That lady missed Jerry's point. He wasn't saying his comedy wasn't working, he's still selling out theaters. He's saying working people can't go home after work and enjoy comedy on TV anymore.
If you look at some of the things that made the Seinfeld sitcom so popular, you could easily see why it wouldn't be made today. Take for example the woman with "man-hands". That would be body shaming, and possibly transphobic, according to many leftists today. The issues with the episodes are on top of the fact that it wouldn't be casted the same either. An entire straight white cast just isn't done today.
Don't forget the episode where Jerry gave that woman wine and turkey so he could (literally) play with her toys.

But that he’s rich, powerful and, in your view, unfunny, doesn’t pertain to the truths he’s uttered. That you respond this way speaks volumes for truths you can’t handle.

Earlier in the show, they covered Colin Jost's milquetoast, unfunny performance at the correspondence dinner, then they have this segment claiming that Jerry Seinfeld is wrong in his contention that comedians aren't as funny anymore because of the far left and political correctness. They didn't even see this connection within their own show: that maybe Jost didn't rip into Biden (very fertile ground for many funny jokes) because he is the left's favored candidate for president and those hilarious jokes would make Biden look bad, damaging his election chances. Seinfeld is right.
