My mom took me there to see an unknown grave honor guard. At that age 6or so was impressed, inspired to join up after I registered for the draft at 18 and enlisted in active military service right after high school.
Except they're still on duty. They're just ending their current walk. The job they signed up for is to be extremely precise and disciplined every moment they are in public view. And when they get back, they will begin preparing for their next walk.
@@liveforever195 I could say the same thing about the dumbass walk at the Eternal Flame, but I at least respect war memorials and the honor guards that are posted. Regardless of the country.
This is the epitome of the Military Dog and Pony Show. As a former military serviceman I think this is the biggest waste of military resources. The inspection is all show as there is no way someone is going out on duty without prior inspection behind the scenes. Just a waste of manpower.
different places, different traditions...! the American one is not my thing....! I like the "old" East German style better, but unfortunately it doesn't exist anymore and the West German style is boring......!
The honor you display may not be liked by all, but is appreciated by many. Thank You Honor Guard.
Funny how small children remember. Loved it.

Imagine your shift ending at a normal job and having to fuck about like this instead of being able to just get outta there quickly lol

Very nice although I wish they’d polish the stones within the old Boundary Stones. I commend the Sentinels and their guarding the fallen.
when did they change the stain on the weapons? It used to be a darker stain

They why do they sometimes find issues? If the inspection was unnecessary, they'd be perfect every time, yes?
@@ItsMotoMatt Have you ever seen a video where they find issues?
don’t like it? dotwath
