- While every subject that sits for you is and should be treated as an individual, there are certain "standards of beauty" that can help guide the lighting of your subject.
Join Daniel Norton OnSet as he shows you how to create masculine and feminine lighting as well as how and why to use them on various subjects including how using the "wrong" lighting can produce amazing results.

This is a chemistry that you can't buy. I love watching the coloration and seeing the shots develop. Photography is supposed to be fun and creative in my eyes and you guys just nail it. Thank you for the years of videos, learning and laughs in this space. I do hope you can continue with this format.
Jamie Bradshaw thanks!!
Looking forward to whatever comes next. Thank you for all of these.
Thanks, Daniel, Marisa, Andreas, Seth, and Adorama! As always, lots of interesting details when you start to improvise, and I especially enjoy the results when models get into the "play" mode. Looking forward to future streams, wherever you do them!
I found a great use for your black frame at home. I pause your video and I can see all of the smudge marks on my screen I need to clean. Thank you. Great fun video. Marisa looking up and her hands folded as if she was praying is outstanding.
Great informative video and always entertaining
Really fun to watch this session! 👍
Sad to see this event space go, but like everything else... Things change. Looking forward to keep adding to my knowledge from masters like Seth and Dan plus adding and upgrading gear at Aodorama.
End of an era! Beginning of something new & exciting :)
That was great everyone. Can't wait to see what's next.
Dave Poulin 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💥
Great video guys, gals and Daniel you were good as well. Good so see Marisa back to her normal happy playful self. Love the humor and joking around as well it works and makes for an informative and memorable video.
All the best, enjoyed all the videos! Looking forward to what you guys come up with next!
very timely. needed this.
Rembrandt lighting on the first shot 😲
A great way to end this run!
I was looking forward to Daniel's Valentines day special, "Single Light for Single People".
Robert Futrell Might still happen!
Great!! Thank you!
I haven't had a chance to watch this entire video in case they explained it, but I can't imagine what this particular space could be used for that is more useful than these very good photo sessions.
Better not be just some damn Sony display of some kind.
would be great, of you put links to the equipment you use, in the description, so people can buy it :)
Cool shots!
23:53 Those C-stand arm should tighten with light weight, now it untightens... But you put many efforts to tighten =))) 43:10 & 48:35 is proper way
Daniel any chance you could show us how to do lighting setups for a mysterious lingerie type photo shoot with Marisa where one doesn't have an entire studio at their disposal ie limited space such as a bedroom maybe or lounge area.
Is there any ways to see RAW or Jpeg results of this photoshoot?
Marisa looks great even outta focus..sigh
Hold up, Daniel you don't know what latkes are?!
Seth 🙄
