- Thank you for joining me on this build. The moment we have all been waiting for has arrived. The final reveal of Revell's 1/25 scale 1959 Ford Galaxie. Before the reveal, I'll discuss the issues this particular kit presented. I'll point out the journey described for the build, Then, the reveal. This kit, through its many challenges, turned into a beautiful build. The MCW paints are extraordinary, the Green Stuff World Chrome excellent. And once again, STS Scale Model Decals license plates were exactly what I was looking for. Thank you to everyone who joined me on this build.

That’s a great kit! I built it many years ago. I want to build it again. Love your car! Beautiful colors!
You did a beautiful job! Love the colors!
Thank you! I am very pleased I chose those colors. It just seems to really say 1959.
Yep, STS is the best!! 👍🙂
The '59 turned out great!!! 😉👍
Thank you, I really appreciate that.
@@hishershhq4247 👍👍
Beautiful build my friend that is a VERY TUFF KIT so congrats on finishing it.....that's one I would never try building
Thank you, sir. I really appreciate that.
Thank you for letting me know about this kit. I hate it that this build got to you and things was not fitting after you test it out first . Have a great week my friend 🤠🤠👍😎😎
You're welcome, Mr. Chambers. It was a beast till the end. But she still turned out real pretty.
GALAXI turned out to be a cool build 👍 green white 2tone nice job
Thank you, Keith. I really appreciate that.
Mate she looks awesome 😊😊😊😊 couldn't have picked a better colour 👍👍👍👍have a good one mate
Thank you, my Aussie friend. I really appreciate it.
It turned out nice
I really appreciate it. Thank you!
Great looking build
Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
Nice work in a pretty difficult kit. You achieved great results.
Thank you very much. I agree, it was a difficult kit. In the end though, I think it worked out.
That came out well, Eric. I wish you’d have shown the interior. I wanted to get a look at your scratch built heater. Looks good, though.
Thank you! I will show the interior during the short video showing the roof working.
Looks great man! I built that kit when I was a kid, and remember that multi piece body being difficult, I also built the ‘57 ranchero with the standard height roof, that was right before Revell decided to chop the top on the kit
Thank you. I too had a Ranchero. Can't remember the manufacturer. But I did have it, with the standard height roof. I remember painting mine 2tone Red over Blue. Don't remember why, but I do remember that.
The Galaxie turned out really nice Eric! That chrome paint stays soft for almost a month it seems, I've used the Molotow pen and I'd think it's not too different from what you used. It will be nice when we can see the rest of the car and you can handle it to raise and lower the roof. Yep, I can see this one at the pier in Santa Monica in my mind!
Thank you, Steve. I will do a short video in a month or so, showcasing the working roof and interior. Again, thank you for all the info too. You were really helpful.
Despite the fact that this is a Ford Galaxy, I think you should call it "Christine."😉
I know, right? She gave me fits every step of the way. But she does finally come together beautifully.
I was hoping to see the top go down into the trunk.
I will be doing a short video of that soon.
The bit of piano at the beginning sounds like Erik Satie, "Gymnopedie". Please tell me if I am correct.
Not actually sure. I have a love of classical music and my son picked it. Like, it sounds familiar, but couldn't actually tell you.
That looks really great. I noticed a lot of Ohio plates, are you in Ohio?
Thank you, David. I really appreciate that. Actually, I'm in the middle of Missouri. Almost exactly middle...lol!
@@hishershhq4247 well I was kinda hoping I would have a new close friend, lol. I'll still be watching, you do nice work.
@@davidparsleyscustomscaleemerge Thank you, David. I really appreciate that. Hope you're not like me here. I don't think there is maybe one other person in my area. I think there is another UA-camr here in MO. Red Barn Models. I think he's somewhere here in MO. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I'd have to travel to meet any of the other modelers.
@@hishershhq4247 I met a guy on my same street last year believe it or not. There are a few around.
@@davidparsleyscustomscaleemerge I talked to a few myself...just at the store, thirty-minutes from here...LOL! But it's cool. I share my stuff and tips, ideas, inspirations with everyone on UA-cam, Facebook and now Tic-Tok. It's fun spreading the hobby. Either with those already doing it, or with someone completely new to the hobby.
Final reveal - - figures at 8:02 - - actual vehicle 21:01 ........ there is WAAAYYY too much monotonous babbling. Get to the point - it is the reason people view the video.
Yes, your build has turned out good - but you carry-on far, far too long. You may gain subscribers if you stop with the inane talking. Just hit the highlights and move on !
I very much appreciate the feedback. My kids have been telling me I talk too much for years. I will work on it in future videos. Thank you!
This could've been a 20 min. video.
I appreciate the feedback. My kids agree and I will be working on that in future videos.
@@hishershhq4247 no, no, no, please do not listen to that fool, make your video of your content as short or as LONG as YOU seem fit, I enjoyed this very much and wish that it was longer. Thank you and again please don't listen to the hobby bozos that like to comment and criticize but never ever have a channel of thier own. Thank you.
@@JonnyHolms The only bozo here is a guy named Jeffro. By the way it's spelled their, you fool.
Nice effort, but PLEASE get your dialog in mind before you start filming. The hesitations and stammering are really annoying. Please… just get it said.
Thank you for the feedback. I will be working on that in future videos.
@@hishershhq4247 , I just wish ole Grumpy was perfect!
Gee, David… nothing ‘grumpy’ about it.
I would think that the host would like his viewers to watch the whole presentation instead of turning away a few minutes in.
This venue/media competes with all the others, doesn’t it? I’d like for his presentation to be as nice as his model. The hobby and his modeling talents deserve it.
