Easiest ways to level up for everyone on Dragoon Level.
Dart- if you master him well and fight plenty, he’ll reach dragoon level 5 before he masters Madness Hero.
Rose- Dragoon Level 5 before mastering Demon’s Dance
Shana/Miranda- Wargod’s Sash with her shots.
Lavitz/Albert- Mastered Flower Storm before attaining Dragoon Spirit. Just stick with that Addition.
Haschel- Spirit Ring or Wargod’s Sash. Even better if you get the Energy Girdle from Giganto Home. Summon 4 Gods.
Meru- Equipping the Pretty Hammer and Wargod’s Sash with a mastered Cool Boogie nets 495SP, the most one can gain.
Kongol- Use Spirit Potions on him always. Wargod’s Sash and Speed Up.
Whichever one that needs the level up, let them attack and let everyone else Guard. D Levels progress faster for the character you need them to.
Wich makes madness hero useless, only interesting for the ultimate combo
Wow this is insane. I now believe a level 5 Dragoon before Freybrand now and that is scary....
I actually did that with pure grinding. In Feyrbrand's area there is an enemy, who can negate physical damage. I tried to find a fight, where there's two of them and used defense, until one of them used the shield. Then attacked the one with the shield. I did that for several hours ad had D5 with Dart and Rose before Feyrbrand. xD
I have a different method of raising the levels of dragoons in the game, in the valley or corruption or whatever it's called, ( I don't remember specifically off hand), it's that place with all the giant floating rocks that you have to pass through to get darts red dragoon spirit back. Anyways in there, there is this creature that kind of looks like a spider. It has a ball shaped body for the eye and 4 legs sticking out from the top. Well if you were to equip the jewel that let's you do auto additions and attack it only when it uses it shield, you still gain sp infinitely as long as the shield is active because physical attacks don't work when it activates them. Since physical attacks gain sp, you can do this for hours raising the levels of all your dragoons and just defending when the shield isn't up.
ahh yes! any monsters that does "physical attack barrier" can give you infinite SP farming in one sitting. but you'll have to be extremely patient for it. because the monster can sometimes go for a few minutes without popping the barrier thus you'll have to guard during this time.
@@viragegaming938 Yup, it's a run that will make you get bored quickly but it can go up pretty quickly that way.
then again, grinding in itself is boring so I guess it's no different. whatever floats your boat I guess.

Spirit Ring is a good item to have equip to a character you want to reach Level 5 Dragoon.

I did this before, if you used Red Eye Dragon on feyrbrand and the dragoon with him (yeah I’m not spoiling a nearly 30 year old game ) it will one shot them both.
All I did was fight things over and over using the burning rush addition and getting hopelessly lost in the dragon cave. LOL

I still think Shawna should have had additions. Or at least different attacks. Think okay we have a fan of arrows, we have a top-down volley of arrows, we have three arrows on one target. Or just make it to where doing the x button at the right time makes it a headshot instead of just a body shot.
There was literally an enemy that did a bow combo in the arena, to not give her fancy additions was lame

For me i wait til the enemy uses physical attack barrier. Thats how i hot shana lv 5 really early. It does take time since ur waiting. The earliest enemy that can potentially help are lizardman

Legend of dragoon: best game 's story
yes. Legend of dragoon has one of the best, if not THE best stories on playstation 1 JRPG games.
Also like "Chrono Trigger".
there is a tricarotops somewhere at a dead end in that area of the divine dragon, he drops 4k xp if i remember , and he keep spawning , you do this 1 hour if you played online games like uhm wow it takes 2-3 hours to do a mission al the same boring crap , not with LOD in 1 hour lvl 17 or summit wil be lvl 24 you can keep goin

There aren't many Spirit Potions in the game however. At best... this method would boost one character up a level or two. A more reliable method would be to simply select an SP addition like More & More... which would also give you 100 SP, and 150 SP with the Wargod's Sash.
I know it's been 2 years but fyi you can buy spirit potions at the carnival for I think 20 tickets which makes them about 200 gold each
you can also farm the potions and gold at the same time by hunting 00parts between lohan and kazas
Replaying The Legend of Dragoon again and I wanted to get Shana maxed out in Dragoon lvls as fast as possible before she's fucking replaced by Miranda. (God I hate Miranda) But yeah. I knew D lvls were based off of SP but I thought it had to be gained through attacks for it to count. I didn't know you could cheese it with Spirit Potions. Never occurred to me to even try. Also. What music did you use in this video?
well since I figured that dragoon level through SP, I thought that it doesn't matter how it was acquired as long as it is actually acquired. be it through attack or potion. plus it made a lot of sense why the abnormal status "despirit" is actually a bad thing. it made perfect sense. oh and a personal note: yes I hate Miranda as well. from the animation of until the voice acting on attacks even the dragoon transformation animation, Shana does it better. as for the song it's entitled: "Link" by Jim Yosef.
Honestly don't need to be a high dragoon Early. Takes the fun out of it. As the game itself on its own is not that hard
I usually end up that way anyway since I find the additions more fun than using the dragoons. Beating almost every boss without the giant damage attacks from transforming amounts to a ton of extra SP over the course of the game.

Maxing out additions is the other way to brake the game.
If you can land them then you deal out more damage in human form than dragoon.
Even better, you can level up SP and get gold at the same time by farming 00parts. He always drops a spirit potion and 600 gold every time. You can fill up your chest with spirit potions and pump additions on his ass..

just us the item equipment that give SP when hit with a magic atk let 2 die and defend after lower emy to red so they use magic on u
And you can’t expend any Dragoon levels to build SP for leveling dragoons, right?
not necessarily. regardless if your SP gauge is full or not, as long as you're accumulating SP it should stack up to the total SP you've earned. with of course the exception of if the dragoon level is at max rank.

@@PressStartMark the only way to buy spirit potions is through lohan. it costs 20 tickets per bottle. alternatively, you can farm them by killing either 00PARTS or mermaid from the undersea cavern.

Only way you can attain them is in Lohan on Disc 1 with your date with Shana. You must have 20 Tickets.
You may also use a Sachet on 00PARTS when you encounter him in the Southern Serdio Region. Grants 600 gold and a Spirit Potion.
So... you just use the SP potion.... and it will level up the dragoon? There's no trick to it?
Yes. Or use additions that produce much SP. Equipment helps too.

Is there anyway to transform to divine dragon early other than using cheat device? Like a new game plus or sth like that?
Not that I'm aware of. It really has to be through cheats since this game doesn't have NG+
There is a mod for that, but it's glitchy.
