It was an absolute treat to have you, as always, Forrest! (And thanks for the help with the tank 🤿!) We’ll SEA ya on your next visit 👋😁🌊
Tell me why my cats are cheaper to maintain that something as stupid as a pleco? Filters. Food. Water pH... Fish are literally the dumbest "pet" of all time.
Can't pet them. Can't cuddle them. They just live there in a state of stasis like a prison cell. Hey... Spend a week in your bathroom and you can't flush the toilet.
😊😊@@paintriarchdave7977
You guys ROCK!!!💯💯💯✌️
@@paintriarchdave7977get some cichlids. You can keep them in your toilet and they’ll survive. And they’re beautiful!👍
Dude giving the tour seems to be really getting into it. Dude digs his job for sure.
He's living his best life, and that epic mustache shows it.
@@YochevedDesigns😂😂
Dude fr dude
For real, Man Dude-bro. totally epic. Perhaps even gnarly..@@DIARRHEA-PANIC
I think forest thinks he was giving the tpur
there's something very funny about someone taking a tour of a conservation aquarium and every once in a while during the tour just being like 'damn, i'd love to eat that'
That's the theme of the place and it's awesome
Love how the curator and the handlers wasn't ready for your questions. Appreciate your knowledge as well as your healthy curiosity.
I always love the content Forrest goes over but his enthusiasm for the subjects is just contagious. As a kid marine biology was my dream job, but life went different ways. But being able to see Forrest live the dream I was never able to achieve will do just fine. Keep being awesome Forrest, you are this generations Steve Irwin and we can’t thank you enough ❤
Me too but was bad at school so now i work on a farm 😂
Forrest acting like a kid in a candy shop just running around exclaiming how awesome everything is. That's a testament to how cool this place is
Josh was my neighbor for a brief bit, he’s really knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. Super guy!!
As a Disabled Person Who Can't Travel. I'm Sooo Happy to Be Able to See Places Like This Thru Your Videos... Thank You Soooo Very Much.
I’ve been here and that first aquarium is mesmerizing to stand by. One of those “humans would never experience” things it’s crazy
I really like that Forest doesn’t pretend to be one of those people who pretend to know everything and he’s willing to learn from anyone about anything
Mike is awesome you can see the joy in his eyes just looking at the animals. I get that same look talking to a good friend, it’s amazing to see someone this passionate about their work. He sees these animals everyday and still has that spark in his eyes.
Respect to those Venezuelan farmers, thats humanity at its finest. Saved millions of years of evolutionary development
Those giant isopods remind me of the aliens from Independence Day.
It's just a giant roly-poly!
They're true aliens!
Reminds me of your moms 🐈
@@codynorman8887 no, you must be thinking about your sister again.
Wonders of Wildlife was the first aquarium I ever went to as a child. It was back before the renovation and I was awestruck by everything. I can't imagine what they all have now.
Another awesome adventure! So diverse too, I love when these places commit to care and conservation. Thanks for sharing Forrest and Mike!
I think it’s beautiful that there’s little programs all over the world like the Venezuelan project to bring endangered species back to healthy numbers and we don’t know it’s always nice to hear good news 😊
Shoutout to jess for being wonder women so Forrest can bring us this content!
I'm so jealous of Forest, getting to spend time with Mike!!

Born and raised in Kansas City, I've never heard of this place. I'm so excited to make a trip down to Springfield!!!
Same on both aspects cant wait to take my 5 year old isn't it funny how we apparently have a great gem in our state and didn't know about it
Now, THAT is one gigantic rolly polly if, I've ever seen one! 😃
Amazing video! More of these like that
That is a Beautiful Museum/Aquarium.❤
I only recently started following your channel. I love documentaries and your channel definitely holds my interest. Frankly i didn't expect you to do a video on aquariums. Yeah it's a public aquarium but still not expected. It sounds crazy but I kinda want to see someone do a video with aquarists. There are some really big names in the fish keeper hobby. Channels like Predatory fins and Stingray biology are big deals in the hobby. They have mostly freshwater but they do have some saltwater stuff including sharks. They're in NYC. Another channel, The King of DIY, is based in Nova Scotia. He has stingrays, Asian arrowana and many other fish. I don't see it happening but it would be interesting/cool to see a video put out on the fish keeping hobby in general and focus on some of the good points the hobby has had on some species. There's definitely been some negatives in the hobby. But lots of positives too.
Forrest is a gift to the planet
What I find fascinating, aside from how in the world they got deep sea creatures, is that, as the tour guide pointed out, it's in the middle of the USA. I'd have for sure thought an aquarium like this would be in California, or maybe New York. Heck, maybe even Dubai. It's a super fancy aquarium, and I don't blame the guide one bit for his enthusiasm. That's definitely a dream job for many.
Great video Forest!
It was nice, thank you for the video and it was very educative.
I actually love movies and music because of nature, and I find it all to be beautiful art. Nature is my inspiration for my enjoyment towards making art as well, lol. I don't blame some people for loving nature a lot more than human entertainment, though. Sometimes, a fresh breath of outside in nature is what we need ❤
Really wish we had something like that here in Canada but I can see why we dont, not cheap or easy to run one of these facilities but something I think the public as a whole should be investing in. Not only does it help in our understanding and education of the wildlife but it more importantly helps raise awareness and conservation efforts.
Forrest was giving the tour 😂
Everyones so geeked out i love it
This is a new must visit!!
One blessed man.
This is a dream aquarium for me to see. This is definitely going on my bucket list.
One of the few good things in Missouri. Bass pro starting in Springfield really helped this be made. Would love to meet you next time you’re in state!
i forgot about this place until this video ive always wanted to go. Looks like ill be making a trip there soon, i think my kids would love it.
That first tank is so cool!!
Wow 😮 that place looks amazing
this should be a netflix series, Forrest visiting the world's best zoos and aquariums.
I second this, but why netflix, youtube all the way
@@matisssvehs5094 so the man gets paid. That show is worth mils
Def the best aquarium I've been to!
Definitely going here when I tour Rt 66 next year. This place looks incredible.
Rocky gets dragged out of the water and the first thing he has to hear is Forrest telling him "You smell weird!" 🤣 Poor guy
This was greatness
Just found this channel!! Very interesting stuff.
I would love to visit this place. Awesome video!
You got me with the freaky isopod from the movie The Bay 😂
Love you Forest !

I find it funny that while Forrest is rotating the crocodile, the croc look's like hes about ready for a nap 12:49 lol.

That sea isopod was insane!!!

Hometown love. I went there a couple times but i didnt know it was the largest aquarium. Cool
Worlds largest aquarium is in China. Largest in USA is Atlanta. Sorry that bugged me, had to get it out there. That said, great video and awesome aquarium!
Mike this is absolutely amazing! 😀
*Takes isopod home*
Its amazing just that one diorama of a fishing boat. Would feed 200 people for a year. Amazing how they choose to spend money. Good for you Forrest!
