I found this searching for tool QC post reviews and this pretty much decides me I want the wedge-style dovetail tool post. many ppl say stay away from the aluminum ones I see, and this decides me. thanks for sharing!
In the mean time I've bought the 0XA tool post and no, the Jinwen holders do not fit the 0XA, the dovetail slot in the 0XA holders are much wider and deeper I will try to convert them with a 60 degree dovetail cutter. (I have about 12 of them..)
Its not just the OXA, its the Dovetail style OXA/AXA/BXA tool posts. I use an AXA on my lathe and I am very happy with it.
Bruno M. Thank you and i am as well

No problem i had nothing but problems with the aluminum ones that's what made me switch to the dove tail ones
I want to upgrade from a Jinwen to a 0XA too, do the aluminium tool holders fit on the 0XA toolpost?

Thanks for the review, Question Will the tool adapter from the aluminum fit on the AXA post or is the dovetail incomparable Cheers J
It won't fit you would have to make a fixture for the lathe to cut the new dove tail or use a mill to cut the new dove tail
Truly you are a words worth of the english language.
