And also invest more and pay more attention on the paring of cables, power supplies, isolations and so on. The higher end system is more sensitive so that requires better accessories

@@jeffriver9715 Danish Audio design has a lot of reviews saying they are good but nothing more that... another where the sound was bad, another where their dac was horrible and had no impact, another where the smaller speaker sounded faster than the big one (obviously this is an amp problem ) and a last one from munich where it was a good sound but it just didn't stand out. Analog domain is good but its integrated (22k euros) was beaten by a Parasound amp (999 dollars), for the price it's just ridiculous. A 250w stereo Pilium amp filled a medium-large room using a YG hailey which is a small speaker, your 2000w Analog Domain Artemis couldn't fill a medium room using a pair of Tidal Contrivas which are much larger and ported than a YG Hailey... I just think your comment is just trashtalking.

The guy moved to a much bigger room where his Tidal could breathe better. Then several of his colleagues recommended FM. Trashtalking. The room had everything to produce punchy bass from the last octave. There was none of that. He even started thinking about adding subwoofers. Did you just see what you answered? Not powerful enough. My speakers and room require hundreds of watts that double down into 1ohm loads. Ideally a Boulder 3060 or something

You've heard both the Boulder 3060 and the Piliums in otherwise exactly the same system? Was this at a dealer who only swapped the pre/power amps?

I think the 3060 is more than powerful enough for me :)
