I got one of these about 6 months ago. I got it because i think it looks really good. However, ive only worn it about 3 times, mine isn't the carbon version though. I find it very difficult to buckle up, and i think the drop down visor isn't tinted enough. Might try it again soon, but for now, its back to my trusty hrc lid. 👍👍
I think it's a great looking lid. I forgot to say I fell the sun visor doesn't drop down enough, I'd like it down another 10mm. As you can tell I'm more disappointed at the amount of mutilation I've had to do just to make it comfy. If I could have Shoei level interior, it would be a belter lid
I must admit it really does look a nice helmet and would match my 750gs well 😉 I think it may have been an LS2 brand that could have swayed me away from my Neotech2 last year. As it's my first lid I went for those comfy slippers. Most of my milage is slower commuting so a modular for my spectacles was a go-to. Their Air3 could be on my list as a future touring lid. I must've tried on 100 different lids in 3x shops and Shoei won me twice. Absolutely no hotspots. Shame about LS2 build but they are half the price for a reason I suppose. I agree 100% lids must be tried on. We look forward to watching your touring vids in the future, 'both of us'🤣🤣 That must've been a 🥶 brew after 32 mins 😂
🤣 🤣 🤣 It was freezing 🤢. But I had to keep composed. Good spot.. I hope it came across that I actually love the lid, the interior and amount of mutilation I had to do to make it fit is the letdown.. I think I said it in the vid that it's like they spent all the budget on the shell and run out on the liner.. Cost do have to be cut somwhere at this price point
Can the cheek pads be thinned out? Like are they made of lots of layers you can remove like arai? I tried one on in store and need a small, but my cheeks are nearly squashed up my nose!
The cheek pads are really thin. A lot thinner than a Shoei. This might be as I wear a Large size. Again I will say that while the padding feels quite thin compared with other more expensive brands. I have just done 3300 mile around Europe (videos are in the pipeline) and the helmet never felt uncomfortable.
You could have made a 10min video by not going over what's in your head and what thinking and what you had previously. Your 1st 10mins is just a video killer and I left without knowing what LS2 is about. I'll find out from other straight forward UA-cam videos....been a real waste of my time !!!!
@@Dexadventure01 thanks for your feedback 👍🏻 a wee tip for ya... If a video review of a helmet is 33mins long. This would suggest to me there is a lot of talking and not the kind of 5min direct points review you seem to be after.. 🤷♂️
