Picturing a Wigglytuff doing a Mega Kick on a flying Pokemon is hilariously absurd. XD You watch it hop, float up to the target and boop it lightly with its foot then lightly bounce up, yet somehow the target gets kicked through a wall. Also, the zoom in on Diglett's sprite was so weird because there's an obvious split where the top section of its body is clearly off to the side, like it just lost a fight with a Zacian.
Brock went for Bind and not Rock Tomb because the AI sees Rock Tomb as a speed control move and is unlikely to pick it if you’re slower, even if it’s the more logical move. I also don’t think he saw a kill since you were +3 defense.
Gaslight... I don't think that means what you think it means Or You are referring to the Brock from gen one and then I agree. A gen 3 Brock is vastly different though.
Huh I didn't see that. That being said I disagree with that being valid for a hardcore nuzlocke. The Butterfree was actually a level higher than it should have been. Especially because of the build up I figured he would go with a typical hardcore nuzlocke (with the additional rules he added). This states that even within the leader fight if the Pokemon goes above the highest level of the strongest Pokemon for the leader it becomes unusable. So the way the fight was done, and to each their own, it was super easy. The way it is done by all hardcore nuzlockers I watch, is not a valid strat for Brock. It is learned at a level too late. I do suppose I also didn't even specify that I was referring to hardcore nuzlockes. I hope I cleared it up for you. Butterfree is broken in the early game hands down. Doesn't particularly matter which game. Edit added: Due to the comments below it seems weird to me that giving a Pokemon access to a move they would not have had at the start of the fight that can add a strategy to your arsenal (assuming that they are at the appointed top level at the start) is totally fine. To each their own, you have fun with your run it is yours not mine. As long as you are having fun I approve.
Yeah, when Flying or Bouncing: Gust, Twister, Thunder, and Hurricane deal double damage. Thunder CAN still miss in the air, which makes no sense though.
You could write a good story about that Goldeen/Seaking... I'm thinking about a Swiss singer, who had to find themselves, and won Eurovision with a song about figuring out that they were Non-Binary.
Really fun video! I feel like with some more prep that e4 run could have gone much better, loading yoom tag up with all the gamba tms+psychic would have given it some much nicer coverage, and going back for leftovers(if you had enough encounters, I didn't really count) would probably have let it grind through a lot, but it'd be neat to see a run at another one!
I'm here to defend Mega TTar, there is definitely a decision on timing when playing in any sort of Weather war. Often times, its best to wait to Mega-evolve on a turn where the weather has changed and you can suddenly take control back.
I usually name my Pokemon something really dumb something similar to what I've been naming them for years or something like human names that start with the first letter of their name
I named my Pikachu in my first gen 6 playthrough Steve and every time I played the super training minigame with Pikachu and the bottom text just said Steve, it felt like a pointless 2016 meme
Since it’s a nuzlocke you can only get one encounter per area or route. Eevee was your Celedon city encounter as the free gift pokemon and evolved in to flareon. Then pinsir shouldn’t be able to be bought from the game corner right?? Or am I missing something?
hey don't poop on Jigglypuff it evolves into wigglytuff which is a normal type and while I don't like normal types they tend to be pretty good move coverage for TMS
I used to play yugioh a lot before the pandemic and still watch a yugioh video here and there. I also play a ton of card games but mainly Pokemon and One Piece at the moment
That is the reason, yeah. Although I think Shadow Ball Flareon is the best Sabrina counter after Snorlax and Hypno so that counts for something I suppose
I always thought squirtle was best for gen 3. Ice, water and dark are special and the squirt turt gets access to moves of all 3 types. Also quite a tank in addition to decent special attack
@@bvd_vlvd in a way yes. But it depends on play style. Offensively the Bulbasuar line doesn't do so good. Having few good poison moves in that gen and maybe 4 or 5 grass moves aside from frenzy plant and solar beam to choose from. So for someone who wants to be able to deal damage quickly AND have coverage then squirtle is the way to go. So much so that speed runners almost always opt for it as it helps far more with later gyms and the e4 than the other 2. For you, maybe bulbasuar is the best. But for casual and speedrunners it's Squirtle. Hands down.
Man I love your videos so much and I really enjoy watching your nuzlock attempts but I gotta say... You're so bad at them 😂 I'm so sorry. Good luck on your next one though. RIP Yoom-Tah, the real OG

Diglett is the coolest thing to happen to this run
Gotta say, I’m loving the stream commentary over an actual script! It makes the chaos far more entertaining to watch
"Yoom Tah", good name. Named the Jigglypuff after Guildmaster Wigglytuff's catchphrase

I like how you are trying to gaslight us in saying that playing the early/mid game with Butterfree is difficult
Fr... When I was a kid I trained a Butterfree to wipe away Brock with confusion because metal claw didn't exist in Pokémon Red
Butterfree was one of my strongest troopers in the elite 4 lmaoo
Gaslight...

Also sky uppercut but I don't think it's in fr/lg
@@flynnhunter416 Sky uppercut is in this game. Hitmonchan learns it and I think Bruno hitmonchan knows it too.
The thing that makes me saddest about these runs is trying to hit Horn Drill without using items in battle.
25:30 khengeskan wakes up early because he has the early bird ability
2:38 I gave a lil snort of laughter and immediately got called out. XD
Came here expecting to be entertained. But didn't think I'd learn who founded Taco Bell... thank you Papa
Old school raywillamjohnson (=3) transition and sound effect I fucking love the nostalgia from that ❤
The Casinopolis music from SA1 while in the game corner was a nice touch
Absolutely love the mystery dungeon reference! Also would love to see this done in other games could be a new format of playing them
The most fun way possible for a long time fan that wants a challenge imo
Random memory unlocked. I forgot gust hits while youre flying. And sky uppercut.
Eevee is a fox! I will always believe that
I thought it was a squirrel...
At least according to the russian pokedex
I love that you use Persona and Sonic Adventure music. Find guides for those games just so you can play those soundtracks.
If your chicken nuggets look like Diglett, I think you need to do your shopping elsewhere
Just sharing info, Mankey can be caught on route 22, was the only valid encounter on the route and wrecks Brock.
Beedrill defeating Alakazam was a massive dub for the Bug Type 🫡
You could write a good story about that Goldeen/Seaking...
I'm thinking about a Swiss singer, who had to find themselves, and won Eurovision with a song about figuring out that they were Non-Binary.
Only Magikarp can be caught with an old rod.
Iirc I think I remember tentacool being available with old rod but it was the rare encounter. I'd have to look it up to be sure though
love seeing your content evolve, always a joy to watch after a long day of work. Keep up the good work PaPaSea!
edging a beedrill, punding a rat..... this guy goes wild ^^

I suppose Papasea cheating is truly the most masochistic thing to do because he has to suffer the comments now.
I haven’t watched you in about 6 months… due to depression and being a binge watcher, but the facial hair looks great!
I know hurricane hits an opponent in the air when they’re using fly. It’s similar to gust and I’ve seen it hit.
Twister hits Pokémon during fly, too, and it does double damage. Fun fact. :)
is that persona music in the beginning or am i insane
What a great team to the end. I hope you enjoy these types of challenges even after this.

I mean Wigglytuff is a guild master, of course it would carry 💪🏽
I love how ya show your face on your newer vids now. Its great :D
the reason I always liked Butterfree better is because Butterfree uses the powder moves and Butterfree can learn confusion
I’m pretty sure watching someone do this kinda run is the definition of sadism lol but good stuff brother, keep up the good work 👍
Why does he keep saying evolve when he means level up?
After you said you used a generic name and typed in St, I was thinking you were about to name Beedrill Steve. I don’t know why though.
Also the founder of Taco Bell died in 2010, at 86 years old. Taco….😢
I named my Pikachu in my first gen 6 playthrough Steve and every time I played the super training minigame with Pikachu and the bottom text just said Steve, it felt like a pointless 2016 meme
Nuzlocke, but Purplecliffe makes every decision.
fun fact: 23 out of 37 (23/37) is a ridiculously good approximation for the conversion rate between km/h and mph.
I did not click on this video expecting this level of disrespect for my man Butterfree smh
You're SO close to 200K, LET'S GOOO
15:10 I think the Eeveelutions are Foxcats, or maybe Catfoxes.
Wigglytuff is an underrated pokemon, much better than people give it credit for
Okay, you’ve personally regained my attention.
Nugget is actually a great name for diglett. It just works
I thought this was a trashelock but this seems a bit less miserable

Yoom Tah MVP for real though
Eevee is btw neither based on a cat nor dog but on a "tanuki" :)
How about a run where you do no new moves meaning your stuck with the fist four on any mon you catch
Kangaskhan has Early Bird, btw.
my favorite part is at 14:32 I was LOL’ing so hard!
Magi kary is the only encounter with that rod
Caught a paras, refuse to support any paras activity, too much ptsd from pmd
