Dialect indicates a yank, so big handfuls of bias here,. Having flown the "Dreamliner" on 4 occasions I cannot even sleep , let alone dream on the noisiest aircraft even flown in. I avoid flights if this aircraft is scheduled given the build quality is somewhat Lego oriented. Airbus any day.

NEO should be based primarily only on the engine manufacturers themselves products but not to apply on the airframe manufacturers . Should Boeing go ahead & produce 757neo or 767neo, sure make sense "NewEngineOption" etc. Basically the A330neo still retained the old aluminum airframe but with newer tech engines, no significant changes. The B787 is a complete all new design the latest in lighter plastic composite body & of cos coupled with a wide range of newer tech engine options to choose from...NEO.??

As a window seat flier, I'm A330neo all the way. Wider cabin and two seater configuration makes for a far more comfortable experience. Just returned on a 12 hour flight and the 330 exceeds all expectations.

Was originally booked on a Lufthansa 747 and was excited because we don't have many more chances to fly the queen on the skies. But the A330neo was a better experience. Virgin fly both and theyve chosen the 330 over the 787. The 787 is too expensive if youre flying sub 9 hour sectors. Hence comparing it to the 339 is rubbish. The 359 is Airbus' answer to the 787.....and its a much, much better aeroplane.
