The Real Salsa! : No one even has an idea of what you were trying to say dumbass. The lack of English in your sentences, is astounding. He is right. Vlad should focus more on artist and the stories they have to tell, not the nonsensical social media BS that he spews. He's right. And I'm right in saying you need to take some English classes ... I can't even read what you said phonetically.

Damn man, this Milli Vanilli story has to be shown in a movie & to show & expose the dark side of the music industry from the 80/90s, where Technotronic was another lip-syncing project, just to please the eye. The only thing I remember from Vanilli was that they were potrayed as frauds like it was all their fault.

They deserved the award. It's not about the vocals, it's about being an "artist". An artist is someone who creates something for others to enjoy. Regardless whos vocals they are, they performed, they entertained, and they made those timeless videos, they did more than many so called artists do today.

I truly love Milli Vanilli Rob and Fab to this day that it hurts. In my honest opinion Milli Vanilli was one of the greatest performers in the world of all times. In my eyes they were at the top of the music and entertainment industry next to the king of pop himself Michael Jackson, all others fell below them. Yes they were that good in my opinion. So they lip sync, yet the entire world was not able to tell , they managed to pull it of precisely. That in itself showed the level of talent, how excellent these guys really were. True they lip sync the songs they performed to, but there was nothing fake about their astonishing good looks, their unique dress styles and stage performances, their excellent dance moves and the true love of millions of fans world wide. They deserved to win that grammy award, they should have won an Oscar also. Milli Vanilli Rob and Fab will live on forever in my heart.

These guys didnt realize that they were the main element behind Milli Vanilli, without them the original singers wouldnt have blown up, and the whole thing would've never blew up, no matter how good the music was, it was basically a mirror image of what the music industry is, and thats an illusion, thats why it worked so perfectly, that as long as everything is working together, then thats whats gonna make the biggest impact and be accepted by people, it doesnt matter who sang the songs, it was an idea brought forth and it worked, so then you would get into a discussion about what the real direction of the music industry is, is it about deceit, or is it about entertainment?

See, that's cold. If you say one wrong word to these record execs, they can block everything. They pick and choose who they'll run that bullshit on. Arista Records is known for signing artists knowing damn well that they have low expectations for them. Why in the hell did you sign them in the first place, devil? I always say that they never would've ran that bullshit on my auntie, Whitney Houston. They knew better than to play w/ her money. Pero anyway, Milli Vanilli did what they were told to do and they put in the work. They couldn't even enjoy the fruits of they labor. This ain't no nickles and dimes now. I'm talkin' hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. Now I can see why Daddy (Ice Cube) and TLC and them ended up threatening they rogue asses w/ bats, guns, etcetera. You cannot play around w/ folk's money. Now, most artists have lip-synced, but when it becomes an all the time thing, that's when you enter into a sticky zone. Curiously, Céline Dion, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, etcetera almost never sing live. Whenever they get caught, people curiously claim that they're perfect and rich so it doesn't matter. There was this really good documentary here on UA-cam talking about the ins and outs of lip-syncing, auto-tune, etcetera. For some reason, it keeps getting taken down. Lip-syncing and auto-tune is indeed the norm now. Why else would Justin Bieber vomit on stage while lip-syncing and receive little to no backlash?

A movie needs to me made about their story fa real fa real, its so sad how they were left out to dry while the man who organized this whole thing flake out like a coward. Makes you think about the fiasco that happen to Janet at the superbowl, Janet got all the blame but Justin got off free without a scratch. The music industry can be cruel as fuck.

I don't blame these guys one bit. They signed a legit deal and like always leave it to the fucking label to have some sneaky shit. These guys could have easily been taught how to sing. I'm waiting for the movie! If one is ever made!

I can't understand what would make people believe that Rob and Fab (or any artist for that matter) had this unlimited control and power in the industry. It's stupid to think they created this lip syncing hoax and had the record label at their beck and call, only to back out and leave them to deal with the backlash. Even Michael Jackson and Prince didn't have that type of power back then, no matter how much money they made for their "respective" labels (Sony and Warner Bros). That's why fought so hard to stop their contracts and regain their master catalogs.
I guess this is what happens when people believe everything bad they hear about someone.

You understand that Kanye and Jay z have ghostwriters right? Lupe fiasco wrote part of the black album. Those dudes get whole songs written. Drake literally was pitched a few lines by some random guy for a FEATURE song. People hate on Drake for no reason.

The second Milli Vanilli album The Moment Of Truth that Farian put out, which by its release, the group became an ensemble of studio singers both old and new and guest rappers, is actually pretty good. There are some great songs on it that would have been great Milli Vanilli hits had Rob & Fab still been the face of the group. In America though, the second Milli Vanilli album was never released and instead, Farian created a new group, Try N B, and had them sing much of those second album Milli Vanilli songs on the American release of their only album.
