I was told that I had bone on bone and that there was nothing that could be done except eventually a knee replacement. After I started working with you on your utube videos, my pain is just about gone, only a little discomfort once in a while. You can do it!
I started taking 5000mg of fish oil tablets per day several years ago which greatly helped the arthritis in my knees. I still have some trouble getting up from sitting but found if i strecth my legs out for a minute or two before getting up its a lot easier.

Wait wait wait wait..,. Really respect what you have. But. I am 70 years old. Had this problem plus some others. I started taking 3300 mg of collagen everyday. After 1 month no more joint pain. In fact I was active before but I feel as good joint wise as I was in my 30s. Also all the other benefits my skin became more flexible again my hair started getting thicker. And everybody now ask me what am I doing because I look so much younger and healthier that ever. COLLAGEN!!!! It truly is a miracle

Before I got up and out of bed this morning I decided to do some of these leg movements. Had recalled seeing the short video of this and actually tried it. Usually think of that video after I get up all wobbly. But today I did the few leg exercises and what a difference. Had already started to support myself as I walked out of the bedroom but did not need to lean on anything.
What a difference in walking that makes!! It does work!!
Will be doing these exercises all the time now too.

Yes, they work. These were part of my PT exercises due my torn meniscus. I do them in the bed too. Thank you for all you do. We really appreciate it😊

You have no idea how much I needed to see a video like this one! I am still stunned by how rapidly stiffness took over my knee. May I ask about getting out of bed? Which exercises help combat the stiffness in that situation? Thank you!

Me too, one from a motorcycle accident in 1984 and the other from a very large baker's cyst that exploded in 2020. Do these exercises but not just b4 I stand up so it's worth a try😊
I too have ' bad knees' over the past 6 months I have made a concious effort to improve glute strength, which has made a huuuuugge difference. Look at El Paso Manual Physical Therapy for great glute exercises for people with bad knees and also
ht physio ( UK) for really easy to follow exercises for over 50s ( regardless of your age!) He teaches you how to use those glutes to stand up and sit down and build strength over time.
i get stiff straightening up from a sitting especially position tight at the back of the knee. I tried this just now and it certainly loosened things up, so I will adopt this daily going forward...thankyou. Also found going up and down stairs is much easier if you don't walk up straight but angle the feet outwards...far less the pressure on the knee...keep the vids going they are so helpful
Alyssa what a to the point effective educational video. It doesn't take space, very convenient for elderly people. Im 65yrs old, recently retired nurse from a very busy city hospital. What a great help! For some reason, wherever arthritis can develop, it seems to have come crashing down everywhere, knees, middle back, neck. Walking is a struggle, and joints seem to get stiff by simply sitting. I do notice just constantly avoiding staying immobile helps. And the “pump “ analogy is very useful.
I tried these exercises on my train ride to my daughters today and they worked. I was able to get out of my sear and walk with ease. 😊Thank you for sharing! ❤

Thank you for this video! I do such exercises as I'm on the train commuting to work which is an hour long ride. Such exercises really help decrease the stiffness of my knees and allows me to get up from my seat with ease and comfortably walk to my destination. Thank you Alyssa!

Tried these amazing slowly but it worked as arthritis in knee.. for me i prefered doing the heel action but it made a big difference to stand up and didnt feel in agony... so thankyou i will continue few times a day as it works just have to take it steady.. thankyou so much

Okay, that is amazing. My job keeps me deskbound or in meetings for hours at a time and standing up is excruciating! I have sever PAD, which makes it worse! These 2 little, easy exercises make standing up so much easier! Thank you, Alyssa!
