I want to be you when I grow up. I was telling my daughter earlier that if I were younger and better looking I’d be selling glitter on UA-cam like Rachel at Mr. Nola’s Glitter. I know it’s hard work but you make it look so fun. Love you girl!
This video was such an awesome find for me. I certainly appreciate all you have done here. I'm so excited. I just bought your Glass Coat Epoxy and the Speed Dry Epoxy that Luxinda referred from MrNolas site. I was concerned about a tumbler I was working on so I tried the Glass coat following this video exactly and it came out perfect!!! Thank you so much for sharing and being so thorough in your tutorial. Now I have to find your Speed Dry Epoxy one. LOL
Your epoxy is seriously THE BEST! I never thought that I would find an epoxy better than My previous epoxy but along came you! Thank you so much!
I'm blind too! I put a shelf at eye level and that fixed my measuring woes! Can't wait to try the speed dry! 🤩
When you let the epoxy rest just before you put it on your cup hit it with the torch. It pops the bubbles that have risen to the top. Also on popsicle sticks rub epoxy on the stick let set up. Then you can use it and it's sealed no bubbles from stcicks. Saves & reuses sticks less waste.
Love the hair colors
I like the coffee turners because I hate throwing things away, I’ve used those silicone “brushes” too if I’m mixing a lot of epoxy. I ordered your epoxy but I haven’t used it yet because I have a gallon left of my old kind so I’m glad you’re doing this. There are clear cups with measurements on them too, you can get them on Amazon and use them over and over, the marks on the big cups are black and easy to see.
I tried it this week. I knew when I used too much heat and had 3 fisheyes. The second try was perfect. I LOVE it.
Love your tutorials. You are so laid back and are easy to follow!!!
Thank you @Mr.NolasGlitter for all the words of wisdom. Just finally put on my first coat of your epoxy I’ll let you know how it did!
I love this epoxy and have already placed my 2nd order!! Thank you for adding this video which helped with learning about the degasser that is in the product. I do not have any bubbles with the glass coat and it makes it hard to takes pictures of my products (which is a good problem to have!!) Thank you again!!!
Best epoxy I have ever tried! No micro bubbles over my vinyls. I did get fish eyes when I was over aggressive with heat- I have learned this epoxy requires very little heat due to very few bubbles.
I just got my “mr. Nola “ glass coat epoxy, I absolutely love it and I’ve used everything out there!!! It is low odor and beautiful shine!! Can’t wait to try the quick set epoxy!! Thank you Rachel, I enjoy watching all your videos!!! I Feel like we are best friends 😍😁😁
Love your videos, I've learned so much. Just wish you were closer to south Saskatchewan. Canada
Thank you so much. I am a newbie and I love this craft.. I am watching many videos to learn techniques. However, most are "perfect" with no epoxy issues. So you covered so many issues I am having. First, to much epoxy, my area temperature 🌡was too cool for stainless tumblers. Also, I used heat for bubbles (heat gun); separation and fish-eyes. Now I'm 👍now. Next I will experiment to see what epoxy will be my favorite. Thank you again 💓.
I used your epoxy and I lived it! Is my first time doing a tumbler with epoxy and it turn out great! I didn’t smell anything much, I was afraid of that.
This was very helpful. I've used this on a couple tumblers. I'm totally new at this. And they turned out pretty good. Can you explain how you do the rim of the cup? Some sand to see a bit of stainless steel. How do I know it's sealed? Also, when are you getting more of this epoxy back in?
I want your glasses!!!!!!!!
I’m watching this because I just got my epoxy today. I’m so excited. I got the tips. Do I need to cut them ? Or were they supposed to come ready to squirt the epoxy out of them. I just don’t want to mess them up. Thanks. Watching this to see if u say anything about it in the video. My first order today and I’m not disappointed!!!! It is super awesome!!! The little bags have mr Nola on them. So cool.
Game changer! Thank you for this tutorial
You inspire me so much!! I wish I was half as good as you.
ok I've got to know how you change that screen and stuff!! Just getting started on YT!
I use a silicone face mask applicator, they work great. Love your tutorials!!
I mix both of my part A and B epoxy in the same medicine cup. Mark the 10 ml line and the 20 ml line. Put B in first so it is easier to mix.
OMG I love Girl Scout cookies!!!! My favorites are Thanks A Lot, so sad they did away with them. I can’t wait to try your epoxy
Thanks for the tutorial! How long do you let the tumbler turn for?
I too have a hard time seeing those lines when measuring. I use those scoops that come in the baby formula. They are 1 ounces. I have 2 different ones I use over and over. I spray alcohol in them and wipe them out immediately.
YAY! you back!
Thank you for this
Fauncy Fauncy!! 💕this!
Will using a scale to measure parts work as well?
So the glass coat is the epoxy for everything you do to the cups? I am so new to this.
Can you weigh the epoxy instead of measuring? I just ordered Clear Coat for the 1st time - it’s waiting for UPS to pick it up from you 🤩
When will y’all be restocking the epoxy it’s sold out and I want to try it 😃
Should I heat my epoxy before I put it on my tumbler. I’m a newbie. I have tried three brands but they all seem to be wavy with fish eyes when they settle. I’m thinking maybe it’s too cold here. I’m in Scotland and I can’t get a hold of your epoxy
I’m in Canada on west coast and have similar weather ! I don’t have this epoxy yet but the one I’m using I warm up part A it seemed to help
Need to know how to make that sugar scrub
Can I use this resin for notebook molds? Always looking for a resin that cures rock hard.
Hello sweet girl. i love your art 🎨🎭
When using a candle warmer, can I just set the cup of resin on it, If so do I need to worry about cup melting?
Do you have any idea when you will have the epoxy back in stock? I think I keep missing it because I have not seen it in stock yet 😕
So the directions say to mix for 1-2 minutes, how long do you normally whip it?
Hey Ms Rachel
Me too, Thin Mints🥰lol
I ordered the large size and the pumps didn't work. I wasted so much epoxy try to get it going. Any information to make the pumps work. I have been loving it just thought the pump option was nice.
So when is the epoxy coming back in stock?
I've found if I heat my cup slightly, it raises any bubbles and keeps my epoxy layers thin on the cup.
I just ordered a week or so ago to try; I have to say this; this is the FIRST epoxy to where I get NO micros on my holo vinyl.. total game changer.. those micros are almost non existent with this stuff!
Hello 👋🏽 do you still sell the speed dry epoxy?
Rachel remind everyone those pudding cups we all buy make great little cups for mixing epoxy.
Great idea!!
How long do you need to spin after applying epoxy?
I had some bubbles that kept popping up in the same spot. I hit it with heat and they’d just pop back up?
Do you always have to wait the 7-10 minutes after mixing.
Hi Miss Rachel
Where do you get it at ?
I am late to the game, but just received my first order of glass coat. My question is about the torch. I have one that I have to fill with the butane...does that work or does it need to be the one that is for kitchen use....I guess I am asking if propane vs butane will make a difference???
That’s a great question. Ever get an answer?
@@bntinkerbell nope!! You??
Well….. I did a bit of research myself. And another epoxy company said that propane burns hotter than butane and if the bubbles can be deep which means you have to keep the butane or heat gun on the epoxy longer which can cause the epoxy to soften and cause ripples. So my guess is propane would be best in quick short blasts.
@@bntinkerbell awesome!! Thank you!!!
How much is your air brush
I have a question about molds... I see people adding powder inside and they say it keeps from getting air bubbles on the mold side. This doesn't make sense to me, please advise.
When will there be a new stock of epoxy in the online store?
Also curious, came looking for that same info. Can’t wait to try it out!
Join the Facebook group they have announced random restocks there. However, they are looking at late May or a early June for restock.
Do you have any epoxy that are not real smelly I have asthma and mr. Nola's quick dry epoxy does it have a bad smell
I have to ask how do you get epoxy off your skin.
Both my pumps leak. I keep a cup under though.
Use olive oil and some dawn soap, will remove all epoxy and good for your skin.
How do you spell the name of the company where you get the 1 oz plastic cups?
Allegro
Is this safe to use around kids and pets? Do I need a mask?
I need to know this as well!
Hi did you guys ever find out any info?
I like putting the line to the back. I am 76 so my eyes aren’t what they use to be.
Is this toxic? Do i need to wear a face mask. I live in a small loft.
Man I just can’t pay $20 for shipping!
I have your apoxy but my part B looks really yellow is that normal
same here...wondering if I should add some blue tint?
Me too ...We love the epoxy so far, but getting nervous with it starting to yellow. Do you have storing recommendations.
When I first got mine I put the pumps in mine then I couldn't get it to come out so I tried taking the pump out well needless to say I wasted so much.
Due to the de-gassing agents in the epoxy, there will be a slight yellow tint. However as soon as you mix the two parts together it's clear! It will not show up yellow on your cups!
@@mr.nolasglitter8094 thanks ! LOVE it so far!
Your clicking the igniter over and over on your torch for no reason cause your torch is constantly burning anyway
Eleventy billion😂😂😂 for 2 bucks,that’s a lot...😂😂😂
