I have samsung eco system and the tablet is extra but convenient. I just like it because it connects to my phone and the writing apps have endless paper length which I find it useful when taking class notes. Because I can copy paste section of notes (useful for Diagrams and repetitive drawings). Also can draw neater but not really necessarily.
I actually think getting just an iPad is still worth it. I’m a physics student and the 2019 iPad is the only apple device I have and it still is so convienient. I think that if you study a subject that involves a lot of math then an ipad is the apple product to get. Sure it would be nice if I had the entire apple ecosystem I guess but an iPad only is already gonna make note taking so much easier. And if you use it just for notes like me then you don’t need the newest model either! That’s just my experience though xx
colla note in its free version will show you an add for their subscription in the middle of you writing all over the screen.... its become a big problem to me, I use freenotes now - its completely free and much better I suggest giving it a try

yes! I use the straight line tool for digital and just draw straight lines with a pencil (kinda takes practice lol)
