Nice to see Timmy again on the channel, no offense to the other guys who do great work of course, but Timmy is the guy who got me into this channel and who keeps me coming back.
There was some mic plugged in because we heard the audio. The audio wasn't horrible, it was just different. It sounded like you were in a hollow room though. lol
You really got me checking my soundcard settings through the first part of the video, the mic issues was disturbing XD. The sounds on that 1st mic was way better with a EQ settings taming the 1k region however so if you encounter the same problem a audio edit in audacity should fix it quick. Also are you going to try the Estrella iem ? It will be useful to know if there is large tuning variation through the units of that set.
hmm, that's weird, I did buy the kinera wyvern and they sounded ok to me, not bassy at all, maybe I'm used to a different type of bass but overall to me sounded neutral-ish, kind of like the wan'er, i did gift them and the people who used them did not complain at all about them
@@scorpioassmodeusgtx1811 But that sort of freq curve wouldn't sound neutral at all. Both the mids and bass would be really messed up. Takes me back to the single balanced armature days and how crappy those sounded.
It is true that Crin's 2020 target is pretty bass light which he changed with his 2023 target, as for why Timmy isn't using the 2023 target I don't know
@@occasionalart7597 The 2020 target is essentially flat and it could be understood well by most people I think. I have learnt to appreciate the 2020 target and now I can't live without it lol. The amount of bass is just right for me and it makes the mids and treble shine brighter.
I literally just wrote this for someone here asking for 20 dollar iems. Im just repasting for you. Its about my journey. I'm new to this entire scene, so forgive me. I've been looking for a good natural sounding iem with bass for music. For the price points I've seen, iems start at the 20 dollar mark and go from 20 to 50 to 100 to 200 to 500 to endgame. The iems I've seen for what I wanted were the 20 dollar cca cra, the 50 dollar moondrop aria, the 200 dollar moondrop kato, the more expensive moondrop variations, and endgame sony z1r that's 2000 or something. I ordered the kato and they'll arrive tomorrow and I'm excited. If you want less than 20, I have no recommendation as I haven't ventured into the bracket. I almost got the cca cra because they said that for bass and sound for the ammount you spend, they're worth it. I chose kato so it'd be a night and day difference from my 10 dollar sony earbuds from Walmart, and I planned on a one and done. I don't suggest blindly getting the cca cra. I recommend looking at videos that will give examples of that a audiophile talks about. What does warm and cold sound like, what do different frequencies sound like, that does muddy sound like, ect. I did this to hear examples for myself. Cca cra were on my radar for my needs. Movies use bass for the booms also so they may be what you're looking for also. Idk. But do your research of what the words that audiophiles use sound like, check out comparisons of cca cra to other iems in the 20 dollar bracket, then make your decision. I hope you get some good ones friend!

Also keep in mind that good iems would also need good audio files (no pun intended) I'm talking about high bitrate from quality sources. 320kbps mp3, 250 kbps aac m4a, flac or alac (all as examples) in order to get the best experience from an iem. A poor quality song will sound poor no matter what. You can get high quality songs and movies from Apple, Amazon, spotify, ect. Just so you're aware. If the movie wasn't sounding good it doesn't always mean that the iems are at fault. You get what I'm saying? Sure you do!

Yeah, it's a Timmy signature. Just the right length and the content is on point and all you need to hear. 👌

for a second i thought my iems sound lifeless

Celest releasing new designs for its budget iems, and each looks so good
Not the biggest channel but THE BEST FOR SURE !!!!!!
I like humorous Timmy 😅
What happened to the mic quality?

Xenns Tea Pro
Review the Delci AE pleeeeaasse
Why is you target freq response a straight line from 20Hz to 1kHz? That would sound very basslight.
It looks like the Crinacle 2020 target, which was just meant to be a baseline for neutral.
@@scorpioassmodeusgtx1811 But that sort of freq curve wouldn't sound neutral at all. Both the mids and bass would be really messed up. Takes me back to the single balanced armature days and how crappy those sounded.
It's just a target and the bass has degrees of freedom. Nothing should match it.

Will you be reviewing the Shuoer S08, S12 2024, S15, Cadenza 4 since you adore the original S12?
Delci AE is the best of the bunch. But I like the design of the Que.
It's kinera wyvern (ching) my man
Hey Dave! Do you accept suggestions? Topping DX9 and Douk with akm and ess at the same time
Timmy is the freakin man

Unlimited choices, pluses and minutes to each item. What is the optimal iem that meets all the requirements.
Depends on the individual.

Need you to made a review on buds 3 pro timmy. Pls 😅
Is orivetti od200 a good choice at $110?
that qing = "ching"
Can you do another gaming IEMs for 2024, pleaseeeeee
Dudu
I kinda have high hopes for Dudu💀
0:50I agree. So I changed the cables to TRI Grace Pro. The vocals came forward and the sound was more balanced.
I highly doubt that cable is gonna change the vocals to any noticeable degree, as is so with about every cable
No Oracle Mr3?
Why would they name them "doodoo" 😭
WHAT ABOUT KZ IEM BRAND? Let say The Castor Black.
hahahahahaha
Skipdidudu

It is mentioned at the box, and even in the video. Its AngelEars
Which iem Under 30 dollar is best?
