Good demonstration of wooden deck application. Thanks Steve.
Plastic modelling masterclass. The wooden deck looks stunning.
The addition of the deck has really elevated the model to museum quality. Nice tutorial as usual Steve.
Great sound effects for putting the deck down Steve. Thanks for the tips and another great video.
I do look forward to watching these episodes on a Saturday morning, I learn so much. Thank you Steve!
Hope you dont mind. Just for trivia. The anchor "cable" not chain goes to the water via the hawse pipe and the other end goes to the chain locker via the spurling pipe. This end is secured in the cable locker by rope in case the cable carries away. The rope is a weak link. This end of the cable is known as "the bitter end" If a captain lost the bitter end, it refers to the end of his career, at least with that company.
Deck looks great Steve
Nice work Steve 👏
Another great episode!
The wooden decks make a big difference, nice work Steve, it looks great.
GREAT VIDEO!! THANKS!! Very tricky with the large (& thin) sheets of sticky-back veneer. (A bit like watching someone de-fuse a bomb).
Looks fabulous Steve you made that look easy I had hell of a job applying wooden deck on the nelson
I would have wiped the decks down with denatured alcohol instead of clear varnish. That would remove any mold release or oils and shouldn’t bother the plastic.
Bloody hell, mate. I built that years ago.
Did anyone else hold their breath for too long whilst watching those decks go down!
Thank you for sharing!

Fascinating stuff Steve. Ships aren’t my thing…but after your Hood series, I’m hooked. Not helping with the shearing this year😀. Best Geoff.
That looked almost easy. Veneering job that big could go off the rails in a big hurry but not here.
Nice job on the
