Nick, I have taken a lot of Latin language over the years, and your translations are surprisingly accurate. You have the closest and most correct translations I have seen of anyone. Where have you learned this language?? It feels like you even took a class!
Wow! Where I live Ivy grows everywhere. If you have a small amount in your yard and you don't manage it often it will completely take over and look like a jungle.
I may or may not have been binging your channel for the past hour...You saved me! I recently got two cats bit I also wanted to start a plant collection for a while but was scared to because of the cats. Off to the plant nursery we goooooo. Thank you so much🖤🖤🖤
Peperomia argyreia is one of the first house plants I bought, love the leaves on this plant. I have it on a west facing windowsill and it has been flowering non-stop since the spring.
Hey Nick. I just bought a Grape Ivy...I'm loving it, and its acclimating nicely, I've even taken a plug for a trade! Ty, for the info I bought after watching this video and making sure I could provide what it needs.
Cissus Striata is also an amazingly beautiful plant. It's very common in stores, here in Denmark, but I don't see a lot of mentions about it in english.
Last year, that table with all of the plants that's over your left shoulder had a lot of booze on it, now it's a plant table, what happened to all of your booze? LOL! :D
Thank you Nick, this was a great video, lucky for me I have two cats that totally leave all of my plants alone. But I love the info on each plant, and now a couple have been added to my wish list, lol! I found my pilea peperomoides for 8.99, and then one on clearance for 1.75 that was in pretty good shape, I potted them together and took a couple of babies from the clearance plant, now I just love this plant, so nice and full and growing strong. Thanks again, bye for now.
I like your videos. I'm a huge fan of cissus and I'm delighted to see someone else love them too. Easy plant lists tend to discriminate against over waterers (yes, I did rot a snake plant...), so it's nice that you have a more balanced list. I think it is easier to remember what plant families are safe (because they usually have the same "ingredients", don't they?). I think safe families would be Pilea, Peperomia, Cissus, Hoya and prayer plants. Please correct me if I'm wrong! That way you could show examples within each family. But the list may be shorter ;) Anyway, keep making new videos!
Hi Nick! Another great video! I have a little dog and she has no interest in my plants, but this is very good information for those whose fur babies like to explore their plants. Also, you always give such great information on each plant you talk about and I really appreciate that. Love seeing more videos from you. congrats on being on the podcast. I'll definitely try to watch it, but I'm not familiar with podcasts at all. Thank you for sharing!
Can you do a video on all the different Cissus you own, care, soil mix, watering and propagation? I just got my first Cissus discolor and watched a video on Cissus amazonica -- do you have that one? Love your videos, great t-shirt!
Tap water in Philly comes through lead pipes that comes from the water service pipes that are still in the streets a lot of the time. My husband used to replace water mains in Philly for 33 years, he said you would puke if you saw what was in those water service lines that the water comes through to your faucets and into your body.
Hoyas!!! You need to really-really stress them in order for them to flower... 😅 Our hoya obovata here is still too cute (2 leaves) and she's starting to grow new shoots. 😍 I hope it'll grow like yours.
Hi Nick, would you recommend a couple easy to take care of large plants that are safe for cats? Thank you. I’m new to your channel and loving every video!
Hey Nick. I agree that most calatheas are not easy growers in many indoor settings. However, I've had pretty good success with Calathea lancifolia (Rattlesnake Calathea) in my apartment. It's certainly less prone to tip burn, isn't too terribly picky about light, and even is fairly forgiving about a little dryness at the roots. I was pretty surprised, and even delighted. Have you tried C. lancifolia, and if so, what was your experience like?
I use aquarium water conditioner in my tap water for all of my plants, especially my prayer plants. You used to not grow P. Watermelon so beautifully, what changed?
Can you do a video of common pests you should look for when bring home new plants and management solutions of plant pests?? Plants that have less pest problems?? Thank you.
This the first year we've had issues with mites on ivy in our greenhouse even with watering overhead. It spread onto new guineas before we knew what was happening. ugh
I dunno, man. There's over two hundred wineries/vineyards in my home town and I've never seen a grape leaf look like that 😨 the leaves are usually a bit triple lobed (kind of like a maple leaf) and have much more jagged edges. I'm confused why anyone would compare that to a grape leaf. I could definitely see why the second one is called an oak leaf though!
everytime i see you videos you have more plants in the backgroud, one day im gonna click on one of your videos and youre gonna be a plant.
Your watermelon peperomia is to die for. What a beauty.
I always watch these "pet friendly" plant videos knowing that I dont got no indoor pets 😂💀 but great vid!!!

Thanks for sharing some great info and the new video. You’re spoiling us with a lot of new videos.
Love your videos. I love how you talk about care for each plant as well. Please keep doing it!!
Nick you are such a kind and generous plant friend, I'm so thankful for you :)
Hey, Nick!
Thanks for getting into the name explanations. I find it super interesting. 😊
Wow! Where I live Ivy grows everywhere. If you have a small amount in your yard and you don't manage it often it will completely take over and look like a jungle.
I love that the etymology of the Chinese money plant is “plant that looks like a plant that looks like pepper”

I love the botanical bro t-shirt 😁 Please keep all the great videos coming! Super informative and always entertaining!
I love your videos and your research on how safe plants are. Thanks for this video :-)
❤❤❤ Thanks for the compilation. You did a good job. I love the watermelon looking plant.

That moment when plant addiction save you from alcoholism 😂😂😂
My friend lives out in the country and has well water. I bring empty jugs out there and fill them up for my plants and I to drink. Best water ever! :)
OMG!! I absolutely died with your excitement over the calathea! ♥️🙌🏼 I have one hiding behind my adansonii and xanadu and it LOVES that spot.

Great info Nick, I struggle a little with my polybotra, but I’m going to use your tips to see if I can get it turned around
❤❤❤ You can place a stick in the pot, and tie the plant to the droopy one.
Angel/Trinidad.
❤❤❤
I just ordered a hoya obovata! I can't wait to get it! I love it!🙂
Hi nick... nice info from you...I shared your video on my facebook account...
Great video bud. Thanks for sharing

Can't stop looking at the plants behind you. I'm trying to figure out what each one is. lol

Hi Nick, both plants I bought from your shop are doing absolutely wonderful. I got the peperomia frost, but can't find any information about it.
Look up peperomia ripple. From my understanding they're essentially the same, at least I've been treating mine like my ripple and it's great!
@@joannapats6843 Thank you
Nice information 👌👍😍💚
Very helpful 👍

grape ivy i love, love love, hard to find, these days, 30 years ago i had tons, of them
very good! x
love grape leaf ivy, so easy to grow, but i cant find it any more
My pilea cadierei never grew! It started out very tiny and it would shed a leaf with every new leaf. After about a year, it got overwatered at died. 😩
Hi Nick!😊
❤
😍😍😍
nice
😍
My cat loves trying to eat plants-especially fake ones, though. I should definitely not get a snake plant.
💙💙💙💙💙💙
Are all Hoya pet safe?
💛💙💜💚❤

I kind of agree. My mo. Just got some huge grape vines and they dont look like that.
Too many ads.
