Interesting way of announcing your gate arrival--"And with that, welcome to NOLA!" Not too often we see you landing to the east with the lake on our left. That highway and interchange while on final, must've been an engineering marvel to build within that swampy, marshy area, can't imagine the number of mosquitoes and the New Orleans summer heat! Are you sure you don't want to continue on to DAL? :) What state livery was that during gate arrival?
Yeah, it’s a really short taxi after landing on runway 12 to the new terminal. Not much time to make that arrival announcement for the FA’s! And no, but funny enough I’d be heading to DAL on my very next flight a few days later! And that was Florida One at the end, a bit ironic…
