As someone with the D13, I agree with your points. The part that makes me not like it the most is the bass (lack of texture) and how narrow the soundstage is. It sounds very in your head. The treble part doesn't bother me as much but I do like it to have a bit more sparkle. I still like it but not as much as compared to my Kato.
I appreciate your honest opinions. Our listening opinions on IEMs usually align. I have been considering letshouer S12 for a very long time. I think I just decided to get that based on this review.
Hey timmy already ordered the 7hz zeros , would this song : a song played by the stars , sound good on it? I am pretty skeptical , I can buy any other iem under 50 , can yu suggest anything else?
I had a listen since the first comment a while back but haven't had the chance to answer your comment. For $50 that's the best this song can sound. The only other option I would say Ola but it's overall not as versatile as the Zero. Better bang for buck is Zero.

I recently got an S12 and I love it so far, I've been using planar over ears for long, and couldn't seem to find an IEM I liked. Until I got the S12, I guess I just prefer planars. These things with a pair of UTWS3's to use them wireless are so nice for on the go use. That said, I'll have to wait until the honeymoon phase wears off to properly gauge if it's my type of IEM.

And it passes my mud test in Daft Punk Da Funk, where you can hear the echo of the room where they recorded the drums, even with the bass notes. Overall, I'm impressed that something in this pricepoint can be so good.

what do you think of eqing the s12? i am interested in the transient detail and deeper bass extension with big planar drivers, but i do prefer a warm, deep sub bassy sound with still balanced mids and highs, but nothing where i can find it harsh. i am curious after watching many reviews, what kinda problems that eqing can fix for my tone taste, and if its just worth to get a darker, bass/mid focused IEM that naturally sounds like that. i produce music for 10 years, and love my hd58x which sound similiar in tone to hd 6xx which ive also tried. i love the tone of the 58x overall, but as an IEM i would want more fullness in the sub bass withuot it overtaking the mids or muddying anything feeling like its too piercing for my ears as i am a bit sensitive to it
@@fiddlix Deppends of ear tips, i use the moondrop spring tips on my Timeless = Less mid bass, less treble. My favorite tip of Timeless out of box it's the green tips = less treble with bass.

Hey giz i bought the raptgo hook x for gaming and i use a zen dac v2 with power match on(high gain) and gunshots seem high/sharp,, some say qc issue and some say eq or tune, do u have any advice or info that can help? Debating on exchanging in case its a defect

I have the same experience! I'm normally very treble sensitive but with the S12 it's not bad. I think it's the region the treble is elevated, it avoids the common fatigue area just enough. Though I still have to mention what I had mentioned in the video just in case.

The D13 seem to graph really close to the mele.. with slight eq-ing one could easily make the transformation.. love the mele s relaxing nature brw

The S12 grew on me over time. It's very unique sounding with the overwhelming treble that's not as fatiquing prone as many others.

I use them with the UTWS3, to make them wireless.

My daily driver too the S12. I am very treble sensitive but for some reason I find the S12 easier to tolerate than the Timeless.

Honestly you can't get the exact same tuning to the S12, it's unique in a way. Upgrade detail wise we have many options, depends on your preferences
