Thank GOD for you!!! I have been struggling to figure out how to do my hair for years! I just couldn't seem to understand the process. It was always frizzy and unruly. I was so frustrated!!! I grew my hair out long after decades of really short hair so I could go curly and enjoy my natural curls but not getting the results I ALMOST chopped it all off. Until I saw your video and follow your instructions TO THE LETTER! I had a total revelation...an A-HA moment!!! I did it!!!! With your help I have soft beautiful curls!!!! Thank you....thank you!!!!!!!!-
I can not thank you enough for this video! I chopped off about 6 inches of hair back in November 2022, determined to give up straightening and finally embrace my natural curls after 20 years of suppressing them. The problem is, even after watching hundreds of videos and trying dozens of products and techniques, I just couldn't get a good hair day. I followed your steps in this video (different products and swapping out the mousse for a gel because I didn't have a mousse handy) and while my hair doesn't look perfect, these are the best results I've had in the 3 months I've been curly! We have a very similar curl tightness, but mine is a bit coarser and low porosity. I think the major difference was HOW MUCH product to use. I thought you were crazy but I tried it with similar product ratios, and I am blown away with the definition I got. Also, your explanation of how you use the Denman brush was a game changer for me. Thank you!!! Will be following for more :)
VERY detailed..thanks. I can't believe how much mousse you use. I have that one and it's so thick! I was used to disappearing mousses and I thought I sprayed way too much in my hand for my finer hair.,good to see you aren't afraid of it! Here's a question how LONG does this actually take you?
Hello! I just recently found your videos, and I'm so glad I did. You are, HANDS DOWN, the best at explaining how to use products for my curly hair! 👏🙌 I had very straight hair for most of my life (but always wanted curly hair). When I turned 40, my hair just started growing in curly! Like, really curly! I was so excited, but found out quickly that I had no idea how to care for it. I've been watching so many videos about curly hair. I think my hair is similar to yours, but a little thicker and curlier. I really appreciate all the details you include in your videos. I can't wait to watch more. Thanks so much for all of your effort. You are really helping me! 😁👍
This is AMAZING!!!! I have watched countless videos since my decision to start styling my hair naturally again earlier this year. My hair is fine and my curl pattern is pretty darn similar to yours. I have struggled with definition, frizz and volume at my crown, no matter which video I’m trying to follow… but THIS!!!!!! Omg!! Amazing stuff here. I have everything I’ve been missing and I feel like a million bucks. I have never styled my own hair and felt like I just left the salon, but I do today! 🙌🏼 I’m using Curl Talk currently and am absolutely switching to the Cake products once these are gone. THANK YOU soo much for making this video! 🤗
So I’m just going to say, you changed my whole wave/curl life. Used the products and the method and O. M. G. My hair usually shrinks up better with mousse than gel but I couldn’t find a mousse that was touchable or non drying that worked for me so I’d end up using gel sheerly for the end softness. I am obsessed with these products now. My hair is so soft today! Thank you!!!
I really enjoy watching your videos! I enjoy listening to your humor, voice and enthusiasm! I’ve had a denman for a while and tried it once, I sucked at it but you’re videos have me wanting to try it again!
Amanda Kelley thank you so much!! For sure give it another try - like any styling method, there’s a learning curve to using the Denman so don’t give up! Let me know how it goes :)
I'm always taken aback by how much product you use! I have fine, low density, high porosity hair, but curlier than yours. The amount you use on one section is twice the amount I use on my WHOLE HEAD. 😂 And yet, we both get bomb results!!!! I've been enjoying your channel, especially your how to get more volume video!
Girl same. I had just finished styling my wet hair and was watching this video while it dried, I was commenting to my husband about the insane amount of product she uses 😂😂 I have low density high porosity hair that’s longer and wavier but I only use a fraction of that product... maybe I need to use more product lol but I can only imagine the crunch with all that product 😳
Thank you for making this video! Super helpful for a beginner like me - I've always had wavy hair that I didn't know how to control. I essentially followed all of your steps (with similar product) and got the waves of a lifetime tonight! I was shocked the waves even came out as I've been drying my hair basically every time I wash for the past 2 years and my hair is very dry and dead. THANK YOU!!! 😊
I find I can't diffuse my hair cause I get nauseated from having my head upside down and side to side. 😔 I HAVE to air dry! Glad to see you loved the results! I gotta give it a try asap! Lol
WOWWW your hair looks amazing!!! I just got into taking care of my recently-curly hair and am so excited to try all this out!! You are so funny and explain everything so well. HUGE thank you!
I've been following the CGM for years now, but I never knew anything about the proteins or finger coiling method. I've been struggling with frizz, definition, and volume. I'm so excited to try this routine and see how my curls like it!!
Ok, I just want you to know that I love you. Oh my gosh, I finally love my curls. I have been going CG since the first of the year, 8 months. I have had curls and waves, but never soft and bouncy. I finally found the LUS products and love the 3 step system, but the other items just didn’t work. But I still struggled with volume, mega frizz and lifeless looking curls, and no shine. I ordered the cake products you shared and after just using the curl friend my hair looks so much fully, less frizz and mega bounce. Can’t wait to see what will happen when the rest of the products get here. Thank you so much.
I don't usually comment on stuff but you addressed so many problems that I've been dealing with in this video, I had to try it. I ordered all 4 products you used and followed this routing to a T (except squeezing out water before putting on the mousse, I forgot and I think it actually did impact how much hold I got) but holy heck!! My hair has never literally BOUNCED up and down when I walk! I've been doing cgm for over 2 years and im still struggling to find the right products and techniques. I felt a little weird putting silicones on my hair at first but man do they ever make dealing with curly hair easier 😂😭 I have fine 2c/3a hair and I think as long as I clarify regularly I'm going to keep using these products. Thank you so much, I've been struggling with my hair lately and this really helped me out! 💖
I am so happy to hear that!!! I'm thrilled the products are working as well for you as they do for me! Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your experience!! xxx
Fantastic video! I use the cake curl cream and mousse, and I have the leave in, but I've haven't been using as much as you. I also have a Denman brush, but have never had success with it. My hair is very similar to yours, so I am going to try this EXACT routine and see how it works, next time I feel like spending that much time on my hair. Most of the time, I'm just a wash and go type, and will put it in clips while it drying for volume. I also usually find that making sure my hair is very wet when I put my products in (including mousse is very helpful). I don't have the final product in your lineup. I'm hoping a serum will do the trick. The only thing I didn't like was the music that came in at the end. It was extremely distracting from an otherwise fabulous and education video!
@@Floridameerkat93 this is what I found, too. Curlies highly recommend this brand but I use the whip mousse cause it's CG friendly and it's been my holy grail setting product for over a year now 😊
I literally needed this video, cuz ive brrn having a hard time and i feel like when it comes to diffusing details matter, no one explains it as well as you do, and the ribbon beush too, thank you so much
I just want to say thank you for this!! I tried Cake beauty products for the first time today and have amazing curls! And I didn’t do anything else just the curl cream and mousse! ❤️
hello, I have just started my curly girl method and I have like 2a to 2b hair, i have the curl whip mousse but should i be using a cream before the mousse? like you used the curl friend and then the mouse but usually i just put in a leave in conditioner after washing my hair and then the mousse and dry, but my hair felt kind of frizzy, any tips? Thanks so much!
Alexa Hernandez great question! If your hair feels dry, chances are it needs more moisture - hence why I always use a cream before a gel or mousse! I think taking the extra step to define with a cream will make a big positive difference for you :) keep me posted!
Stumbled upon your channel while searching Cake product review. I am going to try your method as I can relate to yours. Also enjoy your sense of humor and sarcasm 😉.
@@TheFitCurls I hope you continue to share your curly hair journey. I have tried your method. IT WORKS!!!! First time having defined curls with no frizz. Thanks a million.
Another informative and entertaining video... so glad I found you! I tried the Denman brush/finger coiling (pretty much finger coiled my whole head) with this diffusing technique... just waiting to scrunch out the crunch. Can’t wait to see my results!!! So far... this is the best hair day I’ve had since starting 6 weeks ago even though still a little stringy. I now realize, after watching your coiling video for the thousandth time (okay 😉 maybe only 5 times), I coiled too small of strands for my texture. You mentioned that you’ve been transitioning for 7 months. I would love to see before pics!
Aimee Green Aw that’s wonderful that you’re finding some answers and seeing improvement in your curls!! If you check out my Instagram you can see some photos from earlier in my curl journey, and I’ll do a hair journey video soon! xx
Beautiful results! I have a very similar curl pattern and after a year working at this I think I’m finally understanding what I’ve been doing wrong. I’ve always been so nervous to take a brush to my hair since I feel like since it isn’t a tight curl I’ll ruin it forever but I’ve seen you and so many others do it and get great results! I bought a Denman but have just been looking at it, nervous to try. Seeing you do it might have just been the push I needed, thanks!
I'm about to try this tonight. In decades I've not had a single product not give me helmet head. My hair is high porosity but my strands are extremely fine. Having curly hair with very fine strands is a major pain. Pretty much everything I put in my hair weighs it down and causes crunch. Don't have a diffuser so I hope air dry will work. Protein kills my hair. I can do a treatment maybe once every 6 weeks but no more than that or it gets brittle. Last night I tried Ion chelating shampoo for the first time followed by Aphogee 2 minute protein mask and so far so good
Thank you for this and your other Denman brush videos! We have almost the exact same routine, including products, but I always end up with some weird issues with my part /cowlicks and frizz like crazy on top of my head! I can see exactly why, now, and am about to try this method right now to see if it works better!
Who knows if you'll see this as this video is way old! I just found your channel and am excited to try this next wash day! Have you ever used the "hand" dryer attachment (quite literally looks a hand)on your roots? I got one for Christmas but its a rather intimidating attachment.
Such beautiful curls! I plan to follow this tutorial on my next wash day and pray I get some good results. What shampoo/conditioner do you use? Do you put your hair in a towel at all after washing, or do you go straight in with curling?
Normally do the upside down courtneyswavy videos. Found yours, like the results you get but I think it will take practice. I could not separate hair as neatly as you did. So my curls weren't uniform. I had chunky and not so chunky. And some holes, front was wonky. But i see promise because there are some great curls!!!. It is all in the sectioning and not messing up one while trying to do the other. But definitely will try again. 🙂
Can you please recommend which 2 cake products to use together: Curl jelly, mousse, cream, leave in. It's buy one get one half off. I have similar curl pattern to you but thicker/ denser. Thanks .
Your videos are so amazing and love your personality. Have just bought all the products you use because of your videos aha hope they work as well on my hair!
I have used only a few products after I went clean hair from chemicals. So, my questions are: have you ever used LUS brands? I am afraid to use anything else...but I am interested in what you use to get the 'crap of product' out of your hair? you said so fast and I had never used it before and the only thing I have used is Neutragina but I'm sure that is too hard for our locks and color treated hair. BTW I love your hair and mine is the same type is yours, although I do get REALLY smaller coils under my upper locks.
I just got the OGX coconut mousse but I found it made my hair feel dirty. I was looking at the cake mousse however so I’ll give it a try! Also, I have 2b-3a hair and I’m always scared to use too much product because I’m scared it’ll weigh down my hair. I don’t have thing hair but I’m still scared. You said in your other den man video you have thinner hair, do you ever feel like your hair gets weighed down by the products or no?
The key is making sure you apply the right amount of each product! Layering products won’t weigh your hair down as long as you go light with your moisturizing products. I’ve never had any issue with this method weighing my hair down :)
Your tips have helped and I could use more help please. We use a well and have a lot of minerals in the water. I've been using white distilled vinegar mixed with distilled water and it does help. But I was curious if I should use a clarifying or chelating shampoo for better results.
Do you use the Denman from the Amazon link in the description or did you get yours directly from denman website? I’m wanting to get one but want to make sure I get the one that will work and I read on a lot of the Amazon reviews for that specific denman that it’s fake, which makes me worry it won’t work if I get it. Also thank you for your humor and information! I like to think your curls are the closest to mine on UA-cam that I’ve found. So it’s very helpful, thank you! 😁
I actually picked mine up from Sally Beauty Supply so I know it’s the real thing! Amazon has definitely been known to be, uh, sketchy with their sourcing.
Thanks for the tips! Question, I am trying the cake beauty products and like them. However, after a few uses of the working curl, the pump clogs. I have rinsed the pump in hot water but it’s not enough. Any suggestions?
I just found your channel, and I love your personality and video quality! Your curls are very similar to my husbands. I'd be really interested in know if you have any recommendations for a curl routine with no scents? I'm highly sensitive to all scented products, so he stopped using all products...and his poor hair is suffering.
Manes by Mell actually did a great video on fragrance-free curl products! I definitely want to explore the subject more myself so stay tuned and keep reminding me about this! xx
Does that spray work kind of like a hairspray? I can get some great curls but they fall out after a few hours. I typically add a little texture hairspray but I don’t like how it takes away the softness
Great question! This is more of a dry oil spray, so it softens rather than adding hold. Sounds like you need a strong hold gel/mousse and maybe a good boost of protein to help give your curls more structure!
I keep going back to Function of Beauty! But I also love L’Enza’s color safe clarifying shampoo & healing conditioner, EVOLVh’s UltraShine shampoo, and Ecoslay Rice Pudding!
Thank you!! I wanted to update you as well! I started using Desert Essence Smoothing Shampoo and am loving it. It has chelating properties (ACV) as well as clarifying, AND it has protein and is color safe. Very affordable (about $11 on Amazon). And for anyone who sees this and wants a “crunchy” product, this shampoo fits the bill. I follow your routine in this video almost exactly, but I skip the Locksmith due to denatured alcohol being the first ingredient. But now I’m curious-did you ever find it dried your hair out if you used it too often?
I clarify and/or chelate pretty regularly, but even shampoos with non-sulfate surfactants can remove the silicones! Cosmetic chemistry has come a long way xx
That is a great question! I never plop overnight because my texture would not respond well to it - my curls would go all wonky! But if an overnight plop has worked for you in the past, go for it - you never know until you try!
That is a fabulous question, and my answer is...I learned my Denman technique from Mell 😂 I have found that the vertical sections help encourage the right sized clumps to form and, with that little twist, also encourage that spiral curl pattern. I’ve done horizontal sectioning before and the results just weren’t consistent 🤷🏼♀️
I LOOOOVE Mell! We’ve both used and reviewed LUS Brands and the new Curlsmith Strength line, and I look forward to trying a few other lines she’s used once I have the budget and the shelf space 😂
Hi there! I don’t adhere fully to the CGM so I do use some products containing silicones and “drying” alcohols, as I have found that these formulations work best for my hair! Of these four products I show here, only the Curl Whip Mousse is CGM approved.
It depends on the wash and the gel! I have a few gels I’m obsessed with (Camille Rose Curl Maker, Ouidad Gel-Cream, Bounce Curl Light Creme Gel) and I like to switch it up but often find myself back at mousse :) check out my Mousse vs Gel battle to see them head to head!
Great question! It could very possibly work for your daughter. I’d suggest letting her hair air dry and maybe keeping the styling more simple - raking and scrunching instead of Denman brushing. With a 2-year-old, it’s best to keep it short and sweet!
After watching this video I went out and got the cream and mouse and styled with my Denman brush. It made such a big difference with my roots not being flat at the top of my head. Thank you so much!
Because of your videos I bought the Cake Mousse. I’m trying it today. Thanks for sharing your videos. My hair needs Protein too and I didn’t realize Cake had this much protein. Now I’ll have to try the cream. 🩷
Nothing detrimental at all! I always use this much product 😂 and I’ve watched my hair get healthier and happier! I do recommend a periodic clarifying wash to remove any buildup from any products you choose to use though. It’s good practice for us all 😊💛
Silicones (in the leave-in and cream) are actually excellent heat protectants! And diffusing doesn’t cause the same level of heat damage as flat ironing or regular blow-drying will thanks to the indirect heat :)
Not sponsored! Just really love their stuff 😂 this method will absolutely work on 2a hair but I recommend using more water as you style to help form those juicy clumps 🙂
It’s the shortening effect that happens to curls as they dry! The tighter the curl type, the more they shrink as they dry. Some prefer a more elongated look to their curls while I prefer to maximize my “shrinkage” to gain the accompanying volume!
Kamila Wright Great question! If your hair is very sensitive to protein I would recommend only trying the cream or the leave-in, but not both at once. Camille Rose has a great leave-in (Curl Love moisture milk) that’s protein free and works great with the remainder of the Cake products!
The Fit Curls thanks for answer. I usually use kinky curly leave in but I’m getting hard time in make my wavy/curly hair to be more defined so I’m looking for a curl enhancer plus something that gives me volume. Are these products silicon free? Your hair came out very 👍🏻
Kamila Wright As I note in the video, they are not silicone free. I find no issue with buildup as long as I clarify every 3-5 washes. The Curl Friend (the cream) definitely enhances curls! It’s all about finding out what works best for your hair xx
The Fit Curls sorry I missed that part. Last question are they drying? I have to refresh my hair everyday because my hair looks crazyyyyyy (I sleep with a bonnet, silk pillow case) but any ways it’s doesn’t help to keep the style.
Kamila Wright They’re not drying at all - part of why I love them! It took me a little while to figure out what worked best for me to preserve my style overnight - the bonnet works for me, but others prefer using a pineapple and/or a silk scarf! Maybe check the size of your bonnet - if it’s too small it might force your curls into a weird kinked shape. I’ve definitely discovered that with the right products and styling techniques, I need to refresh way less, so keep experimenting!
The Fit Curls I used different products but I did the same thing and I’m finally confident about my hair!! Tysm (I did have to finger curl a lot tho) but I finally found something that works and my hair looks so good so ty!!

So far... this is the best hair day I’ve had since starting 6 weeks ago even though still a little stringy.
If you check out my Instagram you can see some photos from earlier in my curl journey, and I’ll do a hair journey video soon! xx
You are the reason I bought all of these products!! Thank you!
YAYYYY I hope you love them as much as I do!! 💛
Glad to help!! I was initially nervous about brush styling too, but the Denman is a fabulous tool 💕
Thank you! So far this is the best routine I have found for my curls. ❤
Last night I tried Ion chelating shampoo for the first time followed by Aphogee 2 minute protein mask and so far so good
Fantastic!! So much good information, will be trying tomorrow Thank you!!
Thank you for this and your other Denman brush videos! We have almost the exact same routine, including products, but I always end up with some weird issues with my part /cowlicks and frizz like crazy on top of my head! I can see exactly why, now, and am about to try this method right now to see if it works better!
You have such pretty curly hair , and I am going to have to try these products for my curly hair .
Thank you so much!! I hope you love the products as much as I do 💕
I recently dyed my hair pink and these products help save my hair!:)
Aaahhhh I love it!!! They’re fabulous products! 💕
Great products. Has helped me with frizzy curls
Wow, amazing results and technique, thank you for sharing
Thank you now I have a shot if having decent curly hair thanks to your step by step tutorial 🌹
I love Cake products! Your hair looks beautiful!!
Finally I got the leave in & curl cream. So far I love it.
i got the mousse the other day, and boy did it look crazy today. Now I know I need a gel
Trial and error, my friend! All our curls are different :)
i have the cake whipped mousse and i swear i thought it was curly girl approved!
I think the mousse is! I was mostly referring to the cream, but I should check again - the formulation might have changed!
The music at the end made me jump, lol! Looks great!
Hahaha I did NOT do a great job with the sound mixing 😂 thanks so much!!
Hi! Great video. I’m excited to try this routine. I’m having trouble finding the deeptox shampoo mentioned here. Has it been discontinued? Thank you!
Great video and tips!! I can't wait until my next wash day to try your mousse technique!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you so much!! I hope you love your results 💖
Can you please recommend which 2 cake products to use together:
Curl jelly, mousse, cream, leave in.
It's buy one get one half off. I have similar curl pattern to you but thicker/ denser. Thanks .
Argh, this video has highlighted every way in which I'm going wrong. Can't wait for my next wash day!!!!
Your videos are so amazing and love your personality. Have just bought all the products you use because of your videos aha hope they work as well on my hair!
Thank you so much!! Good luck and keep me posted 💕
Will do! Xxx
I only use mouse and curl enhancer as well...not a fan of gel at all...Will def try the cake products!!!!
I hope you love them as much as I do!! I’ve been coming around a bit on gel but it took a lot of experimenting to get there haha
Love your videos. Very informative! Trying the Cake Curl Whip today.
Kaitlyn Holm Thank you so much!! Let me know how the mousse works for you - it’s been a favorite of mine for ages!
Ty ty ty 💓 loved the oil/conditioning spray!
So glad you loved it!
Hilary B that is a great question! I would definitely recommend using a chelating shampoo to remove hard water buildup.
@@TheFitCurls thank you! I really appreciate your channel 🙂
I definitely want to explore the subject more myself so stay tuned and keep reminding me about this! xx
What do you do for a refresh? Gorgeous curls!
I have a video on one version of a refresh, but I’ll release a new one soon!
Love the products and routine! Looks like a lot of work though. And my hair is long lol
The Fit Curls thank you so much! What gel/mousse would you suggest for great hold?
Great video! What are your go-to shampoo and conditioner (seems the Eva NYC one is now no more 😞)?
I can't figure out how to use my denman brush. Should I be waiting to apply gel until after but I can use my curl cream before?
Excellent job that's how I do mine
Do you use a sulfate shampoo to remove the silicone from the curl cream ? At this point all my products are CG approved. Thank you ❤️
I clarify and/or chelate pretty regularly, but even shampoos with non-sulfate surfactants can remove the silicones! Cosmetic chemistry has come a long way xx
Hello! After your curl whip.. mousse.. stuff... could you do a full overnight plop? Or would that mess things up?
That is a great question! I never plop overnight because my texture would not respond well to it - my curls would go all wonky! But if an overnight plop has worked for you in the past, go for it - you never know until you try!
@@TheFitCurls Thanks so much!
How long does it take you to dry and style your hair with this method?
Do you think that these will work good for thin fine waves
I just bought my first Denman. You and Mell both style using the Denman vertically--is there a reason you don't pull horizontal chunks instead?
That is a fabulous question, and my answer is...I learned my Denman technique from Mell 😂 I have found that the vertical sections help encourage the right sized clumps to form and, with that little twist, also encourage that spiral curl pattern. I’ve done horizontal sectioning before and the results just weren’t consistent 🤷🏼♀️
@@TheFitCurls Thank you!! It feels awkward with vertical styling, but I'll just have to get used to it 😀😀💖
Have you checked out manes by mell? Would you do a first impression of many of the products they use?
I LOOOOVE Mell! We’ve both used and reviewed LUS Brands and the new Curlsmith Strength line, and I look forward to trying a few other lines she’s used once I have the budget and the shelf space 😂
What do you do with your hair at night? I put mine in a pineapple but then bottom parts of my hair get straight :c
I actually have a whole video on sleep protection! (Which is due for an update lol) but long story short, I wear a satin bonnet :)
HI! question....I use the CGM for a while now and i am still investigating the best products for me to use. . Are the products you use CG friendly?
Hi there! I don’t adhere fully to the CGM so I do use some products containing silicones and “drying” alcohols, as I have found that these formulations work best for my hair! Of these four products I show here, only the Curl Whip Mousse is CGM approved.
How does your hair react to gel? I’m experimenting with gel vs mousse.
Do you do the same thing when refreshing ?
When I use a denman brush my hair on the top is flat and the back is not defined
Would this be okay to use on my two year old daughter? I have pin straight hair and she has hair really similar to you.
Great question! It could very possibly work for your daughter. I’d suggest letting her hair air dry and maybe keeping the styling more simple - raking and scrunching instead of Denman brushing. With a 2-year-old, it’s best to keep it short and sweet!
Great 👍 video
After watching this video I went out and got the cream and mouse and styled with my Denman brush. It made such a big difference with my roots not being flat at the top of my head. Thank you so much!
My pleasure!! I’m so glad the products and the styling technique worked as well for you as they do for me!! 💕
Your so pretty and very helpful!
Kait Nelson Thank you!! That’s so sweet xx
I did your technique but didn’t get the volume. The curls are great. Please do a video on volume
Lori Freeman Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear the curls look great even if the volume is still a work in progress :)
The Fit Curls Thanks for your feedback.
I do everything just the same and hair looks the same as yours when wet but as soon as it dries it's a mess 😭 I don't get it
Because of your videos I bought the Cake Mousse. I’m trying it today. Thanks for sharing your videos. My hair needs Protein too and I didn’t realize Cake had this much protein. Now I’ll have to try the cream. 🩷
What would this much product do to your hair in long run?
Nothing detrimental at all! I always use this much product 😂 and I’ve watched my hair get healthier and happier! I do recommend a periodic clarifying wash to remove any buildup from any products you choose to use though. It’s good practice for us all 😊💛
How many rows is your Denman brush?
I use the D3 7-row!
Do you use any heat protection?
Silicones (in the leave-in and cream) are actually excellent heat protectants! And diffusing doesn’t cause the same level of heat damage as flat ironing or regular blow-drying will thanks to the indirect heat :)
Why does this product say it has Avocado oil, Soybean oil, and Shea butter...but those things are not listed in the ingredients?
is this sponsored? and will this method work on 2a wavy hair?
Not sponsored! Just really love their stuff 😂 this method will absolutely work on 2a hair but I recommend using more water as you style to help form those juicy clumps 🙂
What is “shrinkage”?
It’s the shortening effect that happens to curls as they dry! The tighter the curl type, the more they shrink as they dry. Some prefer a more elongated look to their curls while I prefer to maximize my “shrinkage” to gain the accompanying volume!
They are not sold here in Italy.... 😭 I want these products so baaaaaad 💔
I feel you!! Fanola has some great curl products too, and they’re an Italian brand so I know you’ll be able to find them! xx
I have protein sensitive hair do u think would they work?
I can not find the cake curl whip mouse in stick anywhere 😤
It has been selling out like crazy!! Hope you’re able to get your hands on some soon! 💕
What if I can only let my hair air dry??
You can absolutely air dry! Make sure you thoroughly microplop, and keep your hair moving gently as it dries to make sure you get some volume :)
The Fit Curls I used different products but I did the same thing and I’m finally confident about my hair!! Tysm (I did have to finger curl a lot tho) but I finally found something that works and my hair looks so good so ty!!
👏🏾
Omg you're great
Aww thank you!
You have the most incredible narrating voice and should be hired for fucking tv shows, wow
Thank you!! I love voiceover work 😊
Please add captions for those of us that are hard of hearing/ deaf!!! when you do voice overs it's very difficult to follow..no lips to read..
Thank you for making me aware the captions weren’t on!! I’ll look into it and see what I can do xx
This line made my hair look both frizzy AND oily 🤷🏻♀️
There is NO Way I would use that much product. Very over the top.
I use enough product for my high-density fine curls to set in a way that lasts. If that’s too much product for your hair, that’s okay! You do you 😘
