Mr.Nola's Glitter
nice !
Love your show...especially your bubbly personality. I ventured making wood grain long stem and short wine glasses. I have a mahogany look. Some I used rub on butterflies and green glitter as moss. The look stunning. I did the same with the tumblers.
Yes your there
There is Purple Heart 💜 pine
N purple is my fav too n cobalt blue
I just invested in a smudger and a floofy brush!
Happy hair 😃
Yes I can see you and hear you
Wow
That cranberry is fabulous!!
I just watched this video for like the 3rd time and I was thinking about how the bottom part comes out round! What if you started more in the middle of the tumbler and make it bend over like a waterfall?! Just curious of how that would look!! (I’m going to give it a try too! Love your style and creativity too girl !!
Yep
ProcrasCreationDIY is one who uses the makeup brushes for wood grain. Not sure if she’s the one you had seen it from but thought I’d let you know!
You could mix Carmel n purple not for whole thing but in sections n knots
Purple is my absolute favorite color!!!!!
Thank you for showing this technique. I definitely am going to try
Looks great! Thanks so much for sharing!
My husband said the paper towel spot looks like a chain saw skip across and the imperfection you covered on the brown, looks like sap dripping from knot. Totally impressed and love your attitude.
OMG!!!l You are my spirit animal!!!
Love your technique for the knots! Thanks so much for sharing with us!
Makeup brushes, never would of thought to use those for woodgrain. Great idea!
This is so cool thank you for showing us!!!
I love your tutorials 😍. I couldn't figure out the rings till yours. Thank you so much
The cranberry is gorgeous! I used a pink base painted cup w/ red alcohol ink for the wood grain then put black (water slide) silhouette roses on it, came out beautiful!!👍
Rachel, when I do my woodgrain I use chip brushes.. thier the best
Thanks for the tip! :)
The purple would look amazing as a peek a boo with a glittered base...I'm going to definitely try this.
I just placed my first 2 orders, im so excited 😁

sooo digging your glasses!!! they're so cute!
The cranberry looks exactly the same color as cedar. How beautiful..
How do you seal b4 you epoxy the cup without the ink ruining?
I saw the same lady, but in my mind it really wasn't a tutorial. I like the way you talk through the steps you are doing.
Latte, tim holtz and teakwiid togther are great
Hi from Australia xx
I know this is a silly question but did you spray paint the cups first?
“The can of lies”😂😂😂 I feel you girl!
Yes
Does it have to be alcohol ink can you do it with water base acrylic paint
It holds a can of lies. LOL! You crack me up.
I just tried my first! Thank you so much for your videos- I’m learning a ton! Question: do I need to do anything else before epoxy?
How about cherry wood
UA-cam Time Warp.
I know I'm late watching this replay but I was wondering if you could do the rings on the bottom of the kozie using the same method that you do to make the free standing knot holes?
I don't see why not! I think it would work great!
After watching about 4 of your amazing videos why do I get this feeling it's like a make up tutorial. I think no problem I can do this and then I end up looking like a racoon.
Haha! Practice makes perfect! Just like eyeliner!
😂😂😂
Can you do a drift wood- Wood grain tumbler?
This is a wonderful tutorial! Thank you! BTW, how many pairs of glasses do you have? You've always got stylish and cute glasses on! I LOVE THEM!!!
What kind if alcohol do I use since we no longer can find 90% isopropyl alcohol them on the shelves.
I believe you can get a similar effect with the Tim Holtz Blending solution!
❤️
I used pitch black ink and it turned green under epoxy🥱are there any other dark inks that turn green under epoxy? Also do we have to seal the ink before we epoxy? Please help🤗
We definitely recommend the Mantilla Black from Pinata as a black alcohol ink. It doesn't turn green under epoxy! Also, sealing wood grain before epoxy is really up to you! If you would like to err on the side of caution, you can seal with hair spray or a clear spray paint!
Boy You have lost so much weight looking good girl! I love watching your video's
The top knot , the dark area looks like it was sliced off a tree and that was the bark left on the slice.
It's called Purple Heart wood
Woodglut Blueprints has some very useful blueprints with all the details you need.
HI
Could I use colored tumblers
You could but I definitely think the color would effect the outcome of the wood grain. Also if there's texture to the cup and it is not smooth, you may have a harder time brushing on the inks and creating the effect. Perhaps you could apply a thin layer of epoxy first to smooth it out if that is the case!
The alcohol does it matter what kind or % you use to make the knots
Some crafters say to use 91%
@@mr.nolasglitter8094 is it rubbing alcohol or just 91 % alcohol
Hi! That’s ceramic?
If I get a big bottle of the epoxy for making the cups, can I use a pump for it it is it to thick?
It is common to use pumps with epoxy if you can find ones that pump evenly and fit the bottles your working with! I haven't had too many problems with it being too thick!
There is a purple wood. I can't remember the name.
