Yes, I built the green panel myself. It’s a wooden frame with acoustic panels glued against it, wrapped in a velvety fabric.

No that would be too much. More damping is not always better. My reverberation times are just nice now

You could but I use Tidal (via Roon)
On the one hand, the room and gear is unreal awesome. On the other hand, it's kind of sad that you're sitting that close to speakers that size to get them to sound right. A pair of Kef R3's, a 1k amp and a decent DAC w/ DSP and/or room correction would blow this out of the water at that distance. Buy room correction software, it will work. And don't let your installer leave until you're happy!

No complaints, I rarely play very loud. In my new place I’m on the first floor. So the amount of neighbours has been cut in half
That integrated amp has 200 watts at 8 ohm. Gryphon Essence monos have 55 watts at 8 ohm. Still, I suppose Essence monos are better at driving power hungry speakers?
Yes, because they are monoblocks with a 1350W transformer each

best sound engineers agree that true ribbons are so far the best tweeters we have. yet, focal continues with metallic domes. why? I guess ribbons look dont appeal to older audiophiles and thats the true reason so many producers are affraid to use them or AMTs. only new producers use them. Old ones: Focal, Wilson, AudioNote? Nah
If you can not find good in these beautiful Focals and system he has, then visit doctor. You have some real life frustrations…
are these better than goldmund or Nola grand reference with ribbons and alnico midranges?
At this point it’s all personal preference.

The reverberation times are just fine. They came down a lot after all the acoustic treatment already.
just a question about the speaker size: when they give you the size that is with the base? because usually speaker base/support is the bigger one.

Focal UE is the best sounding speaker in the world! It outperforms even the most expensive ones.
Great setup. Currently, I have the Maestro Utopia III in my family room. My speakers are pulled out 6 ft from front wall. I use a VAC tube preamp and Pass 260.8 monos. I also have added REL subs to the two corners for optimal bass. Question: if you test (you can play audio test tones on Tidal, for example), is your base response (30Hz, 40Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz test tones) flat in your room with the speakers where they are?
Buy a JL Gotham and their active crossover CR-1. Thanks me later.

what is your opinion on Puritan 156 mains filter? Can you confidently hook power amps there? Your gear is top notch matched
I’m very happy with it. Can easily use it for power amplifiers without checking the power
