Nice!! Good job with the shots :thumbsup I have been using a6400 for about a year now, fiddling around with color profiles and I have to say, this is my second fav setup after slog2.
It's a wonderful camera. I use it primarily as a B-cam to my a7iii in productions, but its compact design has made it a favourite of mine to take on the go, especially considering I have my a7iii all rigged out with a SmallRig cage and handles. I normally use S-LOG2, but I know there's a lot more to this camera than the flat profile and default picture styles. The customisability is amazingly in depth and there's so much to explore with it.
If you're on the a6400, I'd go with the Sigma 56 f/1.4 over the Sony 85 f/1.8. The crop factor of the Sony APS-C sensor in the a6400 will make the 56mm come out to around 85mm anyway, and will crop in the 85 further towards ~120mm. Plus that f/1.4 will let in more light on the smaller sensor than f/1.8 if you need it in lower light situations.
Try this: pp3, black 0; gamma cine4; black gamma middle; knee auto ( play with this one- maybe 77.5 point, slope 0 thus one can be touchy, a little goes a long way); color mode pro; sat -2; color phase -2; depth (play with it for your style).
