You know...that time when you think that amstudio did everything...and he suddenly comes with something to open a whole new world to DIY Simracing. Congratulations! Greetings from Chile!
i dont have simulator, and im still watch this.
i only can imagine how its feel to play using all your setup.
ME TOO
Me too!
Start building!
@@ivanjack8341 it needs money which is something i don't have. 😂
You don't need that much money, i made my rig from rectangle bars with just a hand saw and a drill
amstudio, the only channel with useful diy
i don't know if i said this before but , man.. you are a God! with your help I did Button box with ignition key , now I'll order everything is needed for the wind sim . thanks!!
by 2021 amstudio makes a video called: “How to make a DIY car”
You got one month
@@emidex8721 Its time
Where is it
I only came to see the car, can't find it?
@@samibinol He’s working on it, that’s why he wasn’t on here for 11 months /s
You are so creative, keep up man,we appreciate that.
Is there any way to get these projects?
Great project amstudio my dude. Wind, motion and VR would be amazing for open-wheel cars. The trifecta of sim racing if youd like to call it that
Cool! I did this a few years back with a 280CFM 12V fan and Project Cars. Really convincing experience.
Awesome!
Its not windy in a car though
@@Teddy_Bear312 it is with the window down, or air ducks through rear windows, on convertible and open wheel vehicles.
Great video as always, I would love to see a solid sequential shifter as a diy project!
Like all your other videos.......very very professional. Tx for the content.
Why this channel is so good
Great work!!! Keep it going!!!!!! Well done!!
Yesssss been waiting for you to do this.... Let's go
I'm actually going to build something wow. Thanks!
Another great tutorial mate
It makes it so realistic
Thank you so much for the Tutorial
That’s so awesome! I love it
Thank you so much for this video
I Love your DIY Projects! Please, considere on some day doing an 2dof motion seat! That would be amazing!
ok im really enjoyed and gather more information about your builds and modification you made your setup but i cant wait you make a FFB steering wheel using arduino uno , rotary encoder and a steper motor along with the shifter and the pedal (y) and keep up the sharing for the open source community
Thank you!
Another Great Video..I hadnt Saw Any New UpLoads From Ya For A While...Glad Ya Bak At It ..O AN ConGrats On Getn Ya Store Up N Goin To...Looked Good ..N Keep Up The Good Work..
Eres el número uno,que máquina, muchas gracias, por compartir tus inventos
Wondering what's next, maybe a set of exhaust to generate some smoke 😁. Nice one mate great video as always!
Can you make a wrc style paddle shifters?please
ok
amstudio Award for the best reply ever! “ok” XD

Dude ! 81K wow keep up good work :)
Your long term support is appreciated, Thanks man!
Very good 👌
Some time ago I saw a video about the wind fans for simracing and though when will amstudio make DIY for that.
great contribution!! has already made a car steering wheel with your ideas ..... But this time I had a problem, the fan seems to have no strength and emits an annoying sound ... what can it be? I followed the tutorial carefully ... thanks in advance.
Nice please make smth related to trucks , would really help
NEVER FAIL TO AMUSE ME BUDDY. so far i made the stalk project. bmw dash project. and nextion display project. im still making the motors for my pedals then im going to make this. and the turbo gauge.
Hi!
Great job! I would make it too, but I don't know what kind of fan it needs exactly? Thanks!
We want DIY pedals with integrated rumble motor!
fanatec clubsport pedals v3 inverted
So cool i need one and by the way can you make a speedometer for simhub because you did the tachometer and the boost but i need the speedometer
@amstudio, Maybe you could do an update for rumble pedal settings with SimHub?
Im 100% certain that i don’t need your tutorials cuz I can’t make shit, but boy I do love your videos for some reason lol
Great video, can you please update the explanation with the new version of SIMHUB?
They are different screens.Thank you
can I use one arduino to control both my pedal motors and fan motors? I'm not sure how to tell motor 3/4 to be used for the fans. Motor 1 is selected for brake, motor 2 for gas. Would appreciate some advice thanks!
I WAS LIKE, "WHAT IF THERE WAS A SIM FAN THAT BLEW AIR ON YOU IN AN OPEN COCKPIT VEHICLE?!?"
AMSTUDIO HAD THE ANSWER ALL ALONG!
awesome
Can this be combined with the RUMBLE PEDALS setup on the same Arduino and shield? Or need separate ones? If not can it be use with other Arduino and shield versions?
Nice thing...
Do you have any advice for what to do if the fan's are emitting a high pitch squeal when not at 100% duty cycle.
I've tried two different models/makes of fans now and the system emits a horrible high pitch whine when at low RPM's.
I'm a little stumped as to what is causing it or how to remedy it.
When at near or 100% the squeal goes away and is just replaced with the fan noise itself.
Thanks
hi, is it the same when i connect an instrument cluster for vw golf mk4
I can use the Shield Motor v1 Driver L293D to control the engines ?
if i do 2 fans do i need to do split for wires or i can do 2 more cables on side from firstr 2 from first fan? please and thank you
Hello. Great video.I bought everything and it works great ! Is it possible to buy the 3D printed parts, plz ?
Hi - please can you tell me if sim hub supports set up with monster motor shield with seaflow fans for more power? thank you in advance
Hi man, congrats for your channel, I love it. I have facing trouble to setup the fans, mostly because I am very ignorant on arduino and I have SimHub 7.3.7, that the layout is completely different from your video, could help me out? Thanks
would an L298N be a better idea then the stepper shield?
This might be better for a motorbike sim, since it's not that windy inside of a car..
Really cool idea and video.
GT and other racing cars have air pipes in them giving this exact type of airflow... do your homework dude.
Nice vid. I want to ask a favour I'm sure others will love.
Can you do a video on Content Manager for AC, like tutorials on installing it so it properly works and not just how to use it. It's a pretty good mod apparently.
No CM tutorials have this, and I'm having issues where the game fails to load (just says "Race Cancelled" and launches the original game, but not directly to the race as it should when I press "Go")
Great project, bought all that's needed right away.Unfortunately I have a problem.
Simhub recognizes my Arduino Uno, but the moment I physically install the Motorshield it's keep connecting saying "unrecognized device".
Any suggestions?
Why didn't you use the alimentation barrel already present on the UNO board?
great tutorial but on mine WindSim if the FAN is not power to 12V make a noise... any suggestion ?
hi love these how to vids great stuff bought the file for this and when i downloaded it came down as apk file so i can't print it any suggestions please
Thanks for the video! I’m actually following the instructions and works fine! But the fan is always running in a min speed while plugged to the power.. never reaches 0. Is there any way I can completely stop the fan when the car is not moving?
Can we do the same thing, but depending on whether the windows are open or closed?
Muy chingon wey
What are the polarities of the DC jack adapter?
Can you please try to make a loadcell mod for the g29 pedals ?
The fan in your Description has 4 wires.. does it work?
Could you do guide to built using pwm fan without motor shield?
Any way to setup the software for the new simhub update? A few of the parameters in the video are not available in the speed drop down menu. Anyone have any knowledge or ideas?
More tutorial with usb encoder!
This guy is god
Is it necessary to connect to the board direct to the pc of can it be connected via a usb hub
And why do you put off the jumper on the above board?
You should try to make a Fuel Gauge next
Can you make an tuturial on how to make an suquential shifter with out an 3d printer?
Hi Amstudio, thanks for your great videos. Planning to do the wind generator and the pedal rumble mods: Do I need two Arduino boards or can I do both mods with a single one? thanks
i can answer now, one arduino+1 motor shield can handle up to 4 motor/fan, so both mods!
Hey man, how did you run these DC fans on simhub and Arduino at less than 100% without a horrible screaming noise from fans, i have made the same setup as you but im using a Arduino uno and a SH Moto Monster board
...great but then you tested it inside a car with cockpit, not open wheel class :D dude teh realizms man! keep supporting Wotever and his SimHub!
It was a KTM I think which is open
Can i use any other motor driver in alternate of that motor driver ??
If i can use any other driver then please tell me
I love this project and am really considering making it. Just one question though... How would you connect a 4-wire fan to the stepper? Since there are 5 ports I am not sure which ones you would put the 4 wires into. Any help would be really appreciated!
The fan would feature two particular wires; red (positive) and black (negative). Just use those and ignore the rest.
How can I mount this to my Playseat Challenge without having a button box? And, in case I decide to build a button box, how do I mount the button box aswell?
How are these fans vs noctua industrial 140mm fans?
This looks really cool. I will order the parts today and start the project. Just 1 question: Is there made a box for the Arduino and the motorshield? Would be really nice touch to have it all in a small box !
I found this. Maybe its usable?
can i use L293D motorshield instead of this Adafruit MotorShield ????
Because at my place adafruit motor shield is cost much higher then other motor shields.
waiting towards your reply....
You should sell plug n play kits
Hi, i just tried that diy but all i am getting is some electronic sound and fans are turning too slow. all power gains in max, pw at 400
I'd use some of the same things, except integrate it into a cockpit A/C system
Can your next video be on your total sim hub setup?
@amstudio does this fan and motorshield combo exhibit coil whine?
I have made one of these with SanAce 150mm fans and Adafruit Motorshield V2 and get a pretty annoying whine from about 30% power (when the fan starts spinning) to about 80% power. After that its fine but obviously limits the effectiveness of speed based telemetry input.
Try lowering the the PWM frequency to around 500 in the Arduino/Motorshield set up
Can we use this arduino code with the shakeit code which is already uploaded to arduino+motor shield for using pedal vibration motors? Or do l need a second uno?motorshield?
One uno and motorshield will do 2 pedals and 2 fans. Use a power supply with enough current. Mine is 2.5 amp.
Great Tutorials!!! My question: Can I combine 1 Wind Simulator Fan and 3 Rumble Motors on 1 Motorshield?
Would like to know that too :)
Do you use one controller for 3 rumble motors and one fan?
SUp man, Been following you for a while now and was wondering if you could make a video about Building 2 joystics for like Farming simulator games where They also use Joysticks to do stuff like forestry. Ive wanted to make a Homemade DIY Ponsse Forestry simulator, I know theres joysticks n stuff online but i want it to be 100% diy. Thanks in advance
Are you able to update this for the latest SimHub. I can't get my SimWind working. The screens have all changed. Thanks
Can this work with Flight Sims like DCS World?
Came to youtube to search how to hand stitch a steering wheel cover. Oh look a new amstudio sim video. Watched the whole thing. Maybe it's time I buy a 3D printer.
Hey Chad! Yeah they are pretty handy for projects.
Can i use 5.5 dc jack to usb?
Awesome idea! Any idea on making a H-shifter using real car components?
Sounds good!
Use some kind of fwd shifter like a vw shifter for example because rwd shifters are usually a rod going directly into the trans so you won't be able to do much without the trans.
can u make a Nokia 5110 LCD sim hub tutorial?
How would you do this with a 4 pin fan ive been trying everything and its not working
Can it be used with truck when you shift only wind ? Do you understand? Sorry bad english
And how to do that btw
My g25 wheel encoder is broken :(
Tried to get one 3d printed by a specialized company but they told me it was too precise, but I really don't want to spend 30$ on the brass one.
Thanks for this new video! Question.
I realized your button box with 32 functions tutorial. Everything works perfectly.
Can I buy the "motorshield" card and use my Uno card from my button box for this tutorial ?
Or SimHub remove my button box configuration if i try ? (This will allow me to have only one USB used. (Button box + wind simulator (and i think add vibrator pedal)) :)
no idea ? :)
Why do u want to run the power from the top board and not the bottom board?
Damn boy next step is real car i guess
