Fang Hunt Hong Lu bothers me so much because of 1 thing: his on use conditional. If the conditional was just even 1 count higher than it currently is he'd function so much smoother with the rest of the rupture team. Having the exact same conditional as cinq and devyat really hurts his useability.
It’s actually debatably worse because you no longer apply any rupture and just get a coin power bonus. I believe it’s missing the text that says it doesn’t drain rupture.
Okay I'll say, Barber Outis has some really strong usages, at least in the setup I have. She's one of the stronger Bleed IDs and her damage is very similar to Lob Ryoshu and Ring Yi Sang, even against sin neutral enemies. In Lux7, where you fight bloodfiends but they are sin neutral, I got some crazy hits with her S3 specifically (post nerf). So right now Lux7 is sin neutral and pierce weak today. However, with a lust & gloom team, I got her to do 473 at 30 scissors (3 atk weight) without her +1 coin power, and 407 at 20 scissors (2 atk weight) with her +1 coin power. This is on 2 runs in a row, and it consistently gets to that high whenever you can stagger the enemies (which she pretty consistently does) during the skill. Again, this is in Lux, not MD, both times with minimum setup (just her status and passive), and the enemies are only weak to pierce, not Glut or Lust. The team was Barber Outis, Red Eyes Ryoshu, Ring Yi Sang, R Meursault, N Faust and Hook Hong Lu. It is possible to use KK Rodion, especially in boss fights where Sanguine Desire matters more, but she's a worse ID overall. Try this for yourselves and let me know. But yes, even post nerf, she is still one of the best bleed IDs we have right now. And it's mostly thanks to her insane amount of offense level up.
An additional detail: This is the team I used against the boss in 7-34. She is still very good in that fight. I beat it first try too, the only difference was that I swapped out Hook Hong Lu I think for Middle Don. So it's perfectly doable to use bleed and her against that boss. The thing about higher bloodfiends drinking first is only among allies anyway.

Much like Rupture current state, She's a really good bleed attacker, but the bleed team still needs a real support rather than let the game holds its hand to rise like canto 7 and md.
Good News, in Barber Outis’ uptie story, it’s basically revealed (via story log portraits) that Rodion will be getting a Bloodfiend ID based on the Part II Boss.
Hong Lu is just a worse 7 Heathcliff in terms of rupture application/maintenence but he also has access to Lasso and Effervescent Corrosion to compensate so right now he's okay to help fill out a rupture team. If you want to make Devyat Rodya work for long fights you probably want fodder 00s like him to die off once they've served their usage anyway.
After that busted Mersault ID PM needed to intorduce some potential man and woman to the game. And I believe they will both get good once we get the full Bloodfiend family. I am 130% sure Don's ID will be the pillar that will hold it all together just like BL Mersault or Buttis with their op passives. Havent reached the end of second part yet so I dopnt know who we will get but should be fun.
I am pretty sure Don will just hog ALL bloodfeast for herself, game literally tells you not to stack bloodfiends outside of MD with how depraved bleed is of potency and count

the way bloodfeast literally tells you not to stack multiple bloodfiends together unless it's MD where you get 10 Limbillion Bleed potency and count in 1 turn
Honglu makes me so sad, i was really hoping that after we saw the kit preview that Lasso's passive was gonna be another Dimension Shredder Yi sang Passive making Honglu not be horribly negative... Sigh... Alas.. mr.potency...
@poposao1 Just a theory, but it is highly likely in the uptie story if you check the logs for the person speaking to Outis, which shows ?????? It just shows an image of Rodion with the ?????? Under it. Maybe she'll get the new boss I'd. Looking at the colors.

I do run a full bleed team so Outis is fun, especially since she is the only bloodfiend ID rn meant she drinks all the bloodfeast. Can’t wait for priest Gregor and Dulcinea Rodion(Edit: PM please make her live up to the actual boss version, let her be bleed’s savior as the boss did to us! I beg of thee!)
I don't think bloodfiends will synergies with each other since they will be stealing bloodfeast from eachother, so i think you will only be able to fuel 1 or 2 of them in a team
So after going through Barber Outis uptie story, it seems likely that the next ID will be Parade Master Rodion which means Rodion will finally have a proper bleed id to go with her Sanguine Desire EGO.
Uh yeah it's because in outtis barber id story it strongly hints that rodion is the next ID bloodfields coming, and given who it is it makes Rodion would be get it.
I am calling it right now. Don will get a new [000] ID that can inflict a lot of Bleed and or Rupture stacks via a new unique Status that combines the two. The downside is that she inflicts Bleed on her allies.
I haven't tried Outis in the new story levels yet, but she has been really strong in Thread and Exp Lux. She fits into my bleed team really well. I have Ring Sang, Captain Ishmael, Lob Corp Ryoshu, Rhino Mersault, N Corp Faust and Barber Outis.
It’s a shame barber outis doesn’t seem too useful right now. Maybe if they just made her get more charge or increased her coin numbers she’d be able to replace Ring Pointilist Student in bleed

I dont think people realized how much bleed count ring outis bring to the table. Unless they realease a id that inflict like 4/5 bleed count consistenly, Barber isnt replacing ring
Honestly this Outis seems really strong....the problem is it replaces the best Count inflicting unti we have in Ring Outis. So unless Bloodfiend Don ends up being like, the Goddess of Bleed Count, we might be struggling a bit, probably will end up forced to run like Rhino Meursault just for some extra Count
With every passing ID, I hope and pray so much that whenever uptie V comes out it will just absolutely machine gun unbreakable coins into all IDs, past and future, and a decent amount of EGOs. Why else do all the bloodfiend enemies this canto (especially the Barber) have unbreakable coins and yet Outis version doesn't have a single one? I want every 00 to have a least 1 unbreakable coin somewhere in their kit, and every 000 to have BARE MINIMUM 2 of them. Please PMoon, it'd be so cool.
unbreakable coins are a way for PM to balance the new enemies and to nerf our team comp for the next railway so we can't bring all dpses and burn everything, now someone has to eat the attacks and tank ids can shine. It's unlikely the many ids will get them because, in my opinion, they are more an enemy thing or at best a defensive thing.
Since UA-cam keeps deleting my comment for some reason (there isn't a single curse or even slightly mean thing on it, why UA-cam?) TLDR, I'm not saying to put UCs on single coin skills or put multiple UCs in others, I'm just saying a single UC in every other 2+ coin skill would be neat and wouldn't further bust any already broken mechanics, it would just allow for a slight bit more progression into a fight in case of not great RNG. Honestly, if the only thing offered with Uptie V was UCs implemented like that everywhere, it'd actually be pretty underwhelming.
The boss in part 2 can give bleed to her allies, so.kaybe it will be like BL Meursault where he gives Poise, but instead here with give bleed to other bloodfiends.
I wish Outis didn’t only have sewing target on s2. Also why is ring Outis like better for count than her bruh. Surely the buffs have to be very tremendous. Like other sewing target appliers and stuff
00 ids have tended to be more supportive so ring outises higher count makes sense but barber outis has some insane damage every fight in part w ended with her having delt 45+ percent of total damage
