  • The continuation of part 5 on the Connecticut river paddlers trail. Check out Americas longest spanning covered bridge, Vermont state campground Wilgus and delicious venison stew. Some high wind kept us paddling hard to the finish at Hoyt's landing.

Wilgus is a hidden gem of a park. My club has called the group area at the south end home for as long as I can remember. Can't wait to get back on the river!

Agreed! It's a small park, but it's almost never crowded or loud. Very beautiful spot for sure. Thanks so much for watching my friend. Best wishes.

It was hard watching you guys roughing it like that. Just Bannock and Stew like that for a meal, how can anyone even survive. LOL The 400' cover bridge was cool. Here in Canada we have the Hartland Covered Bridge in Hartland, New Brunswick, it's the world's longest covered bridge, at 1,282 feet long, it was a great site to visit a few years back. Great video Kevin.

I love covered bridges. Wish towns still made them. Crazy carpentry skills back then.
Over 1000 feet! That must be a site! Thanks for watching my friend.

Looked like a fun trip! Making me hungry with all that next-level camp cuisine, bro. 🍲🍞😋Thanks for taking us along. Great job of filming, storytelling and editing, with excellent music choices/edits as well. Already looking forward to your next one. Take care and ATVB.

Great video! What Hornbeck do you have? How do you like the Yeti Roadie? I have a 12’ Classic.

First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to watch!
I have a 14' Hornbeck "NewTricks" it's super fast. I've always owned cheap coolers. It's hard for me to spend that kind of money on a simple cooler. But I don't regret it one bit. The roadie s nice because it's taller than it is long. So it takes up less space in my little pack boat. It stays cold up to three days in the summer so now I can bring perishable food for a long weekend trip. It's size also works great as a table in camp. Best wishes my friend.
