you should get 1m subs for sure!!! could you make comparison between godox vl150 vs nanlite for the light please .. those two brands are compete with aputure light if not same its close enough but with cheaper price range which good for other creators would be awesome and also so many people are asking that question godox vs nanlite and as you know not many people has deep knowledge like you, i hope this can give you idea for next content. cheers dude!!
I'm so glad that I watched this video because I was going to get the expensive colorspike but now I can save 300$ and get this AFFORDABLE RGB Tube Lights! Thanks Gerald!
Aunque ya haya visto otras review de este producto, cuando vos subís tu review lo veo siempre. Saludos Gerald! (Soy bilingüe Castellano/Inglés solo quería comentar en castellano para todos los de habla hispana que ven este canal!)
Saw an add from my preferred supplier for this light, looked very nice but nowhere the duration of the battery was found, now watched this video and in less as 10 min I know everything I need to know .. much appreciated for very funny but also very informative video :-) greets from NL :-)
I was about to say that this is some epic crispy voice delivery and I would love to achieve that in my videos. Then he talks about some audio issue. What audio issue?! The base hum is barely noticeable...
Excellent job covering all the main bases; I've been hemming and hawing over a small light for drink photography anyway. I think the Aputure still wins it for me.
Great video as always. The low output of the MC has always been its biggest drawback for me. I've used Aputure F7 forever, and I've been spoiled by it's excellent color and extremely high output. Plus it runs on NP-F batteries or D-Tap. I know that's not apples to apples since it's not RGB, but dat output doh... keep up the good work!
"I'm Gerald Undone... and size DOES matter!" :D Love the little VW Combi writing! Great review too. It's maybe good to mention TLCI or even TM-30 if you have something like the Sekonic C-800 and can test those things, as they are more relevant to cameras than CRI (which is how the eye sees).
I was listening on headphones and thought “is someone mowing the grass in the rain?” Then you explained that is noise was on your end. It’s funny how our brains just make up things for what we think we hear.
Great video. I ended up getting the YC Onion Pudding as desperately needed an LED light and that was literally the only thing the guy had in his shop. It is great for background / mood lighting, but wouldn't suggest using it to directly light your subject. Waiting now for the mc to be back in stock.
Can we have a review on the 15 or 30C please? Also what are your thoughts on whether Nanlite will release a V2 of the larger models soon now that we have a 'version II" of the 6C?
Is there any chance in the future to make a Picture Profile for ” low light situation ” for Sony a7 iii? So we can just choose the exact PP for low light situations.
Great content as always Gerald, I am having issue with the links, both lights appears not available on amazon. just curious because the video is new. any other links you can provide?
I also bought one first week of May for pre-order hoping to get it this week. Have you got hand to Nanlite Forza 60? Any thoughts or do you have upcoming video review about it? And comparison with the Aputure 120D? Im looking forward to it. Thanks
Nice comparison. Were the lights at full brightness in the examples at 7:25? I expected both lights to be a bit brighter or is this due to lower exposure?
Hey thanks for the cool vid Gerald.. I’ve just bought the Nanlite four pack of 15C’s and highly disappointed to learn you have to manually trigger the lightning mode in special effects. This sucks, as I’m a director and don’t want a crew member to have to climb up to the light and trigger them manually!! Epic Fail Nanlite.. if you want people to buy your lights, then please address this issue ASAP!!. Lightning is such a cool feature, but for it not to work as a ‘preset’ should do (automatically) seems really strange to me. Am I the only one? What’s your thoughts Gerald?
I noticed an interesting thing with my 2 PavoTube II 6C and I was interested if you have seen the same. If I set them to 3200K G/M: 0 they show a light that is not looking good at all. It has too much magenta in it. But if I set my larger PavoTube II 15X to the same 3200K G/M: 0 it shows a much more correct color temperature with a warm light. Did you test the CCT color temperatures anything?
Great review as always Gerald. For me the Aperture MC wins! I have it and use it all the time. However, I think availability was surely a challenge for it where I am, how has it been everywhere else? Cheers!
Gerald, the world is in peril. The moment has arrived. The world need for you to open a video about lights with all of them on green and pronouncing the Green Lanterns Oath. That will be the ultimate opening. I'm not going to copy the oath here because out of respect I'll assume that you know it already. I have spoken.
Well the day ligth 5000k is realy bad. To much red on the skin. Can you color correct that... with the internal hue..... or can i only use it for rgb? I wanna get 2 of those tubes for rgb and normal skin tones in music video as background and close up. Will you recommend that gerald
There is now an Undone Discord Server if anyone is interested in joining.🤓🍌

Loved how you showed the comparison on how both lights handle skin tones. Definitely shows me which light is better for projects I work on!
you can easily fix the magenta from the pavotube, adding around +10 to +15 on the G/M dial
Geralds bad audio is better than my best audio
I'm so glad that I watched this video because I was going to get the expensive colorspike but now I can save 300$ and get this AFFORDABLE RGB Tube Lights!
Thanks Gerald!
Shout out to how good your audio sounds even if you had external noise.
Hey Gerald, just wanted to say how much I appreciate your reviews/in depth tech info and your channel as a whole - thanks, Jason :)
The most accurate and in depth video anyone has done for RGB bravo!! Thanks mate
exactly what I was looking for to add some nice lighting on product shots, thanks for the video
We’ve got 2 Aputure MC lights which you can see being used on our channel... very interested in these tubes! Thanks for the video!
I'm Gerald Undone, and I'm definetly a human
Aunque ya haya visto otras review de este producto, cuando vos subís tu review lo veo siempre. Saludos Gerald! (Soy bilingüe Castellano/Inglés solo quería comentar en castellano para todos los de habla hispana que ven este canal!)
Nice looking lights. Definitely have some ideas for them. Thanks for the review Gerald.
"i'm Gerald Undone and I'm absurdly soft!"
@0:50 😁
Thanks
Great video! I left it the ol’ thumbs up 👍🏻
Geraaaaald, stop reviewing such dope lights, my wallet cant take it anymore😂😂 Im still saving up for the Godox VL300 ever since your review😂😂👍🏻
🤣👍 My bad...
Save rather for forza 500, bought it and it’s a portable sun
Saw an add from my preferred supplier for this light, looked very nice but nowhere the duration of the battery was found, now watched this video and in less as 10 min I know everything I need to know .. much appreciated for very funny but also very informative video :-) greets from NL :-)
Thanks for making this Gerald. Im excited to buy the 4 pack suitcase!
I did find this video helpful. thanks for being so thorough.
When Gaffer and Gear did the PavoTube mini, he said he had to run it at green +12 to get skin tones right.
Done! Smashed it mate, love these informative tutorials. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Nice Airplane reference, good review. Thanks.
Great video man! Been looking for the right light, this helps a lot!!
I was about to say that this is some epic crispy voice delivery and I would love to achieve that in my videos. Then he talks about some audio issue. What audio issue?! The base hum is barely noticeable...
Good job with the sound quality here.
“Magnet confidence metric”. My preferred scale for many things.
🤣🤓🙏
Excellent job covering all the main bases; I've been hemming and hawing over a small light for drink photography anyway. I think the Aputure still wins it for me.
Damn, I just picked up a yongnuo yn360 v3 too, should've waited a bit for this video
Sound was fine Gerald.
"I'm Gerald Undone. I'm here to rescue you."
Damn! You are super genius! Thanks for the super clear info gerald. Subbed.

Yeah, I love the Aputure F7 too.
I feel like these would be good as prop lights or music video colour lights...may buy it in the future.
Godox TL30 more quality but more affordable

Awesome review! Love watching your content :) Would love to hear your thoughts on Nanlite Forza 60 vs Aputure 120dii now!
Oh man, I just got an MC a few weeks ago, and it’s wildly useful. But I feel like these two would play really well together. 😎
If you use the app, It's way more usefull to buy a stack of MC's
"I'm Gerald Undone, and keep your hands off my notification bells."

I'm still slumming it with the C-700. 🙃
Haha. Thanks, Paul.
Magnet Confidence Metric... is that English or SI units?
Your voice is so relaxing
Audio is so good!
I was listening on headphones and thought “is someone mowing the grass in the rain?” Then you explained that is noise was on your end. It’s funny how our brains just make up things for what we think we hear.
That would've been trippy! Hah.
still looking for the right light, thank you for the video
Thanks! I was just thinking about whether to buy one of those. I think I will.
Great video. I ended up getting the YC Onion Pudding as desperately needed an LED light and that was literally the only thing the guy had in his shop. So helpful! Thanks for a great and informative video.
I have to tune up my hearing processor to 125% - which radiates a lot of heat :) - thanks for the useful video as always
Can you make a video about practical light flickering and how to get rid of it in camera?
Ive actually been looking at tube lights, maybe I should just pick up the MC for its battery performance!
I was just ordering the nan lite. Love there products.
If possible, it would be great to see a comparison of the Nanlite II 6C with the Quasar Q10
You’d need a 1/8 +green correction gel to fix the nanlite but for most use cases it should be fine
Love the airplane intro!
Hi G, you think we could get a 2022 version of the best portable RGB LED lights? Thanks!
I'm Gerald Undone, and this is the way.
I wish those Aputure MCs were available.
Love it, can't wait to get one!
"I'm Gerald Undone and you just lost The Game."
Great content as always Gerald, I am having issue with the links, both lights appears not available on amazon. just curious because the video is new. any other links you can provide?
Hi Gerald, did you have the chance to try the Falcon Eyes "Irisa" yet?
Great job! It's upsetting that the CRI is listed as 95 but at least at the CT at which GU tried it the CRI was 91.
I'd love to hear your opinion on the Astera and Quasar tubes
Great review!!!
I also bought one first week of May for pre-order hoping to get it this week. Have you got hand to Nanlite Forza 60? Any thoughts or do you have upcoming video review about it? And comparison with the Aputure 120D? Im looking forward to it. Thanks
Have you looked at the Godox R1? I would interested in you opinion on that light.
exactly what i was looking for, MC is better for my shooting style
I just ordered one yesterday. Hope they are good! 🙏🏻
Fuck man i love when you watch on the right and you say LET'S GET UNDONE! TOP!!!
Great detailed video!
Can you make one on FalconEyes Pocket F7?
I Was wondering, how's the DigitalFoto Chameleon Comparing to these lights ? It's much more cheaper
Greetings Gerald.
Can you do Godox M1 comparasion review with Boling P1 and Aputure MC ?
Hello, you told nanlite flickering but on video aputure has these bad flicker stripes all over the screen like all aputure light do.
I've heard the falconeyes f7 is much better in terms of functionality and the output compared to the aputure mc, what's your thoughts on that?
Love my mc's!
quick question: I just got mine, but why is CCT mode is my light warm down in the 2700 range and not at the 6000k plus end? Thank you!
Nice comparison. Were the lights at full brightness in the examples at 7:25? I expected both lights to be a bit brighter or is this due to lower exposure?
Yeah, they were, but the scene was exposed for my regular lighting to give you an idea of the difference between a pocket light and a big COB light.
Gerald Undone Ah ok got it and makes sense. Thanks!
Hey thanks for the cool vid Gerald.. I’ve just bought the Nanlite four pack of 15C’s and highly disappointed to learn you have to manually trigger the lightning mode in special effects. Question, since the PavoTube shifts more towards magenta, can yuo adjust the magenta/green to compensate it?
I noticed an interesting thing with my 2 PavoTube II 6C and I was interested if you have seen the same. If I set them to 3200K G/M: 0 they show a light that is not looking good at all. Did you test the CCT color temperatures anything?
AputureMC or this?
Where did you find nanlite underwater housings?
What do you think about the Godox TL30?
Have you tried the Falconeyes F7?
great review
I didn't like the nanlite and went with the Godox TL30 the magnet was 100x stronger. light output was better as well.
Great review as always Gerald. For me the Aperture MC wins! I have it and use it all the time. However, I think availability was surely a challenge for it where I am, how has it been everywhere else? Cheers!
Gerald! Check out the Forza 60 also!

How it compares to Yongnuo’s wand YN360?
I'm Gerald Undone, and I might be Obiwan..."these are not the reviews you are looking for."
I like that you used the word ferrous haha.
"I'm Gerald Undone and a-wop-bop-a-loo-bop-a-wop-bam-boom"
I read "adorable rgb tube lights".
“I’m Gerald Undone and the G is silent.”
Hello there, quick question. Is the 90$ price for Aputure including tax or not ? And if not, how much it cost with taxes applied ? Thanks guys
That depends on where you live..different cities have different tax rates
Next intro "I"m Gerald Undone, and damn, I need some people to drop some new intros down in the comments"
"I'm Gerald Undone and you can't stop me now"
"I'm Gerald Undone and shut up I'm not crying, you are."
Anyone got a link to anyone with MCs in stock?!?! Got to be the most sold out product of 2020.
