Good video!. Did you use Active Track 360? from where to where? I am curious about how you set up the ActiveTrack. Trace or Parallel mode?, as this does not look track from behind. You never touched the remote control! Also seems that from time to time you are looking at the control screen to check if the drone follows you. I swish DJI has at some point a GPS Beacon like Skydio used to have.
@@muerdelavida Thanks for stopping by.. I am not sure of the names, but the way I did it was draw around me this then gave me a couple of options. AUTO OR PARALLEL.(also think there was a 3rd option of POI) I chose Auto. Then I just set off and the drone did the rest. I never touch the screen while riding and I did look down a few times as this was the 1st time I had used it and was checking yes if it was still following me.
@@buckymoto1784 You did it awesome! Thanks for the explanation.
@@muerdelavida YW
What was the issue in the end? Fully fixed now?
@@lambo2817 it was the Throttle potentiometer. I purchased a set of oem heated grips which fixed the issue. Bike running like a dream now.
That's really great. How does that drone work? Do you control it? Or just program to circle around you?
@@glennmorganfilms The pro 4 has proximity sensors around it which is supposed to sense it's environment. Imagine a 20ft bubble around the drone.. This is the drone on full Autonomy mode. It decides what it wants to do. Once I select myself on the controller screen and choose which tracking I want, then I'm just riding along and it does it's own thing.

Own a v85tt 2021 Centenario . I thought due to it's simplicity that here would be no issues . How wrong was i. Ongoing and still have an issue of surging on rpm on idle that guzzi refused acknowledge or to fix , which i believe is a crank position sensor gap that needs to be changed with the stator for the generator Then the issue with signals not working somehow water got into the circuit and fried it needed to be replaced . End bolts on my handle bar holding the crash guard decided to fall out after the first month . My most recent issue is a total wire harness change out on a 3 year old bike covered the part not labour out of warranty 1 month . Finally my center stand bolt decided to let go and nearly killed me when i was making a turn by rubbing on my tire . Blame the tech who installed it without loctite . Do i like the bike yes do i think italians know how to put a bike together no, would i buy another, sadly absolutely not . I have payments so i have no choice but to continue to make the best out of it but hopefully i can one day be smart enough and buy a Yamaha .

@@tasosliovas8499 sadly I have to agree with all you have said. But yamaha have no soul. I'm a sucker for an Italian bike. I've owned 3x other ducati over the years. I hope you get sorted. BTW I went round my bike and checked a lot of the bolts. I also once a year check them all again. Guzzi are known for vibrating them out. My left switch gear is still broken after it got soaked on the euro trip.
Nice ride. Current bike is an Indian FTR Sport but would like to add a Guzzi eventually
The GUzzi is a Keeper, but she certainly tests my patience at times when it give me issues
You could have made a 10min video by not going over what's in your head and what thinking and what you had previously. Your 1st 10mins is just a video killer and I left without knowing what LS2 is about. I'll find out from other straight forward UA-cam videos....been a real waste of my time !!!!
@@Dexadventure01 thanks for your feedback 👍🏻 a wee tip for ya... If a video review of a helmet is 33mins long. This would suggest to me there is a lot of talking and not the kind of 5min direct points review you seem to be after.. 🤷♂️
What a views ! Some day i will reach Apls on my v85 ;) Did you got any knocking combustion when going uphill? btw good job with the camera!
@@niczek123 Thankyou for the comment. I didn't have any knocking as my bike has a full decat system fitted which helps the heat get away from the motor.. Instead of the original exhaust which tries to keep the heat to burn off gases
@@buckymoto1784 Probably its a good idea to let the motor breathe. But then the new map is needed and you have to trust the map is made in the way it shoud be just not to bring any other bad things to the motor
Only found your channel a couple of days ago. I was watching another owner who had the exact same issue of a poor weld on the sump guard socket. I ordered my unit today and put in with the order that i wanted that i wanted that socket rewelded by dealer prior to my acceptance.
If I remove the cat and boom box and stay with the stock rear factory canister, am I wasting time adn money by going with the booster plug and not straight to the download upgrades? thanks in advance and keep up the good work!
@@psalwasser I have read comments on FB groups of people that think they had success with the booster plug. But personally I didn't think it worked on my decat setup. I know Upmap have 4x different maps to accommodate various exhaust configurations. Personally I think it has made a great change in the character and power delivery of my bikes setup. I can feel the extra 7Whp they say I should get. Along with a superior snappy throttle response and added torque. BTW I owned a booster plug 1st, but sold it an bought an UpMap
Hi again Bucky, sweet sound did you buy in the UK? Where from please?
@@paulnorton497 I love the sound of the V85 now. It's not obnoxious, even when sitting at a steady motorway speed I can barely hear it through my music and wind noise etc.. But I do like to hear my bikes. The decat is from MassMoto (ordered direct from them in Italy, Giancarlo pushed it through faster for me so I had it before the TT last year. Video series on that here also) The Upmap I ordered from guareshi Moto. K&N filter off amazon. EVAP removal kit from Smart moto. Storm muffler off ebay store. NOTE * The sound you hear in the video is the mic sitting 10" away from the muffler in my backpack.. That's not what you have to listen too all day on rides.. You can hear it. But not as loud as the video 😁
@@buckymoto1784 Thank you for the reply! If you're in Scotland and think you hear your bike...it'll be me 😉
@@buckymoto1784 Thanks for that info bucky. You have used the Storm end can, which I like, BUT the T800+ doesnt seem to cover that when I read its update blurb? Being a humpty myself...what do I do in that case? You seem to have nailed it and I don't want to cock it up when I come to fit it all!! Really appreciate your input 👍.

Any motorcycle garage with Texa can read Guzzi,s. or for tge price of a exhaust canbuy OBDSTAR iscan with Moto Guzzi software,£300 ish Uk, then you sorted for life whatever guzzi you own. Just subscribed my 3rd Guzzi joining my collection in 10 days
THanks for the Sub and the great information... 👍 Yep this one has given me headaches, but I'm never selling it
Wow, I enjoyed that little ride, you can't beat the sound of a Moto Guzzi v twin when it's allowed to express itself. What microphone do you use and where do you position it to get the great results you have in this video?
It did come out well. I use a ZOOM H1n recorder for this kind of better sound. I placed it inside a few bobble hats and then inside one of the pockets in a backpack. The Zoom has great Gain control so I didn't blow out the sound when revving out through the gears. I really need to figure out a better mic setup for when I am out on my trips as the FAF of trying to get sound to sync with video is a PITA. So I just rely on the camera's Media mod and the built-in Gain control, but sadly it isn't enough and wind gets the better of the recording after about 40mph.
Nice instructional video, I have an older Guzzi so I have only ever used Guzzidiag to load a map. When you purchase the map does it also include the hardware to install it and what is the overall cost. Obviously with the euro 5 and above suffocating the engine it's nice to know you can easily make your bike run smoother with this remap.
Thanks for stopping by and your comment. iircc the Price was £380. You purchase the T800 module and pick which cable connecter you require for the bike. Then you get 1x free map for the setup you have on your bike. There are 4x maps. One for a Standard bike. 1 for a bike with an aftermarket muffler. then the 2 last maps are for Full decat systems. Also each map give more HP. I now have the top map installed which apparently gives me 73 WHP
@@buckymoto1784 do you know how much the whp the v85tt has as standard as obviously the manufacture only gives the bhp of the engine not at the wheel?
@@paulcooper5610 I think it is 64-65ish. What it has now is very noticeable. Throttle response it also a lot better between the different ride modes.
@@buckymoto1784 seems a good increase in bhp from the map then, but I guess your bike has an unrestricted free flowing exhaust system which also helps.
Fantastic! Thanks for the excellent video. I made this modification while installing the heated grips.
Thanks for stopping by
Nice vids on both this and the how to Upmap - very informative. The bike sounds mint. I see you've upgraded your map from the EU OEM N Zard to this EU Zard FR ..... can you tell me why as I am currently looking to install SS decat headers with the same Storm end can and am unsure as to which Upmap map to go for. Thanks
@@chrismurphy4724 Thanks for stopping by and watching them...comments no matter how small mean a lot. 👍🏻 I tried the newer map just because I had it. And the Ass dyno said it felt a bit more grunt, it still felt just as smooth as the lower map. I decided to leave the more powerful map in place. I belive the top map gives 73WHP. And I can definitely feel it. The bike is punchier
Very well shown how to remove/reassemble the rear wheel..... , but - why didn't you clean all the rust, didn't lube all the parts, and didn't check the bearings ??!! ⁉⁉🤔🤔
THanks for stopping by. THe Video wasn't about those, It was about a simple Tyre change & what it would take to show people that it isn't that scary. renebeland4837 comment below is a testament to why I did the video.
Still holding up well and unique in its fit for its purpose, no real competitors. Would love to ry the new one with variable timing, makes sense, hopefully as reliable as the rest of the bike.

Nice vlog. Bike I'm looking for also just not sure on colour as like them all. Maybe get a winter hack to save the Guzzi for fine weather rider! I have an old CBF1000 for my general alround hack
I intend to keep this V85 for my lifetime. I would consider one of the CF moto 450 MT as a green lane hack. and maybe retire the V85 from that side of my riding.
Thank you for demystifying taking off the rear wheel on a Guzzi. This is the first time I own one so I thought I would have to go the dealer to replace my tires. Now I can just take the wheels to my neighborhood mechanic / friend and save a lot of money. Thank you!

@@hotdoug1000 That is very strange. Funny you mention it, I was thinking a few nights ago that I hadn't seen some creators in a while I watched regularly. I dropped the 2nd part last night. Like I said.... It gets prettier from now on
I have a '23 V7 Stone (same engine but detuned) and I just turned over 20,000 miles in about a year of ownership. The bike has been nothing but reliable.
Do you disconnect the round module and cable, or do you leave it plugged in? I have left mine plugged in, but it appears to have put a drain on the battery. There's no mention of unplugging the module.
I suspected battery drain, so I always remove mine.
@@buckymoto1784 Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I didn't realise that it rewrote the map onto the bikes ECU. It's dropping into place now how it works.
The drain is there as it powers the T800 module with LED light and Bluetooth module. If you leave that in 24/7 it will drain the battery unless your on a battery tender permanently.
