- In this video, I show you how to turn off the traction control in a Mazda 3. The traction control system is actually called DSC, and turning it off is a very simple process that only involves pressing the button. All that you have to do is press the DSC Off button to turn off the traction control, and you can verify that the system has been turned off by looking on the dashboard for the illuminated light! Please drive with caution when you have turned off the DSC system on your Mazda 3!

I have a 2011 mazda 3 i with MT. DSC button present, but won't turn off if I press the button. Im sure it is wired and working as it shows in my scanner, but idk why it won't toggle On/off.

Does DCS OFF also apply to ASR function? Meaning, it turns off the function that prevents the wheels from spinning when accelerating agresivly?
I believe that the wheels will spin when DCS is turned off! So I think that the answer to your question is yes.

Just be carefull, i turned it off in mine, drove through a little hole in the road lost traction again and spun the Front wheels through the turn like a maniac, was fun lol

Ac Acdc by default It's Always on, so everytime you turn the engine on you have to turn it off ✌️

Terrible. That does not fully disable DSC. Try autocrossing one and you can feel the car fighting you the whole time (with DSC off)
