at the age of 93! Rest in peace Estelle now you are once again with Jerry Stiller! ❤️❤️❤️
Along with Anne Meara(Jerry's real wife) and Don Rickles(Mr. Potato Head from Toy Story)
I was unaware that Estelle had passed. Always thought she was an adorable mother type.
R.I.P. Estelle.
ben stiller is funny but his father is a freakin genius
degas5000 Ben Stiller funny? That's a good one
@@themostinterestingmaninthe7446 He made Tropic Thunder which is a hilarious movie, so yeah Ben Stiller is funny
Fearless 512 I agree, Tropic Thunder was pretty funny
@@ajet0452 Robert Downey Jr made that film funny, not Stiller.
@@alcovitch Well he directed, co-wrote the screenplay and the story. So, I am going to make reasonable assumption that he had something to do with with that movie being funny.
I just adore Jerry Stiller's delivery. He might have the funniest delivery of any comedic actor. The way he fumbles his lines, like he legit forgets the lines as he reads 'em, is hilarious. His mannerisms, his screaming, his accent... he's all over the place. His personality explains so well why George's turned out the way he has. Stiller was genuinely born to play this role.
An old friend of mine told me she shared an elevator with Jerry Stiller in a hospital - he goes there and brings pizza to people to cheer them up out of the kindness of his own heart.
Jerry Stiller was also really good in King of Queens. But in Seinfeld he is the bomb.
You mean to tell me he never brought the metal pole to any of his hospital visits? I find pizza distracting ; )
He probably couldn't be that type of person in real life unless he was able to portray the Frank Costanza character on Seinfeld.
Artofficial That's someone who gets what life is about
Geoff Dearth There's no reason it couldn't go either way, and there's no way for you to know.
Jason Alexander came up with the idea of Frank smacking George's forehead. At first Jerry Stiller didn't want to do it, but when he finally agreed to do it, it was pure comedic gold!
actually the original actor for frank did the forehead smack thing and then jason alexancder told jerry stiller to do the same
one of the funniest characters in tv history
He and his wife should have had a spin off
+baby sy Watch King of queens
"Reeking of soup and bourbon!" Arthur Spooner is the best.
Arthur Spooner was another great character!
indeed
The way he delivers the "I stopped short" bit always cracks me up.
Stiller did a great job at Frank Costanza. I don't think anyone else could have come close as George's father. I saw an interview with him saying the character was supposed to be meek and quiet, but he broke character one day, started yelling, and the rest is hilarious history.
honestly, hire Jerry Stiller and just let him act
Actually George’s dad was played by someone completely different in the beginning, but they recast same with Jerry’s dad I’m pretty sure
@@thebandboy I think the guy’s name was John Randolph
Frank was the best character on the show. The sudden yelling gets me every time. "DE - LIVER IT TO..HER!". It can't be explained, and I think that's why I love it.
So funny😂
No other actor could have played this character better than Jerry Stiller! Uncle Leo was quite a character as well.
UberDurable that was the key to Seinfeld’s success, all the supporting cast was absolutely spot on casting. Best comedy show ever
They originally had the dad from Christmas vacation as frank but they switched to jerry stiller
Hellooooo
@@edyoung4450 best choice ever
Uncle Leo’s eyebrows
Frank Costanza may be the greatest character ever in sitcom history. Simply brilliant. RIP Mr. Stiller.
"As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way!"
Mike Rennie It's brilliant.
Easily one of my favorite lines from the show. EASILY.
Mike Rennie Must have been one hell of a doll.
i can drop u like a bag of dirt
“That must of been some doll”
“She was”
not only does this show hold up, I dont remember it being this good. the acting is unmatched
It's better with age lol
Jerry cant act. Jason is best then Wayne knight.
Don't forget Estelle, she was brilliant, and togther with Frank made the greatest married couple in comedy history. IMHO.
I completely agree.
Agreed
They reminded me of my parents lmaooooo
The best thing about those two is you could seriously believe George would be their son. Everything odd about George is right there. Props to the geniuses who cast Harris, Stiller & Alexander.
2nd place goes to Jackie Gleason and Audrey Meadows.
His voice on the phone made me laugh when he calls Jerrys dad. "This. Is. Frank. Costanza." 😆
"SERENITY NOW!!!!
You're supposed to yell it?
"The man on the tape wasnt specific..."
Insanity later!
😂😂😂
Frank Costanza was truly one of a kind. We will never see the likes of him again and we are the lesser for it.
Totally 👍 agree.he was hillarious in king of queens
Frank Costanza is one of the greatest television characters EVER!!
You mean Arthur Spooner? He is the same lame "Yelling Man" is all he does! Obnoxious as all hell
Why didn't his son Ben Stiller appear on Seinfeld? There should have been an episode guest starring them both, Jerry & Ben Stiller
@@guypeate3628 didn’t his parents do enough for him? Lol. Not everyone is that lucky. He’s doing ok.
Frank Costanza, Al Bundy, Frank Barone and James Evans are my favorites. 😁
Loud mouth
R.I.P. JERRY STILLER. A TRUE COMEDIC GENIUS FOR ALL THE AGES
The blooper reel from his fight w/ Elaine is unbelievable. He never laughed once
I think the fact that he left us wanting more is part of the genius.
@@luisceja6443 I TOTALLY AGREE
"I wasn't born in this country. Thats why I can never be president... THEY DONT WANT ME I DONT WANT THEM!!"
Best line ever-I was going to post it but you beat me to it. I was hoping that this scene was included, but it wasn't.
RIP Jerry Stiller. Frank Constanza will live forever.
JERRY STILLER WILL BE 90 HIS NEXT BIRTHDAY.GOD BLESS THIS FUNNY MAN.
Almost made it
@@CalvinHikes He did make it, he's now 92.
@@orbison Now the world is a little less funny without him :(.. may he rest in peace
Frank and Estelle were two of the best characters I can think of on tv. This whole cast is great but they were wonderful.
One thing I dislike about Seinfeld is that Frank didn't get enough screentime. He was the funniest character on the show.
Benny Young Too much time on screen would have numbed us to his over the top performance. He had the perfect amount of screen time.
Wasn’t the funniest but close
youre right....its the same as King of Queens.....he was perfect in that one too....and came in at all the right times
Benny Forthwith Only the four main characters get regular screen time. The supporting actors get the screen time for the story.
@@thetruth2509 agree 100%. Nothing worse than a character (or an actor, The Rock for example) being overdone.

This is Frank Costanza! You think you can keep us out of Florida? We're moving in lock, stock, and barrel. We're gonna be in the pool. We're gonna be in the clubhouse! We're gonna be all over that shuffleboard court! AND I DARE YOU TO KEEP ME OUT!!
beani24329
I red that remembering the voice.
NO ONE TELLS FRANK COSTANZA WHAT TO DO!
We're gonna be in the pool. Gonna be in the clubhouse. Gonna be all over that shuffleboard court, and I dare you to keep us out!!!
Such a troublemaker, lol
Any episode with Frank and Estelle is pure gold!!
Thinks his son is dead, asks about a shitty baseball trade.
This is just one of the many reasons why Frank Costanza is the greatest character in Seinfeld.
Morty: "Helllo?"
Frank: "This...is Frank COStanza"
Morty: "What do ya want?!?!"
Frank: "You think ya can keep us out of Florida?! We're moving in lock stock &
barrel. We're gonna be in the poooool, we're gonna be in the club house, we're
gonna be all OVER that scuffle board court!!! And I dare you to KEEP ME OUT!"
His barely contained rage is hysterical.
"This guy...this is not my kinda guy"
Buddy Rich
Thats the only part i was looking for XD
My fav line
I think Jerry actually forgot his line and just winged it.
You cut out the punch-line of the first-clip where the man says "They're all chickens, the rooster has sex with them all" to which Frank replies "that's perverse!"
He is worth his weight in gold. You can tell he's just a naturally funny guy. Awesome contribution to the world.
My love for this show runs very deep. I will never tire if it, it makes me laugh over and over again.
Would you believe when I was 18 I had a sssssssssilver dollar collection? lol
I could never get myself to spend one of these, I got some kind of aaaaaaaaaaa phobia.
RIP Jerry Stiller! You left us TONS of entertainment!
Why’d you put the bananas in there?
George likes the bananas!
SO LET HIM HAVE BANANAS ON THE SIDE!
Frank Costanza as played by Comedy Genius. ❤❤❤As was the ENTIRE CAST - comedy perfection. Brilliant!!!
Frank deserved his own series
Hope you found eternal “Serenity now” in heaven Jerry Stiller.
This character/performance was absolutely perfect.
Jerry Stiller is quite possibly the funniest person who ever lived. I've seen all of these scenes dozens and dozens of times but I still die laughing every time.
The costanza family of 3 might be the greatest casting in a television show of all time.
This man was incredible. Puts a smile on my face everytime, picks me up when im down.
This guy is absolutely hilarious. I always became a little more interested when his character would appear on the show. Comedic genius.
His delivery is unmatched
when Frank slaps George in the forehead... that has to be the most hilarious! lol
yeah, he does it so naturally.
my dad use to do that to me when I was a child. aaah the memories
The best comedy parents in history of media! They were perfect and matched each other’s energies! Couldn’t have perfect parents for George Costanza!
1:14 I love how Estelle is increasingly frightened and how she starts to cringe when Frank goes beserk. Stillers ability to go from 0 to 10 on the angrily/frustration scale (over nothing!) in a second is amazing. The entire Costanza family fits so well together and all of them complement eachother in an incredible way. Such an epic sitcom (about nothing!).
Frank is so popular because every father has their Frank Costanza moments!
"We're gonna be in the pool.....we're gonna be in the CLUBhouse...." so funny the way he closes his eyes with the joy of serving up his spite.
LMAO I just got an ad for the calm app midway through the video😂😂😂 SERENITY NOW!!
his hand gestures make it perfect
"i have no eye for fashion?!" and the body shaking hahahah. his parent were comedy gods in this show
YOU'RE NOT GIVING AWAY OUR WATERPIK!
YA WANNA BET?! SERENITY NOW SERENITY NOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Serenity Now!
HOOCHIE MAMA!
@Stimulator7 who actually played in an episode of Seinfeld. George took her on a date bc her mom worked for unemployment department.
The creak of the chair when Frank starts talking about cup sizes just kills me every time
Missed my favourite:
"I am like the Phoenix! Rising from Arizona!"
Electricshrock Hahaha that’s my favorite line from Frank too 😂
Jerry Stiller is Absolutely Brilliant! I Love and will Always Love That Wonderfully Fascinating and Hysterically Funny Show Seinfeld ❤😂!
I've been working out with a dumbbell...I feel vigorous!
Jerry Stiller is known to be a kind man. As well as a comic genius.
It's Festivus for the rest of us!
My favorite saying!
My favourite character in a show of amazing characters. Love to the outtakes of these scenes. 😅
I love the Costanza's ( all of them )
Bryce Thibodeaux I based my whole life on knowing the D's the biggest!!
To me Frank is by far the funniest character on the show
... As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
Best 😂
So glad you got that one
Underrated joke for sure.
This man is a genius!!
"This is Frank Costanza. ...You think you can keep us out of Florida? Well, we're moving-in lock, stock, and barrel. ...We're gonna be in the pool; we're gonna be in clubhouse; we're gonna be all-over that shuffleboard court!"
"And I dare you to keep me out!"
0:39 Fucking LOVE Estelle’s furious “I HAVE NO EYE FOR FASHION?!?!” 😂😂😂 Looks like she would just absolutely slaughter Frank for accusing her of that! 😂😂😂😂
Thank you Jerry Stiller (Frank Constanza, Arthur Spooner) for sharing your gift with the world. May you Rest In Peace and find your serenity now! 😆💙😆💙
5:06 DE-LIV-ER-IT-TO
The way he delivers that line gets me every time.
Jerry Stiller is a classic. Perfect casting.
Jerry Seinfeld did a great job choosing his cast and Frank Costanza really fires it up
Jerry's "you want a piece of me" quip cracked Julia up so much, they had to repeat that take dozens of times just to wrap the scene without her laughing. The take that appears in the episode is actually the "least funny" of the lot; Jerry's delivery in the other ones was simply too funny for Julia to play against.
Yeah that was a great scene.
These are the parents who are absolutely hilarious to watch on tv but are an absolute hell to have irl
You couldn't smooth a silk sheet if ya' had a hot date with a babe...........!
I lost my train of thought...
Brilliant comedic actor. Love him! There has been none other like him. So talented and believable.
I am not kidding when I say this. I had a good friend growing up that had a dad that both looked and acted like Frank. He was always screaming and was always miserable. He was an Armenian immigrant and overreacted to everything. LOL.
LittleBigKid707b probably not as funny in real life lol
He will live immortally because of that shout!!!!
Your son is dead...
Frank: What the hell did you trade Jay Buhner for!?! XD
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
"I got a FFFFFFFFOOTodor problem." Was my favorite line from him.
"I could drop you like a bag of dirt." Elaine's stare; classic.
Love Frank's discussion and teaching on the cups!!
Jerry Stiller was one of a kind ... his rants were pop-culture gold ..... hopefully he's found "Serenity now!"
Love Jerry Stiller! One of the best comedians ever...rip and thanks for the memories!
Jerry Stiller is superb comedian and Frank was the perfect character for him. He gave us some of the greatest comedy to ever come out of the USA - SERENITY NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely hilarious, don’t understand why ppl dislike this video let alone over 200. I will never understand ppl.
"I will not tolerate infestation!"
You left out the best part of Serenity Now, where George goes "Are you supposed to yell it?" and Frank says "The tape wasn't specific."
