Absolutely beautiful!!!! Here’s my helpful hint (I use every time I make a tumbler). Before applying your epoxy, insert your foam arm and secure it like you normally would. Using the camera on your cell phone, video it for a few seconds. Then watch it and you can see if it is level or wobbly. Sounds crazy, but it actually works!

I tried to cut it twice and failed both times with it going completely through. Did the 100gm cardstock setting and still wouldn't go all the way through!!!!!!

Does anyone know what scale pattern she used? I love mine but it wastes card stock in between the scales. Also a quick fyi tip!! If you have a Cricut Maker 3 use the Cricut card stock with the sticker backing!!! A huuuuuuge time saver!

Why did you put the vinyl on cardstock? If the backing of the vinyl is thick enough, is that step necessary or is there a reason for the cardstock?

Absolutely love it!! I'm trying this today for sure!! When you cut out the scales... what setting did you use? Cardstock or vinyl???
I know this is a super late response, but I just did this and cut on holographic vinyl and it only cut through the vinyl, not the cardstock too. And I always cut twice. I’m going to try it on vinyl only, no cardstock and put it on glitter setting. Hopefully it works bc this vinyl is expensive!
What do you use for setting on Cricut? I’ve tried cutting twice, but it isn’t going through. SOS, 😂
Same idk what to cut these on!!! My cricut maker keeps shredding regular cardstock
Try putting you settings on custom and going to medium card stock and make sure you use the right color mat. I used the light mat, the blue one instead of the green. Hope this helps

Girl get your vinyl online, Michael’s & Hobby Lobby are too expensive. I love your personality, you’re adorable. I made one of those mermaid scale cups for my granddaughter but she needs one like this. I nearly burned the house down though, a word to the wise, always make sure your alcohol ink is completely dry before you torch a cup, just saying.
Don’t laugh, I had done this hundreds of times, I just got in a hurry and got careless. Thank God for fire extinguishers. Ok you can laugh, it’s funny now, it wasn’t at the time.
